I’m so old I remember…

ISOIR: pay phones and phone booths. And always needing ¢10 to call my first girlfriend.

ISOIR: “call back at night, when the rates are cheaper.” Long distance calls were expensive and a big deal. I don’t even think long distance is a thing anymore.

Calling long distance during the day would cost a small fortune.

ISOIR having to go to CVS to buy 35mm film, loading my pain in the ass camera that often didn't catch and feed, taking slutty selfies with no idea what I actually captured, going back to CVS to drop off the roll for developing, picking them up the next day from Glenn the CVS guy, sorting through for one that didn't suck, then finally hand delivering them the next day. The struggle of selfies with pouty lips and bare tits was very real.

You ever see that creepy Robin Williams movie One Hour Photo? For some reason reminds me of this.

Understandable. Some of your stories and memories from 90s are at times so familiar it seems like just maybe we hung out but again wild old days.
never know, I was probably the chick in a crop top, ripped flair jeans, with a bottle of vodka, not actually paying attention to the Gator talk and was really just there for the jello shots. I am sure that narrows it down to like 80% of the chicks lol.

Yep there was a few of you. Most of my Gville times were alcohol fueled spent around shows at Hardback and Covered Dish.

It wasn't that long ago. They started expanding in the 70s and 80s, but it wasn't until the late 80s to early 90s that most people across the country would be aware of them.

I hear you. My dad had a pharmacy. He made good money. About the time big chains started up, the 70s, he was robbed at gun point, told if he didn't hand over all his narcotics, he would get to watch my brother's brain explode. My dad's business didn't recover. Neither did my dad.
