All the left knows is their hate for Trump. It blocks their path to enlightenment on Ukraine and every other policy issue. No successful negotiation can begin with a blame game. Reports are the mineral deal is about to be signed. That will place an American interest in Ukraine that will contribute to its security as long as its footprint is economic and not military. Putin has just said he would accept European peacekeepers in Ukraine. That doesn't mean NATO forces. I said early on that Ukraine would be better served if it was neutral like Austria. That would assuage Russian security fears and allow for economic expansion and foreign investment that advances opportunity and prosperity for the Ukrainian people.
You have no intelligence or integrity. Cannot speak to your experience -- anything you posted about that would be a lie anyway.Your problem is a lack of experience, intelligence, and integrity.
"The blame game"I've posted similar comments. People have lost their aggies.
Yes, it does.Putin has just said he would accept European peacekeepers in Ukraine. That doesn't mean NATO forces.
Not saying something has now become siding with Putin. Biden, NATO and the EU all fucked up but ya don't see the left crying in their beer over that. You are a liar. You have no clue what is happening in those negotiations, none.
If ya can't establish common ground then ya don't have negotiations."The blame game"
47 has blamed Ukraine.
If negotiations don't start with blame, then 47 isn't negotiating.
Common ground is not capitulation. If ya can't establish common ground then ya don't have negotiations.
Although I have enormous respect for Chloe we don't agree on many areas. However, that being said, she's genuine in her opinions and to be respected. You, on the other hand, fly somewhere in the exosphere with other members of the oxygen deprived galactically stupid.
What???? Bullshit, you two are in lock step, except for Ukraine.
Maybe I should go dig up how many of her post's you've liked....Mr "I don't carry water for Trump".
We're conversing about Ukraine you fucking ignoramus.
Excuse me?
Ok where exactly in the sentence above do you refer to Ukraine, and no I won't accept an answer that you give "because we're in a thread about Ukraine"
Yah I've got about much respect for the cunt as I do for a cockroach.
lol.......I take this as a complement, coming from you.
Oh? Who does Trump believe is responsible for the invasion of Ukraine?
Not preparations to invade Russia.I can't speak for the President, but ask yourself what was happening in the Donbas just before the invasion?
2028....?????????He's pretty much blamed Zelensky for not rolling over and playing dead for Putin. Which is a pretty disgusting attitude and view to express.
I agree with much of what Trump is doing domestically, and I am not quite a single issue voter - but I never imagined Trump would take this approach to Ukraine. It really bugs me that he has and if he goes down this path, I sure won't be voting for Vance in 2028. Even with this, I'm not sure if I'd have changed my vote in the last election. There's so much that needs to be fixed, and Trump taking a wrecking ball to everything is going to fix a lot of things - but taking a wrecking ball to foreign policy and Ukraine is just stupid. Short sighted, and given Russia's intentions towards Ukraine, just plan evil. It makes Trump an accessory to intended genocide, and that's beyond the pale.
And for anyone that wants me to say it again, I was wrong about what Trump would do regarding Ukraine. I thought he was smarter than this and would see what the best interests of the USA are. Seems I was wrong. Mea culpa.
For being invaded, you owe us your shit. Now THIS is more like...
An agreement between Kyiv and Washington regarding Ukraine's critical minerals and natural resources will grant Ukraine "military equipment and the right to fight on," U.S. President Donald Trump said on Feb. 25. President Volodymyr Zelensky's office confirmed on Feb. 25 that the U.S. and Ukraine had reached an agreement regarding Ukraine's critical minerals after an intense period of negotiations. Speaking to reporters from the Oval Office of the White House, Trump said that the agreement gave Ukraine billions of dollars in aid and "lots of equipment." It was unclear if he was referring to future or past military aid packages from the U.S.
The devil's in the details, but if it includes more military equipment........that's all Ukraine needs to win this.

At least the deal will give Trump and later presidents an incentive to defend Ukraine's independence. For being invaded, you owe us your shit.![]()
It's a crappy deal and a crappy attitude from Trump, but military equipment and "the right to fight on" rather than an imposed ceasefire is what Ukraine needs from the USA. Biden locked in ammo for 2025 and Rheinmetall is really stepping up - and the EU as a whole seems to have been spurred into REALLY doing something. This could make a real diference if Ukraine gets enough additional equipment from us out of this, and it's not just noise. One can hope.
At this point, he wants anything he can sell domestically as a victory. He wants to save face.So what’s the speculation of how Putin might take this?
Is he going to fade back and lick his wounds? Is he going to nuke us? Is Trump going to give him something as a ‘deal’ that Putin will have no interest in keeping?
No, it was the Ukrainians oppression and killing of 14,000 Russian-speaking people in the Donbas for whatever reason, Putin warned the oppression would not be tolerated. One thing led to another and boom, the invasion. Not preparations to invade Russia.
There is nothing Trump can do that will not be denigrated by the now marginalized left. Not saying something has now become siding with Putin. Biden, NATO and the EU all fucked up but ya don't see the left crying in their beer over that.
Bullshit. Putin invaded UkraineNo, it was the Ukrainians oppression and killing of 14,000 Russian-speaking people in the Donbas for whatever reason, Putin warned the oppression would not be tolerated. One thing led to another and boom, the invasion.
Tell us why?Common ground is not capitulation.
Russia invaded Ukraine. That's a fact.
Ukraine did not start the war. That is a fact.
Explain away that 47 is throwing Ukraine under the bus all you want. It's what he is doing very clearly.
Putin is a dictator. That is a fact.
Zelensky is not a dictator. That is a fact.
Strength is not capitulation. Leverage does not start by giving them everything.
Our ally is Ukraine. That is a fact.
Our adversary is Russia. That is a fact.
