Severus thought about it too. I dont know. He could be helping Harry, or not. I cant really see too well from here. he replied mentally. He looked back at the maze, and saw Krum and then Fluer enter, but he could've sworn he saw Barty quickly speak with Krum. He then used some magic so he could see the maze from areil veiw, like a bird. He could now see what was happening. He shared the veiw with Emily, hoping she would like it. He wanted to see how well everyone would do.

 

[Mayu]

She sighed a bit and didn't like it, but then she watched what Severus did and thought about it for a moment. And smiled happily when he shared her the view and she wanted to rest her head against his shoulder. But knew she couldn't, and when Barty said something to Krum "Well we will have to keep our eyes open in case Barty tries to hurt anyone or use magic in any way. I may trust Igor but I do not trust that Krum fellow" She said in her head. Something about Krum worried her and didn't know what it was.

Severus mentally hook his head. Krum wouldn't hurt anyone, unless he was bewitched or something. And then it became all so clear. Barty had bewitched Krum! he looked back over the maze, and saw Krum try to track down the other Champions. He was nearing Fluer, and he saw him take out his wand. He shared all of his veiws and discoveries with Emily, and then a funny thought came to mind. Hey Em, you think Jacob wants to see the Task? he joked to her.

Emily didn't know what was going on but right now she just shrugged, but then she heard what Severus said to her and looked at him. "Are you serious?" She felt there son moving and silently smiled at him and his tiny little head peeked out and his little black eyes could be seen looking at the magic that Severus had done, she put her self in a way where no one could see there baby, and she made sure to keep him silent.

Severus smiled, seeing his son witness a historical event. Sad, but historical. He continued looking himself. He saw Krum round the corner to Fluer, and Severus ushered Jacob back into Emily's cloak, not wanting him to see the violent parts. Perfect timing as well, for right when he left view, Krum attacked, using a spell to knock out Fluer. Severus saw Harry move, hearing the Fluer scream, and he saw Krum himself, and then he saw Fluer. He then sent sparks to save her. So far, Barty had apparently set it so that Krum would get rid of all the Champions but Harry, ensuring Harry would win. But why? He broguht the question to Emily.

She looked at Severus hearing the question, but she got a rather nasty head ache and a vision filled her head. "Oh god..." She knew what was going on and knew this was going to be when Voldemort would rise again. "Severus I know what he is doing! he is making this area a portkey if Harry gets to the cup he will be teleported to Little Hangleton graveyard and he is going to use Harry's blood to bring back Voldemort!." She said in her head rather worried, she knew all in all voldemort had to come so they could stop him but still..

Severus heard her discovery, but wasnt too surprised. "Well, he had to come back sometime during this year, or he wouldn't have sent one of his Death Eaters here. And what better way to get to Harry but when he isnt under Albus's eye? No doubt Albus has expected this and knows what to do. You don't have to worry." he whispered reassuringly. He didn't, however, tell her that this was supposed to happen.

 

[Mayu]

She looked up at him surprised "Don't worry....Don't worry?" She tilted her head. "Severus we can stop Voldemort from even coming into play, why on earth would you want this to happen?" She said mentally and shook her head looking down at there son in her arms. Taking a deep breath she looked up and didn't know what to think with Severus right now. Was it suppose to happen? what the hell was going on since he told her nothing about there meetings.

Severus knew that this would happen. Emily, what can we do? We are not allowed to help Harry in anyway, and cancellation of the Task is impossible. There is no way for us to intervene. Any way, I must tell you this, for I can't bear not telling it to you any longer. Voldemort is to return tonight. he told her. He didnt want to believe it himself, but he knew it was true.

She sighed some shaking her head "I know but I was hoping to stop a growing threat in it's tracks, people would let us. Man these rules suck" Hearing that Voldemort would come tonight she then knew. "Then tonight is when Cedric will die..." She said mentally, and squeezed his hand. "I am sorry Severus your right he has to come but....I was just wishing we could stop it from happening but even if he did he would end up coming back one way or another..right?"

He nodded, not speaking a word. He continued looking at the Task, and saw that Cedric had knocked out Krum, and now Cedric and Harry were racing to the center. Their we're several obstacles in Harry's path, but more in Cedric's. it was as if someone was clearing Harry's path. He shared his view with Emily as well, and saw a bogart, a sphinx, a Blast Ended Skrewt, a Golden Mist, and an Acromuntula, probably the hardest of all. Harry went though them all with some difficulty, but with relative ease, and soon both he and Cedric had to face the Acomuntula.

She smiled at him and watched as he continued to share the view with her, which she thanked him for. She knew what was to happen to the boy and only wished to god that she could stop this. But knew that she had to back down that she couldn't do what she wanted. Holding onto Severus a bit keeping it hidden and there son. She could see the final task ahead and smiled at him "Come on Harry..." She said in a whisper unsure about how this was going to work out, but knew that Cedric was running out of time.

Apparently, Harry and Cedric had decided to team up against this final obstacle. They overcame it together, and then were in front of the Cup. Tey appeared to be arguing, and then they both dove for it, and were gone. They were no longer in the maze. None of the students knew, since they couldn't see what was happening, but they were gone. Severus was confused; how could they have left the maze, without apparating or anything?

She sighed a bit and knew "Barty made the maze into a portkey which means they have teleported some place else and no longer here. Least that's what I thought a portkey was I am still learning things here" She smiled a bit and could hear people talking wondering where on earth they went. "When they appear unfortunately only Harry will be alive, things are going to get worse from here" She said mentally and looked down at there son and smiled at him. Stroking there sons cheeks she knew they had to do something.

