Anyone else? Took the kiddos to the MIL's and they collected quite a loot (and they're still at that "sharing" age :) ) but not only that, MIL sent home bags of it, because she didn't have as many kids as expected...

I'm all Milkywayed out...!

I sat all evening talking to Linny on YIM. I had ONE DAMN KID. It's horrible. I'm stuck with hundreds of Snickers, Mounds and Peanut Butter Cups. :D

We had tons of trick-or-treaters, but I was still overprepared. All the dum-dums were given away, but I still have sweetarts left.

For some reason trick or treaters didn't stop by the motel last night....

Well, there was this one young lady but that was a whole different thing.... :D

lol

did she get a treat? ;)

Zero trick-or-treaters in my area.

And when we took the son over the hill to a friend's house, it seemed as if every family in the city had driven to that area.
I wished I had brought the candy we had bought- handed it over to one of the beleagered homes up there.

This used to be about your own neighborhood- now it's about expecting that the "rich" people will give you Mars Bars instead of lollipops.

guilty
but more because the kids are little, and it's hard to walk long distances between houses with no lights on for them... so we go to the MIL's (rich suburb) where almost every house has a light on...

but they were giving away whole candy bars at some houses... butterfingers, snickers... not baby ones... WHOLE candy bars!

No trick or treaters. And get this. I have one of those gynormous bags of all things Bazooka....I have a cavity in one of my teeth and let me just tell you...it is HURTING.....

Bazooka...sugar for your heart and soul. *sick*

I took the kidlet to the little town where my dad lives and it's like halloween paradise. There are more houses with lights on than kids that live in the town. He got loads of candy and I had to put it up to keep him(or me) from eating it for breakfast. Mmm, Snickers.

We stopped counting kids at 30.

We went through three boxes of Snickers, three boxes of Hershey's Bars, and five boxes of Reeses two packs.

There is a lone Snickers bar sitting on the table.

Somehow I think the kiddies will be visiting us again next year. :D

Cat

Oh as far as the Teenies?

We had three seperate groups show up. All three got the shit scared out of them. (In one case literally. )

The second group, who came loaded with eggs and paint filled water baloons threatened to call the police as they scampered down the street. Sure enough a short time later the leader of the group and several of his cohorts showed up with the police. The Police Officers listened to what I had to say, looked at the trailers they had egged and paintbombed. Looked at the small pile of baloons I had gathered up from where they had been dropped, and arrested all of them while thanking me for standing up to them. (One of the officers made me demonstrate then explain how I had rigged up the lights and the speakers. He liked the idea.)
