She has terrible technique... plus, I don't like fake boobs.
and holding the weapon wrong.![]()
That top gun is .357? It's tiny. Must be great for self defense.
My Glock, in .40 S&W, is not a large gun but it has very good penetrating power.
Field strip is as fast as they come, two pins in the frame in front of the trigger and the whole thing breaks down in 2 seconds, goes together again just as quick. Rotating barrel design works flawlessly. Very light recoil, very accurate for first and following rounds. Yea, I'm a revolver guy that really likes this one, it's light and well balanced, very good grips and trigger pull...mine is double action, very nice in either SA/DA. Safety is excellent design, ambidextrous firing pin interruptor ....

Geeks. But I also noticed her trigger yank.
*properly chastised*
Baloney. Over my knee, Missy.
That's [.30 Carbine] a peculiar choice. So cowboys only had to carry one kind of ammo?
As Thor says, it was never a "cowboy cartridge." It was just a very weak rifle round that was (barely) adequate as a pistol round -- I don't know anyone who ever bought one and don't know if Ruger still makes the single-six in that caliber; I just know that ca. 1970 it was one of the options available at "Wonder World" where I bought my first Blackhawk.
... the Single-Six has always struck me as a cowboy-looking shootin' iron.
I forgot to reply to that when Thor said it. I was kidding, since the Single-Six has always struck me as a cowboy-looking shootin' iron.
Fair enough. It pretty much IS a "cowboy shootin' iron."
Got the convertable, with a cylinder for .22 WMR?Got one in .22. It's pretty much a toy.

Got the convertable, with a cylinder for .22 WMR?
A friend had a .22 single-six with both 22LR and 22WMR cylinders; I about wet myself the first time he fired a 22WMR round -- it was a LOT louder than I expected, nearly as loud as the .357 Mag rounds in my Blackhawk.![]()

Na, just the toy.
I've got one, the convertible. The .22LR borders on useless, but the .22 WMR is credible. I usually carry it as the side arm of choice while hunting. I load it with 1 snake shot backed by two hollow points with the snake shot the first round that the hammer's going to fall on. All in all it's a handy and versatile little field gun.

Might be useful for spring skeeters.
And you aren't renowned for your Eastern or Western Diamondbacks up there.

One operating issue with all light blowback pistols, including the TPH, is that the slide may not cycle properly if the pistol is fired with a weak grip in the firing hand. A firm grip is required for reliable operation.
