Just a lot of work - long hours and no overtime pay (damn me for accepting a salary position!! What was I thinking?).
Oooh - exciting new thing is that we just hired a cake & pastry chef for our wedding. She's making us a custom cake... VERY exciting. She's even going to hand-paint Filigree designs on the frosting in a shiny pearl color so that the cake sparkles with a hint of design when the light hits it. And... it shall be delicious. Each tier is going to be different. The base will be Bananna Nut Cake, the middle will be Chocolate cake filled with whipped truffles (oh my freakin' goodness... it is SO good), and the top will be white cake filled with mixed berries.
And that's about it, in a nutshell.
