Yeah, you gotta be smart about knowing where to connect with people. The best places to avoid all the selling and OnlyFans is to visit profiles of people going to events. Never use pics to pick profiles to look at or people to connect with. Sellers and OnlyFans lure you in with sexy pics... The real people who aren't selling don't need to look like Insta models...lol.

I like Literotica and Fetlife because I don't feel like I'm being sold something. A member of each for years, I feel like each site is actively anti-suck-in. ...the only two that I have maintained active long-term attention.

I've been spending more time on FetLife of late. Since the relationship my wife and I have constructed is almost entirely "home-grown," I find the FetLife "scene" to be a bit unnerving. It seems highly structured and judgmental, and it took me some time to comment on anything there without fearing I was about to shit myself. I have had some interesting exchanges with a few individuals who seem to share my submissive approach, but I'm only looking for friendship in something I still often find bewildering even after 30 years. In all, I guess I'd have to say I find FetLife to be a lot like driving past a terrible accident - I find it extremely difficult to turn my head from it!

At some point Fetlife seemed to get very aggressive and kind of mean.
I left the website and started on Lit. To me Lit just feels respectful and a bit safer.
I realize every experience is different and I’m not trying to push anyone in a direction- these are just my thoughts about Fet.

I encountered a lot of that early on but not so much anymore. I’m more focused on training now and that might explain it. I still take part in groups but when I have a sub to train I spend my time concentrating on her
