The second batch is for those that might want to tempt me into going out to eat. It's like preemptive strike cooking.

What kind of detox diet? What are the benefits? How long does it last? Have you tried it before?

Do you just drop food off* at their house if they seem like they’re going to invite you out? Or that’s the food you serve friends who want to get together while you’re still on your diet?

I do GAPS. It's similar to an elimination diet.

I start out on just stock and broth and slowly add stuff. Soups first. Vegetables and meat - stripping out high fiber, high starch, nightshade, and histamine producing vegetables. Then ferments. Then eggs. More vegetables. Etc....

You back down if you have any reactions from food.

It clears your thinking. Gets rid of aches and pains. Generally clears out your body and gives your digestion a rest. Improves workouts. You know, that kind of thing.

I've done it a few times. Based on how I'm feeling I might be on it . . . about three months?
