Trees trying to turn, but so dry they're drying up too fast. Got some new azaleas and roses to plant. Surprisingly, I need to mow. The trees are looking nice and I love how bright they colors can be.

I can’t remember where you’re at CCS. We had a very wet summer here, so the foliage looks pretty good here in NJ.

I’m still mowing the lawn here too.
 
Haha! My wife just took a picture of me earlier. It’s a super thick hedge, maybe seven or 8 feet tall and about 15 feet wide.

I’m not sure how old it is, it came with the House. The house was built in 1959.

Here is me having fallen through into the middle of the hedge. What does my wife do? Help me out? Nope. Take a picture of my humiliation!!!

She figured you live and semi well, might as well get a picture. Lol I'm in South Carolina, little southwest of Charlotte nc

I’m glad. It seems to be the easiest way for me to post photos!

Took a bunch of pics today. Flowers still going!! I will post later.
 
The flowers are still hanging in there! It’s been cool, but no freeze as of yet.

1. Black-eyed Susan.
2 &3 Cosmo. The flower heads seem to be ginormous.
4. He autumn Astors are about 6 feet tall.
5. Autumn Astors and Montauk daisy.
6. Monks hood. (Heh heh, I said hood, heh heh) allegedly these flowers are poisonous.
7. Montauk daisy with a visitor.

 
The last freeze, earlier this week, killed everything. But it’s always good to see flowers in mid November. These pictures were all from about a week ago.

1. Black eyed susan
2. Fall astors
3. Cosmos frozen over
4. Anemone are still going super strong. They are spectacular. From our neighbors.
5. The Montauk daisies are starting to die off.

They’re all gone now, so I guess that’s the official end of the gardening season. 😞

I brought my little lemon tree inside last week and it looks like we are getting little 🍋
 
With way temps have been, the garden trying to grow again. Pulled 2 watermelons and herbs after 2 frosts. Rosemary taking over finally.

so… these black eyed Susans are STILL hanging in there! The last week it’s been below freezing every night, but I admire these flowers for hanging in there! I have no idea how or why they are still alive. They are below a ewe hedge, so maybe that is protecting them from the hard Frost?

First pic from Friday, and the second one is from just now. They are definitely struggling with the colder weather the last few days.

I start my snowblower up once a month, just to keep the carburetor running and clean.

It felt like snow this morning, although only rain is forecast. It wouldn’t you know it, that motherfucker wouldn’t start!

That always makes me think it will snow a lot! 😂

I did get it running, which makes me think that it won’t snow now!! 😂😂😂
