I have all the answers

just how does one remove blood from clothing????

Actually, hydrogen peroxide works on colored clothing too, as long as you are careful with it and use a q-tip or something to only get it on the blood (from experience - my blues were splattered from neck to knee due to a jerk of a dr who wasn't looking when he decided to empty the syringe). My scrubs didn't fade at all.

Unfortunately, that is the only answer that lowly little me has :p

Just wanted to post something in what looks a fun thread, as I am working on my 10th post I actually thought this thread might be right to post something in...
Right now I don't really have a question, though I'd be grateful for some hints on getting more posts ;) Or just anything I should know about this board...

At first I wanted to ask what the acronym LASER stood for, but after reading all that crap about colors on paper vs colors refracted from real objects, I figured I better leave well enough alone... So laser can be a bonus question, but I really wanted to know....

I have hundreds upon hundreds of CDs. Burns, origionals, programs, music, and video content. All are very valuble to me, but I have too many to store. To the immidiate right of this screen is a stack of jewel cases (with one or two cds each), and two stacks of about 100 cds. There are more on the floor, in a cd binder and yet more in their origional cases in two different boxes, each containing 50 or so.

My question is this: should I get that tacky-assed CD wallpaper?

Well, I dkon't understand what you mean by wallpaper, but if it's "tacky-assed, I'd say maybe not.

Perosnally, I categoriiize my CDs to "Frequent use", keep nearby, "make backup copy" and "storage". I use the round cases the CDRs come in for most of my bulk, with a label on the outside each as to what's inside. The more valuble CDs are in their own jewel cases, of course, with backups in "storage", just in case.

I don't have hundreds upon hundreds, but I do have several hundred, for sure. When someone has as many as you, a system is quite ncessary.

Don't watch your post numbers. It will only drive you batty. Post when you feel like it, and don't piss anybody off, for a while. At least until you've gained some solid friends. :)

After that, you'll always have that nucleus to fall back on. They'll watch your back. ;)

Thanks DVS, they are curretnly organized as follows:

Music I purchased: HILTI fireproof Box
Games I purchased: Harley-Davidson Cardboard Box
CDs I aquired when my pedophile roommate went to jail and the cops took my computer: In His (now mine) CD Binder
Other: stacked here and there

I agree with your backup idea, but my burner was in the computer that is now in the possesion of the Placer County Sherrif's Dept. And If I could get ahold of some CD-blank spindles, I would have these better sorted..

Leave the wallpaper out.

I used to know what LASER was but I've forgotten now. However, I do know what the acronym for TWAIN is. Do you? ;-)

Thanks! :rose:
I am not trying to piss anybody off as I'm quite a peaceful person... ;)

Not watching post numbers probably will have the other benefit of leaving me able to do something else than reading and posting...
Anyway, I'm just starting to get some responses, which is fun, so I will stick around for a bit more (until my darling locks my notebook and his so I get some studying done... ;) )

I guess lots of people post to that word association game to boost their post count. You can try that.

Don't pay attention to your count until you reach 9,510.

I did look at it, but it didn't seem incredibly funny (no offense meant). And then I guess I just don't want to add the same couple of words...
Maybe in another 2 or 3 years I will reach that limit to start counting, but on my second day it might be a bit early to even think about it...
I just saw your trying to get 10 000 and thought, well, 10 shouldn't be such a problem :)
I really want to get rid of the "virgin", though

Dear ADR,

I'm home from work for lunch. Should I go back and attempt to look like I'm working or should I just take a nap? Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

You can never say I didn't do my part to help you run up your post count. heh

In fact, I just woke up from it. I'm going back now because I got paged. Dammit, don't they know I need my beauty rest???

Lol, Rose, 10,000 is quite a bit, but if you'll look at a guy named Cgraven, he has 21,008 posts, and he's probably not even the top runner for number of posts.

30 posts will get rid of the virgin thing. Do a little bit of mass posting and you're there.

I was excited to hit 1000 so I could change the status thingy to being personalized lol

What is the mean ko/s?

I don't know if this was for me or not, but it goes without saying that you've stumped me. I'm surprised that someone else hasn't chimed in with the answer.

Nobody else knows either. Maybe you should just make up an answer and be real confident about it.
