"Sparrow is going to stay, in the state of mind and his phsical condition could get him killed." Eiji said roughly, he knew that Sparrow was going to snap. But he had no coice but to leave him behind.

Eiji! how are you going to make him stay?! Mai ask mentaly, she gave an quick glance at Eiji

Don't worry Mai, I already delt with it...

*** ten minutes earlier ***

What do you mean I can't go?!

Sparrow listen to me, Tetsuya is extreamly dangerous, he whipped you around in what? a few seconds? Trust me, you don't want to try and fight him. Just stay here until we get back

Outside the hotel, Sparrow grolwed at the sky, furious. "Fine... I won't go... But you owe me!"

Yeah, yeah...

***

Don't worry about Sparrow Mai.

Lee

IC: I feel my self falling to the ground not expecting the shock. I tire to gain balance but Rikku is on me. I feel my back hit the round hard and arch under the pressure as it bounces up into the air quickly before landing.

Every ohne walks from the room except me and Rikku. I have my hands locked against her wrist trieing to keep her from my throat. "I''l be right behind you guys." I look at them while strugleing against Rikku.

Eiji had an sweet dropping from his face as he saw Rikku was desperately trying to kill Lee. Eiji shook his head tiredly, and walked out of the door sighing.

***

"Damnit!" Milo yelled at the empty sky, fustrated. he finnaly had enough of searching for nothing, tired of running from the hidden force that cowered by behind an invisible force field. An black and crimson red glow emited from Milo's battered body

"Eplosion!!!" An huge orb of red energy hit the force field as if it was an homming missile, forcing the ield to explod and shatter.

Lee

IC: Lee: I was walking threw the woods some how I was picked to be there person at the front that could be attacked by Tetsya at any time. Holding the note in hand I began to look for the cave that the note mentioned at it's end. The last thing it ralks about is a cave and it says Tetsuya will be inside with Milo.

"When we get to the cave prehaps we shouldn't all go inside. Tetsuya could be planing to blow the entrence and trap us all inside." I gazed for ward and there was the cave. In a way I felt a bit stupid now. The caves mouth was to big to be blown shut by him. I looked around and quickly noted the strange shape of this cave it was shaped in the mouth of a deamon. Protudeing out of the cave I could sense a dark power.

"Eiji, this feels the same as the clock tower dosen't it?"

'When we get to the cave prehaps we shouldn't all go inside. Tetsuya could be planing to blow the entrence and trap us all inside.' Eiji slowly nodded, "Maybe we should. Yakanama, Mai, maybe you two stay..."

"I'm not staying Eiji"

Eiji looked back at his sister, and just by the look on his sisters face, he knew that it would be impossible to argue with Mai. "Alright..."

'Eiji, this feels the same as the clock tower dosen't it?'

Eiji didn't even notice they were at the tower until they Anno said something, he also felt an evil aroua comming from the cave. "No... The energy isn't familar to the tower... It has an Familar energy to something, but I can't put my fingure to it..."

Lee

IC: "If you say so." I looked into the cave. Him looks kinda dark and forbodeing. "So um... who wants to go in first?"

Eiji did his best not to laugh "Oh, is the great Anno afraid to go in first?" Eiji said in an mocking tone, Cerbie just snickered at the remark.

Lee Anno

IC: 'Oh, is the great Anno afraid to go in first?' "Let's see now. Dark cave that looks like a place in hell. Evil power I some what recanise. My friend is traped in there. I don't think it's a matter of curage as much of IQ."

Eiji shook his head and sighed "Look, after what we had been through the past few moths, are you still saying you're scared?" Eiji walked forward and into the cave. He looked around for an few seconds "Nothing out of the ordinary in here!"

"Boo."

Eiji glanced back over his shoulder, finding to his surprise that Yoshiro was standing behind him, even farther into the darkness of the cave.

"I'll go first."

Yoshiro crouched down, and whispering something to himself, seemed to fade into the shadows, the darkness rising up at his command to cover him as he padded as silently as a hunting cat.

Tetsuru shook her head at her brother's bravado and placed an arm around Lee's shoulders.

"Lee, hun, if you scared of the dark, I heard that sometimes whistling a familiar tune helps. Maybe we can all hold hands and sing a song, and we'll feel safer." She smiled kindly, but amusement danced in her eyes.

"I'm not very good at singing," admitted Touji.

