For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

Chloe “Chicongo” Tzang can’t get anything right:

DonOld was / is Putin’s orange sock puppet - but now Putin has to share his orange sock puppet with President Musk.

Hope that helps

Just some of the items that Biden blocked that are surplus, could go tomorrow, and could help end the war.. and Europe has just offered to cover the cost of Arming Ukraine from the US defense industrial base.

Biden would not let Ukraine even buy them with their own money...not anything on this entire list. In fact, the Biden Admin openly prosecuted people that gave helicopters to alleged "Ally" Ukraine. Biden did NOT consider Ukraine an ally. There was the case of a US sniper rifle donated to Ukraine, Biden's justice prosecuted THAT as well.

300 avengers (air defense)
1-2 million mortar rounds
long range atacms
200+ UH60 helos
400 older bradleys
2000 surplus hmmwvs at auction
m198 155 cannon
1000+ M1s
C130s
40+ aircraft from afg that are sitting in storage in AZ...
MD530 attack helos, other aircraft.
bell 212 fleet that is being retired from state department and USAF
A10s
older CH47s
500,000 M16s and M4s from the USMC and army turned in.
20-30,000 NVGs that were scrapped pvs-7D

As Trump’s team prepared to take over diplomacy, his campaign’s “24-hour peace” pledge evolved into a more calculated timeline. This significant extension reflects what experts see as a growing recognition of the war’s complexities within Trump’s circle.....

Good article

https://euromaidanpress.com/2025/01/22/reality-dawns-trumps-24h-ukraine-vows-meet-moscow/
Well now, that was an extremely interesting, if depressing, read.

Russia as a country appears to have played the Trump team like a fiddle.

Putin took all of Trump's calls during the 2024 presidential campaign, lulling Trump into a false sense of security that they could "do a deal". Russia basically had two major demands, Ukraine will have their NATO application rejected AND Russia gets to keep all territory conquered to date. Trump's team immediately thought that was agreeable, seemingly incapable or unwilling to understand that Ukraine would never accept those terms.

After the election, prior to inauguration, Trump's team began to get intelligence briefing and things started to go downhill very quickly. Trump was still oblivious to reality though, because he and Putin had a "friendship". Trump honestly thought he could bypass all that unnecessary State Department bullshit because he (Trump) knew how to make a fucking deal, dammit.

So Trump simply picked up the phone and.....

.....Putin now refused to take Trump's phone call.

Evidently this was a first. Trump's team realized there was no way in hell an agreement could be reached "on Day One" so the spin machine sprang belatedly into action. Trump's Special Envoy to the Ukraine estimated it would take an intensive "100 day negotiation", State department professionals whispered "Six months minimum" and poor little Marco Rubio took a lot of heat as Secretary of State for refusing to commit to ANY line-in-the-sand timeline.

Then the other shoe dropped as sources in the Kremlin leaked that there were actually now ADDITIONAL "non-negotiable" demands by Russia as a condition of cease-fire, the terms have changed since Joe Biden is no longer president.

In addition to the two non-negotiables above, there were now these "poison pills" added to the existing conditions to really destabilize Ukraine.

1. The entire Ukraine executive branch must step down (in the name of "deNazification").
2. Complete dismantling of the Ukraine military (hey they got Ukraine to give up their nukes for a sack of magic beans years ago)
3. Removing that God damned state-of-the-art NATO Air Defense Artillery system from the eastern edge of Poland (I wrote about this little gem last week)
4. oh, and now Russia is demanding that Ukraine unilaterally cede land in the southern and eastern territories in Ukraine, that Russia has held no interest in before now, and has not been subjected to any warfare campaigns.

Trump blinked.

He asked..."and if I do agree to all of these terms....what do I get in return?".

Putin, in his best Michael Corleone impression, stuck the stiletto into Trump's girthy ribcage, "Nothing. We give you nothing".

I think this was the point when Trump realized how absolutely fucked his negotiating position was. Since this deal was rapidly wafting the stink of failure, Trump handed it over to Little Marco and the State Department to let them take the blame for failure.

Trump had to rewrite a portion of his Golden Age In America inauguration rant to talk bewilderedly about how he didn't understand why Putin all of a sudden wasn't willing to come to the negotiating table.

Not only that, but he's not offering the United States ANYTHING! Trump was confused and hurt by this betrayal of one of the few men in the world he openly admired.

Putin was playing chess all along while Trump thought they were playing checkers.

Checkmate, dotard!

