I have toons on Gorgonash and thrall. All horde. On thrall i have 80 pally, 75 shaman and some lower alts.

Highest toon on gorgonash is 73 rogue.

Have played almost since beta. Before that played EQ on fenin ro. Wife also plays and even the kids get into it sometimes.

I must admit I just love how yours is called...

it's pretty nice. combines a focus macro with a casting macro depending on your class (banish for lock, polymorph for mage, etc) & has a countdown timer with a chime when the DK busts your CC.

just thought of something... gonna test it when I get home to see if I can use it as a focus macro for Misdirect. (my poor 'rilla)

on a completely differenr note, both my son (8) & my little subbie's girl (7) are going to be trick or treating as vampires tonight. they are gonna be sooo damn cute!

Hmmm I dont remember exactly now but I think I had CC macros and focus separately hotkeyed. I had to use different CCs and still blast the kill target at the same time too many times to tie focus to just one form of CC.

in a raid I have mods that throw up tank windows, & in a 5 man xperl gives me target windows. just a focus & misdirect button would be great for my playstyle (extreme slacker)

Ah yes, I remember having separate mod for tanks and tanks targets, beats me now how it was called.
I used Pit Bull for my character, pet and my target and Grid for everyone else. Grid gave me info who had aggro, who was OOM and such things.

Tbh I didnt raid much on hunter, I made the toon just for farming, only when my lock was locked out I agreed to log hunter girl and help guild with whatever.
I was seriously pissed off when they expected me to raid regularly with 2 toons. I was really enjoying Survival hunter and I never aimed to spec only dps on her

it's pretty much impossible to get my Hunter (who despite everyone wanting me to change it) who is my main into a raid. My priest does raid, but between work (I have a 0715 showtime) & getting the grub down for the night, I maybe have made... i don't know, 5 raids in the last 3 months. especially since ToC came out. haven't even tried that on any toon, & been un Uldular maybe 3 tumes. now wen this new grouping/raiding system goes live (I'll link something when I escape work) it looks like I will be able to raid much more on my schedule, rather than the guilds schedule.

I think thats why I like my guild. We have over 400 members and alt runs out the ass so not only does my druid go but so does my mage. ToC is amazing fun, quick, no trash. Ulduar makes me want to slit my wrists a little bit.

I was GM, I could have scheduled raid however it suited me, and I could have logged any toon I wanted.
Too bad I was more interested in making everyone else happy than myself *shrug*
Being irreplaceable gets very tiring in such games.

Anyway, there are 20-25 people in it currently, give or take. Of those,10 are either confirmed kinky and in the lifestyle, or actively wish they were in kinky relationships, and have expressed it in the clear. And those are only the ones I personally know of.

So almost half of the players and staff in this one game are kinky of some sort or another. And I'm not being generous in my use of the word kinky. I'm talking people who are, or have been, in active real time BDSM relationships, or have at least had experience, or those who have said that they are actively looking for BDSM experience. If I expand kinky to include swinger/wife-sharers, the list goes to 12. And my previous game had even more.

Damn, there's a lot of kinky gamers around.

Oh, I have no wish at all to be somebody else. For me, the fun is in the plots and putting on a wide variety of characters. I run the game, so I portray the majority of the characters that the players interact with. This means I get to do all sorts of personalities, voices, mannerisms, etc. For whatever reason, this suits me and I have a great time doing it.

In the span of ten minutes, I might play the Jewish accountant turned vampiric factotum to the area's prince, the East End thug turned crimelord turned pseudo-legit businessman, the British/Pakistani civil rights activist, the oddly philosophical south Alabama redneck with amnesia, etc.

I also dig the plot side. It takes some interesting mental gymnastic to run multiple plots compelling enough to at garner the interest of 20-30 people, and handle all the dicking about they do to attempt to deal with whatever plot or challenge I've tossed out, all while adjudicating their attempts to fuck each other over.

I actually don't enjoy being a player all that much these days. Running the game has been what I do for so long now that playing one character is just dull. So I guess you could say that I don't want to be one other person. I want to be fifteen other people

I have a background and theater and I've just always had access to a "file card catalog" of personality types I can swap out whenever.

I'm also very good at voices and accents, so it's really not hard for me to transform into someone else. Writing fiction also helps me get into other people's mind spaces. I can't always do it and of course there are large batches of the dewey decimal system missing in my card file, but I enjoy learning how personality and thought works.

It's not about wanting to be someone else. I love being me. I also just love the creative process of putting me into other situations that would result in different choices, different outlooks, different strategies. This adds new choices, new outlooks and new strategies to my life. New points from which to view.

It's all me. One excellent acting teacher taught me that. The best actors are the ones that put themselves into situations and figure out how to be themselves there.

Scored maybe four squashlings. They keep freaking me out when they plant themselves and then run after me.

"AAAAUGH! Something's coming! Oh. It's you."

Same thing happened in EQ2, my paladin and shadowknight got vanity squires to follow them around and it took me a while to get used to it. I kept seeing this dude out of the corner of my eye and getting a little perved out.
