The golem looked around searching for Eiji, but it couldn't find him on the ground, in the air however... "Sibling kick!" Two giant flashes struck the huge being sending it stumbling back "You mess with one", said an exhausted Eiji.

"You mess with both!" Said Mai, who seemed to be leaning on the leg she didn't kick with a bit. The golem quickly regain controll and and began to stomp madly torwards thee two.

"Mai, leave most of the fighting to Cerberus and I kay?"

"But-"

"You're not strong enough to fight an rock beast yet, just give it some time okay?" Mai only nodded, some what disagreeing with Eiji. "Okay, Lets go!"

Lee and Rikku

Lee: Why is eiji being so cautous? besides me and prehaps Touji sense he improved there is no one thats a match for us. I looked upa t Tetsuya and the now advanceing statues.

If he is useing his power to maintain them he can't have much left to fight with. Eiji is right about this power ebing new but there is no way he could of improved that much. I jump into teh air and fly up tehre to chalenge him alone.

Rikku: I looked at one statue and then the other. "Crap." As the golems advanced I quickly found myself the only capable person not fighting. Amoungst this chaos I have to do something but are my spells going to do well against them?

"I'll keep the kids safe!" I looked around and the kids were handling themselves. "Never mind." I kept to myself for a good portion of the fight.

Hy and Mai finished Knoking back a golem. They landed on the ground and I decided it was time to test my skill. I jumped on teh apraoching golems knee and then up to it's body. With my claws out I hit it as hard as I phsyicly could.

"Crap! Nothing!" I swung my lgs out kicking off teh chest and pushing myself backward. A stone fist glances by my feet missing by no more then an inch.

"Ha! Eiji got into the air and slammed his foot into the golem again, this time, Eiji was going to be merciless. "Take this! Yakama!" Eiji with quick and powerful speed, he sent an red beam of energy at the beast, blowing its head off. "So long Rocky!"

Eiji landed laughing, but his laughing didn't last too long as he felt the golem's hand grab him "Uh-oh... I guess I spoke too soon!"

Rikku

OOC: If you wouldn't mind ignore Lee until the end of the two golems. Thank you.

IC: As I land on the ground Eiji is air born and smashes his fists into the golems head. The head bursts into rocks that fly in all directions. "Well that ends this one."

A stone hand comes up and grabs Eiji. "Holy crap!" What type of sumons are these? I didn't want to use this but I have little choice. I tuch a charm on my right bracelt activateing it.

"Goliath Strength" The charm turns red and then the glow stops but a slight red tone apears over my body. The charm then shatters it's power reliesed.

In a single bound I jumped up to it's shoulders. I ran down it's arm stoping at its hand that held Eiji's leg. I punched the first finger and it broke right off. I then hit the second and it to fell. The golem droped Eiji and a hand came right at me from it's otehr hand.

In almost a reflex I threw out my hand to block the blow. My little fist hit the center of it's palm. Crakcs formed there from my force but I was still knoked back and away from it.

I hit the wall and fell to the ground. Crap I have about 30 seconds left to do as much damage as I can. I stood up "ll hit some one else too!"

"...enough of this."

Yoshiro's fist crackled with energy as he rose.

"Your magic is nothing compared to mine!"

Swirls of spirit energy began to gather around him as the stone cave floor began to crack near his feet.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

He screamed, and electricity sizzled around him.

"It's OVER! Prepare for my final technique!"

He leapt at the female statue.

"IRON MAIDEN!"

A surge of psychic energy blazed around him, a combination of all the elements he could muster, and then lashed forward, ensnaring the statue and striking it with supercharged bullets until it cracked and crumbled. Then, as the statue seemed near to finished, the energy gathered into psychic spikes, surrounding the statue...

Yoshiro turned away, smirking. The victor was already decided.

The spikes decended, piercing the statue in a hundred different ways -- and the magic was finally cancelled in an uproar of power, causing the statue to explode into tiny fragments of rock.

The young man tossed his reddish hair.

"...heh!"

Mai tried her best to keep some distance from the golem when she needed to, and was quite sucessful until she relised that the huge beast had traped her in the corner. "Oh no..."