Sentiments and "Trump was played" aside, I think a good summary. End result will be what I said before. Ukraine will get more weapons from Trump than they did from Biden and will win the war. Putin will eat a lead pill and the Russian Federation will disintegrate

Of course, that's what Trump wants, but Ukraine will be reasonable. Putin won't back down, and Ukraine will get what they need to beat up Russia,

2014 borders, including Crimea and reparations, war criminals handed over, etc. Membership of NATO, actual or defacto (the alt. is nukes)

Russia won't agree. Russia will be defeated. Russian Empire will disintegrate

🙄

Translation of Chloe “Chicongo” Tzang’s sugarcoated gish-gallop:

President Musk (and DonOld) LIED, and FAILED to keep one (the first) of their MANY empty PROMISES, while simultaneously signaling that they are ready to BETRAY the Ukrainians. (See also: assistant president DonOld degraded President Zelenskyy by equating him to Putin)

😳 😑 🤬

Thankfully / reassuringly:

President Biden DID secure significant funding for Ukraine BEFORE the traitorous President Musk (and DonOld) took office, AND President Biden built an impressive alliance in Europe, etc that has adopted the policy of securing loans backed by frozen Russian assets for Ukraine’s defense , so Ukraine DOES have a fair to good chance of emerging from this war a truly independent nation with legitimate security assurances / alliances and the REAL prospect of NATO & EU membership.

THANK YOU PRESIDENT BIDEN!!!

Slava Ukraini!!!

Joe Biden helped Ukraine to survive. That much is true. But. And it's a VERY BIG but...Joe Biden lacked the courage to do what was needed to allow Ukraine to win. At every turn he had to be pushed and begged. First, he offered Zelensky a ride out. THEN he wanted Ukraine to win without destroying Russia. A policy that cost Ukraine lives and territory. He'll be remembered like Neville Chamberlain. The wrong man at the wrong time.

Biden abdicated from his responsibilities as leader of the free world - and now his shambles of an administration can finally be consigned to the rubbish bin. He will not be remembered well, if much at all - not even a Bob Woodward production can obscure the bitter truth. Biden was a rank political hack who failed to live up to a unique moment and squandered a once-in-a-century opportunity. Putin’s perception when he decided to invade Ukraine was that the USA was ready to abandon Kyiv. Rather similar to why Saddam invaded Kuwait when you think about it - he though the US Ambassador had given him the go ahead and that the US would not intervene. Biden did the same thing with Ukraine, doing everything they could to reinforce Putin's view. The weapons the Biden Administration initially provided were suitable only for a guerilla struggle: the implied objective was to turn Ukraine into another Afghanistan, a war against an occupier waged with whatever support D.C. thought convenient. Sadly for Biden, the Ukrainians fought back with a ferocity and skill that no-one expected, and changed the course of history.

Making the classic error of nearly every other dictator in his position, instead of backing away and reconsidering his assumptions Putin doubled down. And he’s kept on doing it since, despite the total lack of evidence his war can ever be won. At best, subjugation of Kyiv would split Ukrainians into camps. An extremist group totally unchained by any allegiance to western values would wage a vicious terror campaign in revenge for all that Moscow has wrought in Ukraine: the Troubles in Ireland on cocaine. That’s what Biden’s policy aimed to have on Europe’s eastern frontier. The great thing about Biden finally having no power is that Ukrainians and their allies can openly tell the full, unvarnished truth about how he tried to sell Ukraine to Putin. Between craven surrender and World War Three lies a vast gulf of policy options that were never even considered because they didn’t suit Biden’s vainglorious ambitions.

Was Biden better than what is to come? Guess we'll find out, but it can't be worse, that's for sure. Talk about living history.....

Personally I'm impressed by the way Trump and his team have adapted and changed their approach to Russia and Ukraine. They face reality head on, unlike Biden.

That’s a Nightstalker MH-60. We haven’t exported that variant, though I can’t see any markings. As far as I know, they’ll not be deploying. Although I haven’t talked to my “connections” in while.

🙄

Um, the MH-60 actually IS a Black Hawk variant… The SH-60 is ALSO a Black Hawk variant, but is REFERRED TO as a “Sea Hawk”.

Also:

The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) is known as “The Nightstalkers”, not the MH-60.

Your “connections” should have told you that…

Hope that ^ helps.

Whatever you're referring to there, I don't think Zelenskyy is glad of it. And I suspect Putin is very glad indeed.