Severus heard her explanation, and it all made so much sense. Of course, a Portkey! H thought about it for a moment, and then he stood up. "Listen Emily, I am going to tell Anus, and see what he can do. Stay right here." he told her. He walked out if the crowd, with much difficulty, and walked over to Albus. He quickly whispered everything in his ear, and Albus nodded. "Yes, I am aware. Unfortunately, we can't do anything, if we tell Fudge, he will think we are craze, and we aren't allowed to intervene with the Tournament." he told him. Severus nodded and walked back to Emily, his face saying it all.

She nodded to him and knew that it would be hard to get out of this place with there baby, but she wasn't worried about it really. Watching Severus speak to Albus she smiled a bit, but then when he turned around and she saw the look on his face she knew they were to do nothing. She looked down and sighed shaking her head. "This is unacceptable" She said to him but wouldn't do anything she just wanted to say it.

He nodded in agreement. Since all the Champions were outside of the maze, there was nothing to do. Severus was getting bored, but apparently, Barty was very excited. He wasn't sitting still, he was jumpy, and you could just see it in his eye. Severus knew he was excited for the Dak Lord to return, and he felt hate onc emore towards him.

She could see and sense everything and squeezed Severus's hand showing him it would be okay, even if they couldn't do anything. Looking up at Severus she just gave him a reassuring look, sure there was a lot to be worried about. But she knew Harry wouldn't die yet. Not that this made it any better.

After 30 an hours or so, Severus saw a flash, and Harry fell on the ground with the Cup in hand. Everyone cheered, and trumpets began playing. But few had yet seen the full story. Cedric was in Harry's arms, or actually, Cedric's corpse. And Harry was crying, murmuring something into the ground. Once people noticed this, they screamed. Abus, fudge, Barty, and Severus all walked over to him, and heard what Harry was saying. "He's back! Voldemort, he's back!" He cried. Severus and Albus turned pale, but Fudge was skeptical. And Barty tried to conceal his happiness. Albus, with much difficulty, pulled Harry off Cedric. Soon, it became a sad moment when Cedric's father came, and began crying. Severus almost showed tears, hoping this would never happen to him, seeing his own son dead. He turned just in time to see Barty march off with Harry. Severus looked at Emily, caught her attention, and motioned for her to stand. He went over to Albus, and told him what he had seen.

Emily sensed what was going on and knew the boy was dead and before she knew it Both Harry and Cedric came out, but she could only feel one heart beat and looked down sadly. Screams could be heard and knew that Harry was very sad, everyone liked Cedric she almost didn't come to this because she knew what was to happen. But she had to do something and wouldn't let anyone come between her duty and the snake behind this. Her Grey eyes scanned the area and knew who did it, so she did a little spell.

Only Severus and Albus would be able to see there son in her arms and she went up to them, and decided to tell them. "Voldemort is alive now and Peter is the one who took down Cedric, it was Harry's blood that got him a form." She said and then thought to Severus "This is when you will have to pay close attention to your brand Severus, darker it is the stronger he gets and the more it burns will show the power. Course I will be able to sense his raising power to" She said mentally and looked at Albus. "What do we do now?"

Albus heard Emily ask her for instructions, and he responded. "You shall follow me, Severus and McGonagall. We are to go to Barty Jr's office, and prevent him from harming Harry." he said. Severus took Emily's hand, and headed off with Albus once Professor McGonagall arrived to join them. They walked off to Barty's office, and waited outside, paying attention in the case of Harry being harmed.

It was a rather interesting moment and thinking for a second she walked beside her husband and went into the office and smirked at the man. She knew now was time to stop Barty "I can do a spell to revert back even with the potion in his system I can force it without hurting him" She said giving them the choice to be able to do it. A deep breath could be heard as she rubbed the back of her neck, thinking a hundred things.

Severus smiled, and whispered back to avoid being heard. "No, I don't think that is necessary." he told her. They heard faint speaking, and Albus burst into the room, lifting his wand and sending Barty flying into a chair. And in the nick of time too, he had his wand raised hwen he had entered. Albus motioned for Emily to care for Harry, but not to heal his wounds. Severus and Albus walked up to Barty, and Severus pulled out a vial of Verateserum, and forced the liquid down the man's throat. They began questioning him. They left nothing unquestioned, and soon learned how Barty was still alive. Once Albus asked wher the real Mad Eye was, all the man did was move his eye to the chest on the other side of the room. Albus walked over to it, and used his wand to unlock. After many minutes of all the chests to unlock, the final one opened. They all looked in, and saw Mad Eye there, asleep, half bald. He was missing his eye.

Emily walked over to the open chest and saw the real mad eye and handed over Jacob to Severus and knelt down placing her hand on his forehead. "Professor Moody" She called to him and knew he would be out of it for a while, looking onto his sleeping form she gave a soft smile. "He is alive but he will be rather weak for a couple of days" She said softly.

They all heard her announcement, and sighed with releif. They all turned to Barty, and saw his Polyjuice was wearing off. His body was morphing, and it looked pretty apinful. He tore off the eye, and soon he was back in his regular form. Harry, curious as to who he was, came closer, and he tried to jump onto him. Severus held him back with his free arm, and waited for any instructions from Albus. Albus lifted his wand, and restrained him. He led Harry out of the room, and he told Emily and Professor McGonagall t leave Barty to Severus. As they left, Severus wanted to do something to inflict pain on Barty, but knew he shouldnt. Soon, Fudge came up, and upon seeing him, called for a unit of government wizards to pick him up.
