See the tail end of the haft? That's turquoise, onyx, and silver. Very much a trademark of Zuni craftsmanship. The blade itself could have been made anywhere, but I'm guessing that the two craftsmen were closely associated geographically. It's just a guess though so being wrong isn't going to haunt me.

I think it was a perfectly reasonable guess. I won't take you to task for it. It does have a distinctly southwest look to it.
