The trailer for it was certainly interesting.

Total nerd moment. Ulaven and I picked today to celebrate our anniversary. It's technically one day last month, but he's been sick and so we picked today instead.

We were watching "Big Bang Theory" and they had a commercial for it that looked great. We decided to get it for ourselves as an anniversary present. Took about seven seconds of significant eye contact.

I have it on the Gamefly list to rent but it didn't take much for us to make a spontaneous purchase.

So far it looks great, the voice acting is superb, and it plays a lot like my favorite Bioware game, Knights of the Old Republic.

Favourite Bioware offering of all time is Baldur's Gate. I played that game TO DEATH. Hell, I played virtually every game they produced on that engine to death. I went back and played Icewind Dale II on Heart of Darkness mode solo just because I dug the gameplay so damned much.

Oh, I loved that game. We used to play two player and the meteor spells would lock up the PS2 :D

We also have Demon Stone a lot alike. And playing Drizzt Dourdan is a blast.

This game is hilarious. Same smart ass responses possible as in KOTOR.

You go through a village and meet someone who has taken only a vow to speak a certain prayer. "A chanter."

Possible conversation starter? "A chanter says what?"

Suggested drinking game while playing "Dragon Age Origins"

Take a shot every time someone says "taint."

Amazon still didn't ship mine. I hate you.

It's worth the wait. I'm hateable at this point.

It's not as pretty as Fable II.

But the speaking options are hilarious and as usual I'm going to have to go really evil just to take advantage of it, just like I did in KOTOR.

When Neverwinter Nights came out, the only thing that kept me in the game at all were the speaking options. I tried three different characters and was bored stiff. On a whim I rolled a half-orc paladin, and he had a might 7 or 8 in Int. All the NPC's reactions were all of the "You're not too bright, are ya?" and the response lines were gold. Stuff like "Me look for shineys. You find shineys?" or other such witticisms. For whatever reason, it entertained me to play most of the game.

Then again, I adored Minsc. Might be a pattern there...

So who got the Pandarian Monk and the Lil' KT yet?

I DID!

OMG SO FREAKIN CUTE!

The panda does kung fu and if you /bow to him he bows back.

KT cackles as his head spins around and if theres a critter nearby he chains of ices them and then cackles at them. If you kill someone in PvP KT will cackle at them too.

Its awesome. Well worth the money. I bought my boyfriend both for early b-day present since his is in a week and a half. He'll get them later today. We'll see what he says :D

Where did you get these? Sounds adorable.

B bought me the Pandarian Monk. He is so adorable. Love when you are just standing there and he does his kung fu moves.
On the loading screen is a link to where you can buy them.

Damned, can't we have a few posts without WoW? hmrph

OMG, I love Dragon Age.

I have a dog. How cool is it to have a dog as a party member that gets a buff when he pees on trees to define his territory.

I could also listen to my party members chat with each other all day.

I'm not sure who does Alastair's voice, but he's awesome. And Claudia Black is doing Morrigan. She's always good in anything she does.

"So you're afraid barbarians will swoop down upon you?"
"Yes...swooping...is...bad."

I'm afraid to look for Youtube clips or further anything, 'cause I'm getting into spoiler territory myself.
