Grats! :)
I got that Ally side cuz i was way bored one day. :p
Very nice UI too.

i did all that purely to unlock the Tourney Quartermaster (want that pony bridle)

i worked hard to find the right stuff to make that UI (22" widescreen monitor helped LOTS)

running XPerl, Bartender (with the bars shrunk to 75% & ZHunter (same shrinkage)
Minimap Buttonframe pulls all the buttons off my minimap (thats the little box on the lower left) & of course I have Titanpanel running as a single bar on the top.

considering dropping healbot for grid, but i am wary of changing how I heal.

Nice UI. Bartender rocks.
I remember using Pit Bull ... along with 124 other addons, I was an addon whore :D
What kept me in WoW about 2 months after I got sick and tired of the game was setting up UI. Glad to see some of those addons are still functional :)

if you add up all my mods (& that includes Deadly Boss Mods, Atlasloot & others that have lots of little mods in the group) i have well over 100 mods running. I had Questhelper up in that screenshot (since I was running around like a madman doing Undercity faction quests) but I keep that turned off usually unless I am playing one of my baby toons.

ok, I'm a mod whore.

I love quest helper. I love the curse client also, that updates all the add ons.

It's a lot easier to keep track than it used to be, when every patch involved redoing everything.

i use the curse client too. only manually update maybe 5 addons now

I'm not really good at tracking down the add ons, but my husband is, and he got me set up.

Just saw some stuff in game that cracked me up.

Guld Name: "Short Bus of War"

Troll Commoner (wearing a flimsy gnome mask): Look at me! I'm a gnome! I don't have a home city! Oh...right.

Oh. I also want to murder the person who thought a penny pouch - a one slot bag - is anything but a total annoyance.

For the benefit of mankind.

Yeah, I truly suck at anything involving jumping in a game. ............

But that game kinda gave me one of those new opportunities to get hit on. Requests to carry me around that I had to turn down as often as I turn down duel requests in Goldshire.

Same here, i can't jump for shit. The other night my guild was in Naxx trying to down Thaddius.

You have to down 2 mini bosses first, then you have to jump to the stage to get to Thaddius. i sat out an entire fight because i kept missing the jump over and over.

Yup. I remember going to the forge to make my "Heart of the Mountain" in Blackrock Depths. I was so frustrated at the jumping to get to it, I was crying.

That was probably a PMS-ey day, but still. Not fun.

that can be really bad when your one of two healers & that happens. (I know this because I have done it)

i'll see if I have a good screenshot of my priests UI when I get home from going postal & post it.

Grid is <3
I cant heal using anything else I only use grid.
Heres a shot of my current UI I only run about 10 addons if not less

Granted I was looking at the ground and unguilded at the time but *shrug* :p

Somehow I very much doubt that

Well, my UI is boring. I didn't even use a spiffy UI when I played EQ. I had a particular set-up that I liked witht he stock UI that involved a LOT of changes in the way they laid it out, but no add-on UI.

I haven't seen a need to change my current UI as I don't do as much in WoW compared to EQ. I was part of a moderate raiding guild back then, and had a LOT of chats going on. So I'd regularly have 7 chat windows in use at any given time and all the little things going that helped me raid.

These days, I sit in the same room as the people I group with, so not so much text chatting goes on. Well, no for me anyway. viv and MIS both chit-chat on text constantly :p

*gives Homburg the UI Kool-aid*

drink, drink & join us!!!

(Bartender just plain rocks!)

Eh, not my thing. I use questhelper, cartographer, SmartDebuff, and Gatherer sometimes. The rest of the stuff hasn't really jumped out and grabbed me. I will say that I really like SmartDebuff. It really helps me keep the poisons, diseases, etc off myself and the girls. Good stuff. And I have it set so that I can heal with it too. Handy tool.

I never played healer but I used Grid for my party/raid frames, it was the best thing I could find to fit my dubious taste in UIs.

People say its too confusing to read....i have used it for two years and never had issues. Someone in my old guild tried to tell me if i wanted to continue raiding i would get healbot, I told him to shove it up his ass.

Its not at all confusing once you get used to it. Imo it reduces clutter on the screen very nicely. I was never happy with my raid frames until I discovered Grid. It told me everything I had to know and even more. Grid rocks.

I am just a freak when it comes to UIs in my games, I absolutely love to change everything I can. I had most things on mouseover in WoW, all the usual buttons are there only one cant see them. And I had all spells hotkeyed and memorized so I didnt have to look.

One thing that really bothers me in new games is character/target frames in upper left corner. I have to have them in the lower middle of my screen, I have problems in looking up left. TCoS doesnt have movable UI and I died tons of times just because I didnt even notice my hp dropped.

Chatting nerds..... I too sit few meters away from my husband and we get into text fight on yahoo over something

Luckily i wasn't healing this round...i had been healing on my Paladin, but had switched to dps for this fight.

I have toons on Gorgonash and thrall. All horde. On thrall i have 80 pally, 75 shaman and some lower alts.

Highest toon on gorgonash is 73 rogue.

Have played almost since beta. Before that played EQ on fenin ro. Wife also plays and even the kids get into it sometimes.
