I should really get one! Due to alot of things that happened in my life I'm just not up to a relationship for a bit but it'd still be nice to have a good friend to get a release with.

Funny...I HAD one a while back...
Funny thing was...I MARRIED her!
We started out as fuckbuddies...purely sexual romps...I was dating someone from the Valley (CA.) and she was...well, taken. It was a blast!
Then, as time went on and our lives kinda got hectic, we started doing something unusual...talking...and things just kinda went from there. I didn't want a relationship, but I got one. She didn't want one either, but it changed over time. Next thing you know, it turned exclusive. We went from fuckbuddies, to friends, to mates, to married folks...10 years later, we still fuck like bunnies!
While the road was in no way all smooth and straight, we have managed to hang in there, against all odds (and sometimes my stupidity). Nobody, including me, expected us to last. Hell, I thought I definitely would bolt after 5 years (my longest prior relationship), but we have gone on. Am I always happy? No, but most of the time I am. Is she? Absolutely not, but again, she is most of the time.
Anyway, I digress...is it worth it to find a fuckbuddy? I absolutely think so...even if you don't end up marrying her (or him), you get to have a little fun along the way, and That's the appeal to me.