"Touji can dance though!" cried Yamanaka. "He took ballet lessons!"

"Shut up!" snapped Touji. "That was for grace and poise!"

"Sheesh, even I never took ballet lessons," murmured Momiji, shaking her head.

"You don't have to rub it in," he grumbled.

"Get serious, fools!" snapped an invisible Yoshiro from the mouth of the cave. "We're going in!"

Touji and Yamanaka frowned, irritated, but Momiji merely sighed and Tetsuru rolled her eyes.

Tetsuru stepped forward, clasping Eiji's arm with a soft smile. "Eiji-chan, I'm ready whenever you are..."

Looking him in the eyes, it was still hard to repress a faint blush.

I wonder why I chose Eiji over Lee, really? Do I like the strong, silent type because of my brother? Lee was romantic, but... I think Eiji really does care about me... and I'm sure Lee has been with other girls. The unrefinedness of Eiji... that's what I like... his lack of smooth words...

...and, of course, his martial arts ability! He's even stronger than Yoshiro-kun! I adore you, Eiji-chan...

Momiji turned her head to smile at an embarassed Lee. "Lee, are you ready? We were only teasing." She blushed slightly herself, but Touji looked steadfastly ahead, pretending not to notice...

Lee et Rikku

Lee: I'm not scared! God damn it I'm not scared! I kept a calm look while I thought that. Tetsuru came up and grabed my hand. 'Lee, hun, if you scared of the dark, I heard that sometimes whistling a familiar tune helps. Maybe we can all hold hands and sing a song, and we'll feel safer.' She wants to hold hands? "If you want to hold hands I'll ask you out some time latter on. I did make a promise and all." I let go of her hand and walked into the dark.

Momiji came up to me. 'Lee, are you ready? We were only teasing' "Okay I am not afreaid of the dark." I noticed her slight blush. Was she blushing for me, or was it ment for Touji, damn I bet she's blushing because of what I said to Tetsuru. I stoped and thought about this for a second or two.

I rushed up ahead and even in the dark recanised Momiji I took her hand and held it. "I'm sorry."

Rikku: I had walked into the cave with every one else. I was towards the back of the crowd Lee stoped and I past him up. A few seconds latter he cought up took my hand tenderly and apologised. He wa sorry about the cat and the role I understood he had feelings for me.... but still I'm supose to be his sister her has he forgoten that? I didn't say a thing afraid to draw atention to us from the others.

'Get serious, fools!' Eiji and Mai stared at the Invisible Yoshiro's direction, both of them stared sadisticly at him and at the same time thought Oh would I love to kick his ass!

Eiji smiled and nodded to Tetsuru, Why did I let her come with me? I don't want her to get hurt... I don't want my sister to get hurt, I don't want anybody to get hurt. But I had no choice... Every single one of them are as stubborn as an mule! Eiji thought quickly to himself. He quickly brushed it aside knowing that they all could defend themselfs, but something still told him that someone or something is much stronger than them.

K-Tetsuya

IC: "Hmm they are now all in the cave." I watched Milo do his explosion and move forward. "I can deal with him at my lesuire. For now." Faces the mist forming a picture of the others now in the cave. "Oh do I have suprises for you."

I wave my hand and the mouth of the cave shuts firmly closed. "And look at this boy out front. He thinks he's safe hideing in the shadows. Now what shall I atack them with. I know skeletons." Skeletons are eyeless sense there prey with magic. They may not last long but with suprise on there side and a little luck, I'll see some blood.

I wave my hand and 25 skeletons jump out of the ground. This will be fun when they notice them.

Eiji sharply turned his head as the demons mouth shut close behind them "Well... That is surprizing..." Eiji muttered silently as he went to check if there was an way to open it. "Its shut tight... Somebody doesn't want us to leave..."

Mai sudenly heard hollow and scrapping foot steps comming closer "Uh... Guys? Something is comming!" Mai stammered as the scrapping beca,me louder, and louder, until it came to an halt.

Cerberus of course, was curious of the heavenly scent that was invading his nose, it looked a bit forward, but saw nothing. Then the hollow scrapping began to become distant again, like it was afraid. "I smell... I smell BONES!" Cerbie exclaimed as he rushed forward like an eager little puppie. An sudden crash was heard and both Eiji and Mai ran to see what happened.