The large beast pulled its fist back, and slamed it into her, or at least it thoght it did. The only thing the golem truely hit was stone, and an sharp pain in its back "This is for trying to hurt my sister! Tornado kick!" In one front flip kick, the golem was the one traped in the corner "Tetsuo x2" In one beam of white light Eiji azpeared in front of the golem, then he disapered once again, and reapered behind the golem. "Those who fight to kill, do not deserve to live!" Eiji put his sowrd back into its hilt and the golem split in two, then three, then 20, then to 40, and fell to the ground as an heap of blocks.

"Thats two down! Now for the one we came for!"

Lee

IC: "Tetsuya drop your sommun and give back Milo." He looked at me and smiled. 'Why?' "Coem now I beat you a few weeks ago. Granted your stronger now but holding those two golems has to drain all your power."

He smiled even more. 'My desire for vengence has increased my power so much. Why I don't even feel like Tetsuya any more.' He laughed at that last remark. The laugh wasn't visible it was there but hidden as if he was above laughter. His smile also seemed odd place but he was acting familar to me; but, he wasn't acting like Tetsuya.

'Whats wrong lost your nerve Anno?' My eyes widened he never called me that. "I'll beat you to submision then." His smile droped and he stuck out his hand and motioned for me to start.

...Rikku Ten minutes latter...

I rushed towardss the golem attacking Mai. "I'll take out it's leg." Before I reached it the golem had exploded. I turned back at the otehr one which was now dust. My hand faded ten seconds or so later the spell had ended and the red glow stoped. "I will regret loseing that."

'Thats two down. Now for the one we came for!' Okay now for the challange. I stood up and faced Tetsuya. An object flew out from up there at high speed. It slamed into the wall. As it stoped I could see it was Lee. He stood there howevering slowly back to the upper area and our opnet. His arm looked twisted his cloaths were slightly torn and his mouth had blood leacking out. His sword was in hand was at rest.

His movement was slwoing down as he hovered and his flight path bevcame less stable until finally about half way there he feel out of the air and hit the ground. "Lee!" I ran over to him. He began to get up braceing his weight on his sword before falling to the ground once more. He shut his eyes and simply lay there.

"No... This isn't real..." Eiji's eyes were as wide as china plates, Eiji knew that Lee was in a critical state by just seeing how he slammed into the wall, now Eiji knew for sure he was facing something other than a human "You... You son of a bitch... You're going to pay!"

Eiji stared right into the black eyes of Tetsuya, "I don't care who you are Tetsuya or not, I'm gonna cut your head off and feed it to the hell houds!"
Eiji pulled out his sword, and let his wings rip right through his shirt.

Rikku and Lee

Rikku: I was up to him I lifted his head to me. I looked down at him. His lips formed a smile while his eyes were closed. What was he thinking? Around his neck was my necklace. He was safe.

His eyes opened and he looked at me. I saw him move his head to the side and look as though some one was there. He held his head up and looked at me. "I know.... who." His words became softer as he spoke before finally he closed his eyes and his head fell limp.

He'll be safe with that necklace. I'll heal him now, and hope he wakes up soon.

Lee: I won't be grounded for long. I stuck my sword tip in the groun and lifted myself with the sabre. My arm began to give way as I had used my power to fight. I fell to my knee's and landed on my face.

I was simply done for now. He wasn't Tetsuya no one changes there stlye that much. Also he knew my full style I never had to use all my power agaisnt Tetsuya so how could he know my moves so well? That smile wasn't his no it belonged to another face along with that laugh.

His face and body changed as I thought about those gestures. A older evil man came to mind. Katala! that who he is. I opened my eyes to find myself laying up faceing Rikku in the cave. A small black object was next to her.

I turn my head and focus there and a black hood takes place. Death is closer this time. A bit of a smile came to my lips. I turned back to Rikku very tired. "I know.... who...." he is.... It's katala... my mind slowly shut down at that point.

"You will die! No matter What it takes" Eiji ment that, he didn't care if Tetsuya killed him Eiji was going to make that he wouldn't harm anybody else. "Curse of the Raven King!!!" Eiji's eyes became crimson red, and the feathes on his wings beacame sharp, his hair turned black as well "If you're not afraid. COme and attack me!"

