GeeBee Tech Support thread - pose questions, get answers

Bringing the thread back on-topic, I have successfully set up a Powerline network.

Monoprice, you make basic tech so easy to use.

I've never really seen the point. I get gigabit speeds over the entire house and garden over wifi.

Windows 10

How do I delete programs? I want all Apple stuff offa my Porn Viewing Machine.

there are 2 ways

On the Start menu select Settings.
Select Programs > Programs and Features, and then select the program.
click on it and choose uninstall

On the Start menu select Settings.
Select System > Apps & features.
Select the program, and then select Uninstall. Some apps built in to Windows can't be uninstalled.
Follow the directions on the screen.

this is if you left it all in the default layout

I found lots of stuff to delete!

What does Microsoft Silverlight do?

That's an issue. What does half the shit do? So many apps running, which can I get rid off? And how many maybe bad ones with necessary sounding names?

Size? Resolution?

MS Office work, primarily, so 24" at a minimum.

Pixel density: something that takes it easy on these old, tired eyes.

Dual-monitor setup.

Ideally as minimal a bezel as possible.

I'm leaning IPS as a dual-screen setup means that each panel will be off-center to the user.

the best thing to do is to get 3, the one in the middle would be smaller than the other 2 and it would not make you look at the monitors awkwardly
