Oh, I fully agree, there's lots of things I'd rather do. Although I'm pretty competitive - just give me a side to root for and I'm in. Then there's the spirit of teamwork, cameraderie, sportsmanship, and all that stuff sports are supposed to teach kids. So I get it, I'm just not that into it.

Oh, as many people line up for the stuff I figure my view is just skewed. I'm all for teamwork, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. I just don't know that I see much of those things in HS Football. At least as far as the parents and other spectators are involved.

I'm a "fan on" kind of gal. Even in the cooler months, I need air moving.
I love to fall asleep watching TV. It drives the husband crazy, which is why I rarely sleep in bed anymore. TV allows me to turn off my thoughts for a while. Without it, I find it very difficult to quiet my mind enough for sleep to find me.

Fan on, I need the monotone drone. TV off; I know a lot of people that sleep with it on, but the light keeps me awake.

Fan on and/or window open. TV definitely off. I wouldn't even have one in the bedroom if it were up to me. Bedrooms are for sleeping and screwing. TV's belong in another part of the house as far as I'm concerned, I think they detract from the sleeping and screwing.

This was an early resolution for me and my man, no TV in the bedroom, ever. More than twenty years on, it seems to be working out just fine
I don't mind leaving the fan on in the bedroom if it's really hot. In fact, it can aid both sleeping and screwing on a very hot night.

Fan on, unless it's incredibly cold. Living in Texas, you can imagine how often that situation occurs.
TV off. And I'm on board with several others about not needing one in the bedroom. It interferes with my reading, and, ummm, other "stuff" time.