Tetsuru concentrated, furrowing her brow, and then she blinked.

"What's up?" asked Yoshiro.

"He's not Tetsuya... he's possessed... by an entity..." Tetsuru blinked again. "...named Katala."

Touji and Momiji looked surprised, while the three others merely looked bemused.

Momiji shook her head dazedly. "Principal Katala? Is that you?"

Touji glanced at Momiji and then at Katala. "He looks... strange."

Yamanaka stratched his head. "Your school must be pretty weird, Touji."

"Of course it's weird. We have a video game class." Touji shook his head. "Humph. Well, he doesn't look so tough."

WHAM! went Lee against the wall. He slumped, and as Lea rushed to him, he appeared to fall unconscious.

"...hmm," mused Touji.

Yoshiro sighed and shook his head. "What a joke. I can't die now... at least not for a few days." He cracked his knuckles. "I'm sorry, whoever you are, but I've got a couple more jobs to finish. So you'll have to die."

Tetsuru grimaced and slid into a fighting stance. "Whoever he is, he can't do this... steal another person's body. It isn't right. His power is amazingly strong, but... if we can't beat him, we'll never be able to... do what we need to do." She shook her head slowly. "Katala... prepare to be banished..."

Yoshiro stepped forward and smirked. Touji stepped forward to stand next to him, and then Momiji walked next to Touji, while Tetsuru moved to stand at Yoshiro's side. And then, walking through the middle, came Yamanaka.

The young boy smiled.

"Let's do this."

Cerberus gave an demonic growl while Mai maid an angered look. "Katala..."

"That son of a bitch does't die does he!?!"

"We have to kill him... But we can't hurt Tetsuya Cerbie."

"What if that isn't Tetsuya? What if Tetsuya's sould already went on?"

"Can we really take that Chance!?"

"Guess not..."

"I can't do anything Cerbie... please... Help Eiji."

I had sworn to do so when I first met you that I would serve you as an guardian for bothe you and Eiji... I'll do what I can."

"Its impossible, I can't do it He won't let me in side his body and soul!"

"Then what are you going to do?"

"there's only one thing I can do... I will give all of them my fighting energy, and fighting spirit, hopefully that will stop Katala..."

"Hopefully..."

***Back to the caves...***

An sudden bright flash of Energy filled the room, although it didn't seem to do anything, Cerberus had an strong feeling that some body was assiting them. "We'll take him out, NOW!"

 

[Jacobo_Curious]

K-Tetsuya floated gently to the ground and stood quietly. He appeared to be smiling.

"SEIKEN KYOKU!"

Yamanaka twisted, and a sword of pure energy blasted down at Tetsuya.

"ENERGY ARROW!"

Momiji focused, and her power bolt joined Yamanaka's attack.

"RYU EN BU!"

Touji whipped his hand around, and a surge of flame rushed forward at Tetsuya.

"SEA PEARL DRAGON!"

Slamming his fist into the ground in an effort to summon enough spirit to complete his powerful technique once again, Yoshiro managed yet another geyser of boiling water to slam against Tetsuya.

Surely he was weakened now, under attack from all four warriors.

"Now's the time," whispered Tetsuru. "Banishment!"

Summoning all her strength, Tetsuru felt the pain and the need and the energy from all her companions, and with the power of all that emotion, and the knowledge of the faith her companions had in each other and in her, she felt her power grow...

But it wouldn't be enough. More... she needed more.

And then she felt Eiji.

I... even after last night, I... wasn't completely sure... but now...

She felt her energy blaze.

Yes! I can do this!

"SOARING SPIRITS!"

The power, ready to eject Kalata from this plane of existence, surged forward.

The blast of power hit him straight on.

All the warriors stopped to watch as the dust began to clear.

And Tetsuru began to scream.

She grasped her head, weeping hysterically as she fell on her knees and shook her head rapidly.

All... this... emotion... what has he done to me!?

