Endless Ends

That was excitement rather than shock.

It's probably a cultural thing. :D

Body scrubs at the spa.

It's a case of either or, I'm afraid. 🤷‍♀️
Ah - i assumed (wongly) you were talking about food!

I think both have benefits. But I do love a sugar scrub...

I am doing a pickup at a church today. It's a little early so I'm sitting in the lobby waiting for the doors to open.

Is it sacrilegious to surf Lit in a holy place 🤔

I do not know . . . .

I have a girlfriend who neither works out or makes a point to eat healthy. She also goes through periods where she smokes. Generally speaking, she just doesn't take care of her body at all.

There is no treating her body as a temple going on.

(See how I snuck a reference to the bible -> church in there? 😝)

She does, however, take care of her face. Entire families could, and do, survive on what she spends yearly. Today, we met for lunch and she told me she is getting ready to do some new face/age treatment that runs several thousand dollars.

Her money. Whatever floats her boat.

What I don't get is why, if she's concerned about her appearance, she doesn't take care of her body as well. Just the minimum, even. She says she can't be bothered with all that hard stuff like exercise and nutrition, and that it's her face people see coming.

The logic of how people spend their money remains a mystery.

I am not excepting myself from that last comment.
I mean, I would like to.
But I am not. 😂
