I hope the day is good for everybody. Have a good one and I'll talk with ya'll later on.

Oh and by the way, have a great weekend too.

Morning everyone,
Had a good day yesterday, left work early and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon. I see there wasn't much going on here either. I'ts amazing how busy one can get. I hope everybody has a good Friday, and enjoys the weekend.

Got a letter from Grandma the other day. She writes...
The other day I went up to a local Christian bookstore
and saw a "Honk If You Love Jesus " bumper sticker.
I was feeling particularly sassy that day
because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance,
followed by a thunderous prayer meeting;
so I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper.

Boy, I'm glad I did!
What an uplifting experience that followed!

I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection
just lost in thought about the Lord and how good He is...

and I didn't notice that the light had changed.
It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus
because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have noticed!

I found that LOTS of people love Jesus!
Why, while I was sitting there,

the guy behind me started honking like crazy,
and then he leaned out of his window and screamed,
"For the love of GOD! GO! GO! JESUS CHRIST, GO!"

What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus!
Everyone started honking!
I just leaned out of my window
and started waving and smiling at all these loving people.
I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love!

There must have been a man from Florida back there
because I heard him yelling something about a
"sunny beach"...
I saw another guy waving in a funny way
with only his middle finger stuck up in the air.
When I asked my teenage grandson in the back seat
what that meant, he said that it was probably
a Hawaiian good luck sign or something.
Well, I've never met anyone from Hawaii;
so I leaned out the window and gave him the good luck sign back.
My grandson burst out laughing...
why even he was enjoying this religious experience!

A couple of the people were so caught up
in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars
and started walking towards me.
I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended,
but this is when I noticed the light had changed.
So, I waved to all my sisters and brothers, grinning,
and drove on through the intersection.
I noticed I was the only car that got through the intersection
before the light changed again and I felt kind of sad
that I had to leave them after all the love we had shared;
so I slowed the car down, leaned out the window
and gave them all the Hawaiian good luck sign
one last time as I drove away.

Praise the Lord for such wonderful folks!

3-year-old, Reese:

"Our Father, Who does art in

Amen."

A little boy was overheard praying:

"Lord, if you

can't make me a better

boy, don't worry about it.

I'm having a real good

time like I am."

A. Sunday school class was studying the Ten

Commandments. They were ready to

discuss the last one. The teacher asked if anyone

could tell her what it

was. Susie raised her hand, stood tall, and quoted,

"Thou shall not take

the covers off the neighbor's wife."

After the christening of his baby brother in church,

Jason sobbed all the

way home in the back seat of the car. His father

asked him three times what

was wrong. Finally, the boy replied,

"That preacher

said he wanted us

brought up in a

Christian home, and

I wanted to stay

with you guys."

I had been teaching my three-year old daughter,

Caitlin, the Lord's Prayer

for several evenings at bedtime, she would repeat

after me the lines from

the prayer. Finally, she decided to go solo.

I listened with pride as she carefully enunciated

each word right up to the

end of the prayer:

"Lead us not into temptation,"

she prayed,

"but deliver

us some E-mail.

Amen."

A Sunday school teacher asked her children, as they

were on the way to

church service, "And why is it necessary to be

quiet in church?"

One bright little girl replied,

"Because people are

sleeping."

Six-year-old Angie and her four-year-old brother Joel

were sitting together

in church. Joel giggled, sang, and talked out loud.

Finally, his big sister had had enough. "You're not

supposed to talk out

loud in church." "Why? Who's going to stop me?" Joel

asked.

Angie pointed to the back of the church and said,

"See those two men

standing by the door?

They're hushers."

A mother was preparing pancakes for her sons, Kevin,

5, and Ryan, 3. The boys

began to argue over who would get the first pancake.

Their mother saw the

opportunity for a moral lesson. "If Jesus were

sitting here, He would say,

'Let my brother have the first pancake, I can wait.'"

Kevin turned to his

younger brother and said,

"Ryan, you be Jesus!"

A wife invited some people to dinner. At the table,

she turned to their

six-year-old daughter and said, "Would you like to

say the blessing?"

"I wouldn't know what to say," the girl replied.

"Just say what you hear Mommy say," the wife

answered.

The daughter bowed her head and said,

"Lord, why on

earth did I invite all

these people