"Tetsuru!" cried Yoshiro, but the other four fighters turned, they were engulfed by the energy that they had all launched at Tetsuya, as it was reflected back at them. All four of them screamed simultaneously, and when the dust cleared, none of them remained standing.

"Fools," whispered K-Tetsuya. "Your power is not enough to break my iron will." He turned his glance to Tetsuru. "Was that your most powerful attack? How sad."

He was still smiling.

Choking and gurgling, writhing from the pain of her own emotional assault being turned against her, Tetsuru finally let darkness claim her, relief from the pain... and she collapsed, twitching...

"Tetsuru!" Eiji quickly ran up to her, and put her head on his knee "Speak to me Tetsuru!"

"I'll kill for what you done! Death Flame!" Cerberus open his two powerful jaws, letting out two huge lines of black flames, hitting Tetsuya, but for some reason, it had no effect.

"You stupid mutt... I should have killed you , WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE!" With one quick energy ball, Cerberus went flying into an wall. Cerberus gave an loud yelp before every thing went black for him

"Cerbie!" Mai said franticly knowing that it was over for him.

"Well, that leaves you, and the girls.nce I want to kille you last..." With one blink ofthe eye, An pile of rocks covered her completely.

Mai shot around and saw that Tetsuya was right in front of her. She gave an loud gasp and began to back away, her eyes in deep deep fear.

"Bang." Tetsuya let his hand make the common gun signal, he pressed his thumb on his index finger an red beam hit Mai right in the chest, making her fall to the ground.

"MAI!" Eiji was now crying, he couldn't help it, Every body he knew, cared about was now unconsius and very close to death "Damn you... Beacause of you, every bodie is gone... For every one you hurt, I will inflict it on you!"

"If you can even hurt me boy... You barely made it the last time we fought."

"Yeah, but the last time I was an arogent orphgan boy who didn't have anybodie to protect but my little sister.. But now... Now you did something you shouldn't have... Katala!"

"So you know Oh well... You will come near death just like the others!"

"I beg to differ!"

"Eiji quickly jumped at Katala, but before he could swing and go for the kill, he felt n extreamly powerful blow hit him in the back, sending him into the wall.. "An illusion trick!"

"Yes, the one I taught you all those years ago... Now... As for my revenge..." Katala's energy raised and focused into one spot, his hand that was right in front of Eiji. "Now... DIE!"

All Eiji saw next was White, then black...

"Where... where am I? Is this heavan, or is this hell?"
Eiji thought, franticly looking for the others "please say they survived..."

"Hello? Mai?! Tetsuru?! Lee?! Cerbie?! Toji?!" Eiji looked around, searching for every bodie, but nothing "Please... please say that they are alive!

"They are..."

Eiji looked behind him, and stared into the familar blue eyes, "Reese?"

"Yes Eiji... They are alive. And so are you."

"Then... Where am I?"

"In your mind, your deepest thoughts, you're in this state because I turned you into this state"

"Why?"

"So you will live... Eiji, I must ask you, do you want to live?"

Eiji stood silent, for such an long time, he wanted to die. To no longer live, to no longer have to worry about anything. To no longer have to argue with Mai, and to no longer be challenged to fights he didn't want to fight. But then his life taken an drastic turn when he went to Clock tower. Milo who seems to goten very close to him and Mai, Cerberus who could make Eiji break out laughing by just acting like himself. Lee who made Eiji want to be stronger, Rikku, who saved his life more than once. Then Touji, the person who use to piss Eiji off at the drop of an dime, but now he was his ally, a friend. Yoshiro, the person who he wantd to fight so badly. To see how his skills matched up to the redheaded warrior Thenn Tetsuru... It was hard for Eiji to sort out his emotions torwards her.

She was beautiful to him, one of the only people who gave him any kind of affection or respect. She reminded him of Mai. Maybe thats why he felt so connected to her. "Yes... I want to live..."

"Okay... I will revive Every bodie as best as I can, but do me on favor..."

"What?"

"Free My son's soul, even if that means killing him"

"His body will be gone, but hs soul will never die... Okay Reese... I will."

"Then close your Eyes, and relax..." Eiji did so, and he felt the white flash again.

