how long have you been shaving
i get these up in that area when i shave maybe from a dul razor or maybe just cause it sensitive dont know a little baby powder and they are history but hun i doubt that they are anything seriuos as herpies or such......

I wouldn't worry....
I would ask your doctor (he will probably send you to a dermatologist if he doesn't know the answer) and he could probably prescribe something to help or give advise about what to do. I am sure it is nothing to worry about. I really don't think a guy is going to pay much attention. I have a scar on my lower ab. from an ovarian cyst I had removed and was so paranoid about my scar...my husband (boyfriend at the time) actually loves it. Don't worry and good luck at your appointment.

As young as we were, and sexy as she was, I didn't even notice it for a few weeks!

Really doubt its herpes or anything STD related period (but I won't never say never not knowing you or seeing it). Probably heat rash (also called chafing, gaulded reaction), eczema is another good possibility. I've always had same problem since I was kid....in my case it's basically eczema. I get it lots of particular locales on the bod too but inner upper area of my chubby thighs has always been a winner for getting irritated particularly in the heat. Looks absolutely gross if acting up and itches really really really bad. Prescription steroid ointment puts it at bay pretty quick in my case. There's OTC stuff too. Heat, sun, nerves, clothing (like for me can't wear pantyhose), exercise etc etc can cause it.
I can relate to the feeling worried about what it looks like. Try not to worry. I used to get so upset about skin problems (still do sometimes) but that just aggravates most skin irritations as stress is a factor. Try an OTC cortisone cream see if it helps and talk with the doc. A dermotologist (skin doctor) would be next if need be. This too shall pass....might not look great at times but that is not what someone is with someonelse for...but get yourself some answers and some relief if you need it because you feeling comfortable and good about yourself is the what makes you shine...period. I was always more upset about any skin problem I've had than anyone else was.

My wife and i have been attached for over 5 years now.. and she's got the same problem, only hers occurs on the back of her legs.. according to her it gets worse if she shaves back there too frequently...
a few notes... CF brought up a good point.. if your using a laundry detergent thats got scents and colors, try using one without... Purex Free and Clear is a good one, inexpensive, and hypoallergenic...
and WOK bought up gold bond.. just in case you need ot know.. gold bond works on a myriad of problems. the body powder and cream are great, and my wife uses the spray on her back sometimes {itchies from being pregnant}....lol not that i already sound like a commercial, but another wonderful item if you have a sore that gets torn open, is betadine plus -- its betadine with lidocaine <SP?> so it keeps it from getting infected and it takes the pain away...
oh, a note from my wife... more power to you for being a virgin at 19!!... she lost her V when she was 19.. to me!!! lol, it was a heck of a present, and a bit of a turn on, knowing that i taught her everything, and made her the lusty woman she is today!

But to your post... I'm with many others on this point: most men are too excited to be getting to see you naked that they won't notice the little things that make you uncomfortable.
And I get those, too. I get them on my thighs, backs of legs, and sometimes in my pussy area when I shave... I suggest you research something called folliculitis. I had it when I was in high school on my knees, from wearing volley-ball pads for 3 hours a day, and sweating under the pads... now, I have it on my thighs and backs of legs. It's basically infected pores and hair follicles. They burst when they get friction, and they hurt. But they're harmless, and not contagious, as far as I know.
And if a guy's gonna freak over those little spots, and your explanation won't calm him down, there's obviously a trust issue.. and would you want to sleep with someone who doesn't trust you?
