Impeachment

I see you're getting your mileage out of that pic.

You must be at a loss for big-boy words...

Impeachment is just a move of division and vindictiveness....a wank for the OMB/TDS crowd, nothing more.

Seems a bit of projection to me for a guy who has no argument against what was posted.........but is angered by the truth of what was posted enough to respond.

They cannot wait a week and a half - a polity of instant gratification
due to the complete inherent inability to delay it...

... the polity of a child's expectation.

Define Trumptard...

Just someone who cannot match your level of hatred?

Yeah yeah we get it, Squanto, Trump's failed CoupKluxKlan putsch attempt was four DAYS ago and we should just GET OVER IT.

I hate to break it to you, but the anger of these people predate Trump
and were the power behind his first election. These are the people who
feel forgotten, ignored and impugned
because they are not sufficiently
"woke" enough to the emerging cancel culture that desires above all else
to crush the belief system of nearly half of the nation
because it is an
embarrassment to the new "woke;" old-fashioned, a relic of religion.

All you have to do is peruse a few of these threads and that
sort of hateful rhetoric stands out like a sore thumb from the
supporters of the Democrat Party and its ironic (even moronic)
stated policy of "inclusion and acceptance..."

I am actually with you on this.

Moreover: But for the paid agitators and thugs and far Right and those prepared ahead,
I don't see 1/5th of those who impulsively stormed the Capitol as antisocials.

I see them as having done an unacceptable -outrageous thing and deserving of jail.
BUT they were driven by good intentions (in their mind, they WEREN'T the ones who were orchestrating a coup d'etat, they were the ones who were trying TO STOP ONE , as they believed that the election results were fraudulent).

I pity them actually, because some were desperate/well-intended folks who acted out of poor judgment and ruined their lives.

This was a reaction not so much in support of Trump as it was a
backlash against..."

But where I disagree on, is your view of Trump.

HE incited them; even Ben Shapiro was outraged by Trump's speech at the rally.

Trump has a responsibility towards those people whom he riled up and whose lives are now ruined. Why should only they go to jail (rightfully so), and not Trump?

I have yet to see any evidence of paid agitators.

It was just a large gathering of people, some of them angry,
some disappointed, some wanting to be part of history,
but mobs don't act as individuals, they create
a life of their own; left and right.

Who knows what will spark any gathering of impassioned citizens.
We saw enough of that over the summer...

To what point? To what good?

Do Democrats want unification or retribution?

This has to be the dumbest idea of the New Year.
There are better things for Congress to be doing.

Hahahaha! Would you invite someone that broke into your house, laid pipe bombs around, trashed it, spread feces around it, burgled it and bludgeoned your security guard to death in for a cup of tea a few days later?

We know exactly what and whom sparked them, sparky.

I hold the Left's rhetoric every bit as leading to the unrest as Trump's.
He didn't start the verbal slugfest, I mean you could attribute that tar-baby
to Hillary Clinton talking about the basketfuls of Deplorables.

It's the way the Left continually speaks about any opposition it encounters.
Respect is not a hallmark of their political machinations, they prefer to denigrate.

It's the Left that bandies about terms like Nazis and Hitler towards their fellow citizens.

Calling a mostly peaceful protest is a coupkluxklan putsch attempt??

Hyperbole much?? :D

Look how mad she gets at mostly peaceful protesters when they aren't black...how totally NOT shocking. :D

Paid agitators and infiltrators?
EVERY movement in history had them. Politicians and Intels would be morons not to infiltrate them.
I learned that after listening to Chris Hedge's description of the paid infiltrators who sidetracked the Occupy Wall Street movement towards mayhem.

I'm sure that both the protests 6 months ago and this one ran amok because of paid agitators and the antisocials and morons that inevitably join every movement.

I have yet to see any evidence of paid agitators.

And there was nothing spontaneous about the decision to enter the Capitol in order to stop Biden's confirmation.

It had been orchestrated ahead.

Spontaneous were just the unfortunate ones whom I pity -- the ones who got caught up in the moment and joined the initiators, thinking that THEY are the ones stopping a coup d'etat..

No matter how adamantly you repeat a claim, it does not make it a valid claim.

Do you have any real evidence, or is this all just conjecture.

I don't usually give credence to Leftist journalists or presenters,
but Rachel Madow brought very plausible evidence that security around the Capitol was made lax Before the rally.

I don't believe in gaffes or incompetence when it comes to such key positions. It was deliberate, not an oversight.

Again, that's because they expect violence from the Left, but not the Right.

You have to push pretty damned hard for them to react in such a way.
Not so much for the Left, it's their goto threat...

There are so many anti-American,anti- government people out there...some so extreme and radical all you have to do is wind them up and with all the shit in the last twelve months..I guess we are lucky this is all that has went down.

Now I don't doubt that outside powers and people might be financing the people doing the winding...

Impeachment is divisive only to those who support Trump's coup and don't want to side with those who see it for what it is and believe it's just too egregious and threatening to the future of the nation not to take the step of decisively hammering it. Only those supporting the coup attempt can see impeachment as divisive.

We can clearly see which board posters are part of the coup attempt.

I don't get the delays. The House should have voted Friday morning, the Senate Friday afternoon. He should be gone by now. He is a 'clear and present danger' as long as he can issue orders to the Pentagon.