***Cave***

Eiji sat up, shaking off the pain he felt, he was on the ground with only a few bruses and scratches. "I'mmm I'm okay... The others!"

The world was dark.

And then light was born, and two pairs of eyes blinked.

"Hello, my children."

The wizened old man smiled, but not with kindness -- rather, with the fervent joy of success.

"My name is Father. Can you say that?"

"F...father."

"F...f...father."

The old man grinned wider. "Good, my girl. Good, my boy. And your name is Tetsuru. And your name is Yoshiro. Can you say your names...?"

It was coming for him.

He spun, hunkered down, looking for it.

But there's a problem with an enemy that's always behind you.

No matter which way you turned, you couldn't ever see it.

Sometimes you wonder if you're imagining it...

...until it comes for you.

And it was coming for him.

"No," whispered Touji.

He shuddered, floating through blackness.

"Leave me BE, Beast!"

Something was coming.

"The darkness...?"

No... it wasn't dark... it was...

"Light...? There is no light inside my heart. Is there? Why?"

It was...

...Yamanaka.

"B-Brother!" whispered Touji.

He began to paddle forward through the darkness, dragging himself through the eternal void towards his unconscious younger brother...

Everything zipped past her, busy.

She paid no attention. She appeared to be strengthing herself.

Strong morals. Strong virtue. A good heart.

She was a wonderful girl.

She looked up.

"I don't want to be alone anymore."

Momiji lowered her head, and a tear trickled down her cheek.

"...somebody... love me... please..."

"Mai said her first word just three minutes ago!"

"Really?! What did she say?!"

"She said brother!"

The shodwy woman smiled and hugged Mai while picking her up "I',m not surprized... She is very sttached to you Eiji-kun...."

"Brother..."

For Mai, that was the only thing she remembered about her family, except for Eiji...

Howls came across the smaal field of grass on top of an moutain. "Tobias! You are strong now, we have done every thing for you. It is your choice, do you really want to travle along?"

"Yes Grandfather, it is my Choice, I sowrn to hunt down demons, and to find an home of my own."

"You are an decended from an long line of spirit wolfs. And you had Earned the nick name Cerberus for you flame abiliatys. now go, and make us proud young one!"

"I will, grandfather!" Cerberus Howl "I sowrn to protect my friends and family, And I had sword to slay all evil demons!"

Slowly, Cerberus woke up, and so did Mai, now Katala was in complete shock "H-How can this be?!"

Rikku and Lee

Rikku: Every one is defeated! "Oh crap." I stood up and in a fighting stance. "Lets see you handle me then." Lee better get up soon if he knows whats good for him. I use an echant to light my claws on fire. "Hot and sharp."

I rushed in and struck at him but he simply leaped over me and kicked me to the side. 'Oh it's the one that got away.' His voice was insulting me. 'Twice infact. Or was it I let you live because you weren't worth my time?'

"So you have bad taste." I aproach slower I kick for his head and he ducks I then punch for his chest but he side steps. 'Face it. You failed when you escaped turning yourself into a cat. Before that you feel in your careation of your avatar.' I swing my hands leaveing a trail of fire in the shape of an X. "Die." he steps back out of the range.

'For one with such magic patential you should have some control.' I lunge at him once more. "Why won't you die!" 'I am dead.' 'You aren't dead enough for my tastes.' Behind him I see Lee finally get up. 'Oh the overconfident warrior has goten up.' A suden and sharp pain overcomes me and I black out.

Lee: 'Why won't you die?' I opemn my eyes and grab my sword the fight is still going on. 'I am dead.' I stand up. "You aren't dead enough for my tastes." I stand fully erect and raise my sword. I must of been healed by Rikku.

'Oh the overconfident warrior has goten up.' Katala Kicks Rikku in the stumac and I hear the sounds of her ribs breacking before she flys into a distant corner out cold. "Rikku!" I run after her.

In the corner she lies barely breathing. She could die. I have to help her. The necklace! I take off the anti death charm and place it around her neck. "That'll keep her safe." I swing around and block Katalas blow with my sword. "Katala you lost your edge I know who you are now."

