BBQ I'd prefer not to name very many names. I've met a handful already. Mutato and his Angel are on the top of my list, Papa doc, TL...but I only name then because they would actually meet me. I've noticed a rather disturbing trend of people saying they'd "love to meet!!" But then can't because they're either too ashamed of where we met or too worried about how it would"look" or don't want to get "caught" having lunch with me...

That's one of the biggest reasons I've pulled back on my posting on Lit or offering up much in the way of friendship. "Friendship" gets defined differently here, and I don't particularly like that. So, I keep to myself mostly and interject when I've got something to say.

It seems pretty damned stupid to say "ooh!!! I've got all the friends online, but..no..I won't call them...um, no. I can't be seen in public with them...oh hell no to grabbing a bite to eat with them. Unless..... Maybe.. It's at 3 am in a dark corner pub that neither of us have ever been to or will ever go Again because "someone" might see us...

There are many that I want to meet. Of course Emmy is on my list. We've made plans to hangout as well. When she has her breast reconstruction, I would like to be there with her for support.

There are very few Litsters who I would NOT want to meet. I would love to be able to travel to a city, look up which Litsters live there, and get together with them. Women, men, all of them. Having said that, most meetings would be at a Starbucks or a mini golf course. There are a few who I'd prefer to meet for a candlelight dinner instead. Not giving you the list.
