can I just hark back to the Duelling Banjos? I recently watched Deliverance on Youku (the Chinese version of YouTube).

My wife and I canoed in the Ozarks and didn't even hear a banjo. Of course, we never take a guitar and a hunting bow with us when we're on a canoe trip. Maybe next time.

Ed Ames, who played the Indian sidekick 'Mingo' on The Daniel Boone Show way back in the 1960's, was actually part Native American. This has to be one of the funniest things to ever happen to him:

Yes, that was a good one. By the way, did you know that "mingo" is Latin for "I piss?" Do you think the writers knew?