"Uh... I got carried away?" Was the only thing poor Cerbie could say as he laid in an pile of bones. "Get off me!" Said one of the skulls.

"Carried away is an under statement..." Mai said as she covered hers with one hand and shook her head sighing.

"Oi..."

As soon as Cerberus tackled a skeleton, the rest began to rise from the ground, clawing their way up from the earth dramatically.

Sighing, Yoshiro reappeared as he tore into one of the skeletons, cracking bones in half and smashing the skull against the cave wall. "How boring," he muttered, ignoring a claw swiping at him to begin to pound another skeleton into dust, even before the others began to get organized.

"Lots of them," murmured Tetsuru. "Stand back!" She rushed to the front of the group and spread her arms wide.

This has been for healing, the last few times I've used it, but... I think it's more a focus than anything else... so if I just... urrrgh!

She clenched her teeth, and a bead of sweat dribbled down her forehead, before she finally stepped back and shouted. "SOARING SPIRITS!"

The twenty-odd skeletons suddenly froze in place -- and a blue mist began to emanate from them. As Tetsuru continued to concentrate, the beings began to collapse one by one, and the other fighters thought they could even hear sighs of relief...

The buxom girl fell to her knees with a heavy sigh. "Their spirits have been freed from their shells," she murmured, shaking her head. She glanced at Touji. "Since when has Tetsuya been able to capture the spirits of the dead?"

Touji narrowed his eyes. "This can't be Tetsuya... he doesn't have the force of will to deal with this sort of thing... something greater is at work here."

Momiji stepped forward to stand next to Tetsuru, offering her friend a hand. "Everyone, be careful," she murmured quietly. "Let's stick together and stay safe."

Yoshiro, now visible, shrugged and turned away. "I'm safe with or without you guys." He continued to walk down the tunnel.

Momiji glanced back at Lee, smirking slightly as she saw Lee holding his sister's hand. He's a sweetheart... I'll have to talk to him. I might want to... apologize for last night. I still don't quite know what came over me, though I feel a bit better... I need to know what he expects from me though... because I'm not sure what I want...

Then, much to her surprise, she felt someone grasping her hand tightly. Eyes wide, she turned, to see Touji smiling slightly at her.

"You be careful too," he said quietly. "Let's keep each other safe, alright?"

"Of course, Touji," she responded, a bit breathless from her surprise. "You can trust me..."

Can he? Didn't I just cheat on him?

No, I didn't cheat on him if he didn't want me in the first place. But if he ever wants me... I'll be here... and even if he never does... I'll be his friend.

Tetsuru shook her head and glanced at Eiji. "Eiji dear, I'm sorry for my brother's behavior... but can we move on before he gets himself killed? I'd kind of miss the big lug."

Eiji smiled and shook his head "I would have said the same thing at first..." Although I would like to knock some sence into your brother... Oh geez! I'm starting to think like Anno! Eiji definetly was worried about himself now.

"We better get going before he does get himself in trouble" Eiji said almost reluctedly, he wanted to see how "All Mighty Yoshiro "survive the cave from hell, but he knew it wouldn't be good for Tetsuru if Yoshiro got hurt.

"Thanks, hun..."

Standing on the tips of her toes, Tetsuru leaned up and planted a soft kiss on Eiji's cheek.

She walked a few steps forward, her tight blue hakima pants swishing, before she turned her head and smiled.

"Let's go, folks..."

<<--->>

Yoshiro trudged forward, hands in his pockets.

Stupid kids. They should just stay behind and take care of Lea. I'll crush this whoever-it-is, get what's-his-name back, and then we can go do the really important stuff...

Obviously, Yoshiro didn't enjoy being sidetracked.

A trap sprung and a heavy stone block dropped from the ceiling, but Yoshiro reflexively punched upward and shattered the stone with the force of his attack.

"Pathetic," he muttered, and moved on, unaware that his actions were being watched closely by K-Tetsuya...

"Yeah, sure..." Eiji said shoving his hands in his pockets. "Although I oughta let his ass get kicked so he could learn a lesson or two..." Muttered to himself, he said it in such a low tone, so that nobody could hear. Except for Cerbie of course, and he agreed.

***

Milo blindly tried to find an way out of the cave, he was in serious pain from the beatings he took from Tetsuya, "I know who you really are now!" Milo said, he lossed his balance and dropped to his knees, but he stood back up and limbed his way forward again. "Damnit! Why don't you leave me alone!" He yelled as he turned around and walked back to the area he woke up in.