The blows go back and forth in a constant onslought until we break apart. Thats when Eiji get back up. Then one by one the fighters rejoin the fight. "Tetsuya please heal her." I gesture back behind me. "The fight has sifted Katala."

'I supose that what I get for playing with you. But still I am impressed twice now I've underestimated you. I supose now would be the time to see how much power Tetsuya's body can take!' He smiles and a blue glow forms around him.

"We can't let him revive! We have to seperate him from Tetsuya now!" Eiji yelled as he preapaired his sword.

"It will not be easy, but we have to kill his soul no matter what!"

"But how?" Before they figure an way, Katala shot an ball of energy, rising smoke into the air, making Eiji hack and cough "He...*Cough* He's trying to confuse us! Be on your gaurd!"

Lee

IC: Smoke screan? I can't do anything to remove it. But Eiji can. "Eiji use your wings to blow away the smoke." Eiji and I beat him last time. Theres no way he can take all of us. My sword was ready for this fight. I knew my foe and so did my blade. My actiosn were confuse before this time they are at there best and suported by the others. I won't fall again.

"Right!" Eiji let his wings flap harshly, as it bega to clear the area, Eiji noticed Katala was nowhere to be found "WHere is that Son of a..." Thwak! Eiji suddenly felt an pain in his back, and was sent flying ten feet ahead, he slid on the ground and came to an stop

"Worthless..."

Lee

IC: The smoke was blown away and slowly cleared. "Where is Katala?" Crap it's his stlye to atack from behind. I glance onver my should but he is not there I then look forward and he is behined Eiji.

"Ei..." I stop as Eiji slid across the floor. "Keep in mind who we are fighting. If we take him togeather he shouldn't be to tought."

 

[Jacobo_Curious]

Tetsuru rushed to Rikku, cradling her in her arms and feeding emotional energy into her. She watched helplessly from where Rikku lay as K-Tetsuya strode over to Eiji.

"You're finished, Moonlerion," he rasped. "So sorry."

"TETSUUUUUYAAAAAAA!!"

Surprised, K-Tetsuya turned to see Touji running at him.

"SHIKENDO!"

Touji rushed by, and a moment after he had passed Tetsuya suddenly felt the impact of a knifehand in his stomach. As he doubled over reflexively, Touji spun again, rage in his eyes.

"Return to who you were, fool! KAGEKEN!"

A bolt of soul and shadow engulfed Tetsuya, causing him to fall to his knees, only to receive a kick in the face.

"I'm stronger now," hissed Yamanaka. "HOUOU SHORYU!"

The purple dragon of energy lifted Tetsuya off his knees and threw him into the air. Groaning, his mind still spinning with surprise while Katala struggled for control of Tetsuya's weakening body, neither of them saw Momiji's Energy Arrow coming.

They felt it, though.

Tetsuya fell limply towards the ground, only to be intercepted by Yoshiro, who thrust his hand upward with a shout, slamming his knuckles into Tetsuya's sternum with a spurt of flame.

"FLAME CLAW!"

Tetsuya fell to the ground. Unconscious.

And then he began struggling to get up.

"Grrr! Katala, leave him in peace!" roared Touji, slamming his foot into Tetsuya and sending him to the ground again.

"He will."

Tetsuru smiled softly.

NOW is the time.

Energy began to ripple through the area, gathering to her once again. And once again, she felt Eiji...

She was ready. As long as he was here, she was ready.

"SOARING SPIRITS!!"

A circle of light formed around Tetsuya, and a stream of light shot upwards from it. Tinkling music came from nowhere, and the sound of chanting could be heard in the distance.

As the body slumped, the spirit rose.

And the image of Katala began to manifest...

Eiji stood up slowly as Katala's sould left Tetsuya's bodie, making Tetsuya himself. Eiji ran over and dragged Tetsuya out of the way, "Idiot, why would you go into a forest that is said to hold dark spirits anway! I oughta kill you myse- What the fuck!?!"

Insted of Katala's soul look like the timid butdangerous looking principal, Katala formed into an sadistic looking Serphent like beast. "I vowed to have my revenge on you two little punks, AND I MENT IT!!!"