"I swere... You WILL die Katala! I swere it on my life!

"I have business to take care of. I don't have time to fight with you. Get out of my way."

Predictably, the steel golem didn't respond.

"THEN DIE WHERE YOU STAND!

FLAME CLAW!"

Yoshiro tore into the artificial being, sending it stumbling back, but it recovered with an amazing speed -- obviously magically enhanced. It slashed downward with its sword, and Yoshiro grunted, unable to pull away in time after his technique, so the blade cut a long cut across his torso. He ignored the terrible bleeding and gritted his teeth, stepping back.

Whoever this Tetsuya guy is, surely he doesn't have the magic to animate a steel golem. Or know necromancy, a completely different field...

Urggh, this would be easier with help...

"SEA PEARL DRAGON!"

Slamming his hand into the ground, the cave floor cracked and superheated boiling water gushed forth in the shape of a dragon, knocking the steel golem to the ground and rusting it instantly while causing the metal to bubble at the same time.

Another Flame Claw, and the golem was nearly shredded and had resolidified into a brittle mass.

"Mars Rocket!"

Yoshiro twisted back, prepared himself, and then shot forward at an incredible speed, shattering the golem once and for all.

Killing a steel golem by oneself is no easy feat.

He slumped to his knees.

"Nnngh..."

Shaking his head, he got up and continued to walk forward, summoning his reserves and gathering the air around him to restore his energy, using what abilities he had over the elements to covert the elements around him into positive life force.

I think I'll last long enough to beat, oh, three more of those. But it's not as if I can trust these guys to do the work for me. I'll handle this and we'll get to the matter at hand...

Yeah. Hopefully, there won't be more than two or three more monsters...

Right on cue, four rock golems removed themselves from the cave wall, surrounding Yoshiro on both sides, cutting off his escape.

The large boy slumped his shoulders.

"Nnnnnngh."

"Dust Storm!" An sudden Grey cloud envelopped the golems and before long, the golems stopped in their tracks unable to see where they are going. "Rise of the Blue Phoenix!" An flame emitted from the air and smacked all of the golems, but it seemed to have no effect what so ever

Eiji stood there slightly tired from the two spells he just used, they were very new to him and his body never really adjusted to them. "Why didn't the RBP effect them?!"

"They must be fake spirits, an necromancer can clone a spirit and make it his or her complete slave!"

Mai turned her head to Cerbie "So you're saying these are just fake souls? And revives wouldn't have any effect?"

"Exactly"

"Oh now you tell me!" Eiji said, obviously aggrivated that he wasn't warned sooner. He suddenly felt an huge fist send him flying into an wall, and for an split second he was knock out cold.

All three

K-Tetsuya: "Hmm my steel golem was defeated." I waved my hand releaseing four more golems. Weaker ones made of stone. "Still it was a nice test. They have no clue what I have instored for them." I turn around and face the area Milo was at. "What were the odds that your group would show up as I just finish my tool of vengence?" I glance back at the mist displaying the others meeting Yoshiro and the golems. "I do think I'll regret not destroying them with my own two hands."

"As for you Milo. You've served your purpose once more. Prehaps I will restore Maki to your body as I torcher you later. he should suffer for his failure." No thats more energy then it's worth.

Lee: I let go of Tetsuru's hand and jumped into the air landing on the golems arm. As I ran up the stone gaints arm I drew my sabre. I fliped the blade out ward and drove it deep into the monsters stone eye. The clay there would be softer, the maker would have to make it softer for it to be so mobile.

As my blade sunk deep into it's head I began to pull to the side sliceing my way out. I then slashed back in for another attack.

Edited: to write Lee's actiond in more detail.

Eiji slowly picked himself off the ground groaning. "Ch-cheap shot!" Was the only thing he could utter out of his mouth at the moment as another golem made an attempt to smash Eiji's body into the wall. Eiji quickly rolled out of the way just before he was hurt, and as soon as he stood up and had the chance, he swiftly pulled out his sword and threw it at the attacker. But insted of cutting right through him, it bounced right off and stuck into an wall "Shit..."

***

Meanwhile Mai was trying to keep her distance from the battle as she knew she couldn't really do anything to help as she never really developped any skills. Cerbie on the other hand, was playing ring around the rosie with one of the golems. Mai franticly looked around trying to find out who's in trouble and who's not. Eiji... where are you?

***

Just before the golem could hurt him, Eiji jumped on the fist and ran up the arm and rpidly kicked the rock's head. It slowly began to fall but it quickly regain its balance and chucked Eiji off easily. He quickly rolled to regain his balance and held onto the wall until the world around him stopped spinning.

Lee et Rikku

Rikku: Well I bet Lee is happy I enchanted his sword before this. A golem moved toward me and I simply hoped back to avoid being infront of it. I doubt I could put a dent in that thing with out useing my enchants, and I wish to save them for latter. I have a feeling healing powers will be needed here.

Lee: I pulled out my enchanted blade from the half headed golem. I then took to the air and stabed the golem Eiji was faceing in it's cycloptic eye. I pulled the blade up threw and out before moveing to the next. "Attack the craks! They should be much weaker once there shell begins to crack!"

"I'v been trying to do that, but those things are much quicker than an regular golem..." Eiji studied for an weak point where the golem couldn't strike him so quickly. "The hind leg... Lee! Go for the back of the legs, they can't make an ful 180 as quick as we can!" Eiji pushed himself off the wall and bolted to where his sword laid. and pulled it out. "Damaged, damn!" With out hesitation, Eiji pulled the blade out, cutting himself, but he didn't care, he rather get hurt himself than anybodie else.

"Feather Blade!" with an white glow emitting from scabber, the infamous blade appered where the broken pice of metal broke. Eiji gave an sigh of relife. "It didn't take as much energy as it used to...." Eiji suddenly heard an shreik emit from his little sister's mouth. He turned to see that an golem was slowly walking torwards her and Yamanaka, And Cerbie was knocked down. "Stay away from her!"

"Uweehhh..." grunted Yamanaka, not pleased about where this was going. "Stay back, Mai!"

"SEIKEN KYOKU!"

A blazing sword erupted from Yamanaka's hands, darting forward and up and then slashing downward with a burst of pure planetary energy, cleaving the golem sharply... but only splintering the rock slightly.

Gritting his teeth, Yamanaka shook the nervous sweat from his eyes as the monster continued to approach. "HOUOU SHORYU!" A burst of purple energy in the shape of a dragon launched forth from the ground and blasted the golem heavily. It stumbled back, just as Eiji rushed to save his sister, and leaping into the air, Eiji cut the golem in twain, causing it to crumble, now "lifeless".

Tetsuru shook her head, placing her hand on Eiji's shoulders. "Eiji, I'm impressed by that technique you attempted, that, um, Rise of the Blue Pheonix," she said, obviously unaware that Cerberus had already notified Eiji of the difficulties, "but animated beings are not risen by pure soul, as the undead or planar beings are. I'm not sure if I can do this... but I WAS taking a class in enchanting items... so I might be able to weaken them. Give me a moment."

Turning, her eyes widened as she saw Yoshiro thrown against the wall by an irate rock golem, so she immediately began casting the spell. Frantically weaving various threads together in her own mind, trying to make sure her various commands didn't get tangled up while still constructing something vaguely resembling what she wanted, she knew she was ready when a few short words came to mind with a blast of enlightenment:

"Find peace, you unliving! MACHINE'S GRAVE!"

The banishment magic rippled through the air, causing the living beings there to merely feel a tingle, but the two golems remaining were wracked with pains. They stumbled and quivered, but still remained standing.

"I'm not strong enough," panted Tetsuru. "Finish them...!"

Touji grimaced, helping Yoshiro to his feet, as Momiji stepped forward, a glint of fury in her eyes.

"Vengeance Dash!"

She rushed forward, slamming powerfully into a rock golem, and it shattered, finally dying. She fell to her knees, wincing as she rubbed her arm (running into stone hurts, you know), and as the remaining golem began to recover, Touji and Yoshiro both got to their feet.

"MARS BROTHERS!"

Completely their dual technique, the two strong boys stepped forward, crouching with muscles tight, before they burst forth, both slamming into the golem, and both appearing to go THROUGH the golem as an explosion of purple and red light shuddered against it... and it shattered as well.

Tetsuru slumped to her knees, wiping her forehead. "I think I need to work on my endurance," she whispered, smiling weakly. "Coming up with techniques in times of need is... very difficult... and I never thought that enchantment class would really come in handy..."
