I grew up in Elwood and now my mother and aunt live in Alex, so I know exactly where it is. not to date myself, but we used to cruise over there when we got tired of the 'L' About the time they started ticketing people for cruisin'. The man is from here, so we moved.
No big plans tonight. We've just returned from some friends' house where he was fixing a pc, now we're hanging with the kids. Such excitement in my life. Just waiting for the ball to drop so I can send them to bed and have my fun.

LOL, yeah, drive through elwood all the time when I go to visit my parents and back ... but I really am glad to be out of that pit ... I can't believe that you used to actually cruise there though - there isn't really any place TO cruise in Alex ... it's too small ...

Its nice if you like small town living. Theres just not much to do there. Could be why they had the 2nd highest teen pregnancy rate in the state at 1 point. Elwood had the 'L' to cruise. Dairy Queen to Main St down to Hardees and back to DQ. Alex just had a square, literally. I didn't mind the small town, but I didnt like the small minds. Maybe when I'm old.......

Yeah, tell me about it ... can you imagine if anyone in Alex found out that one of their top students, honor roll, never in trouble and all that ... became a bisexual Dominant??? *falls off chair laughing, picks self up and wipes eyes dry* yeah, I can just see my old teachers and the little old ladies at church ... "you do what?? with who??? *faint*"

Yea I know what you mean. My HS teachers might buy it though. I went a bit wild in those years. But no one would have guessed sub with bi tendencies! So I keep it quiet with a few close friends knowing and thats it. Well the gf knew, but she went and got married. BUmmer!

Looking back on those years .. I'm ashamed of how tame I was - although it makes life easier now ... even if I told all of the people I knew back then, most of them wouldnt' believe it LOL. Now, my girlfriend ... people would believe it of her, but she was a hellion

*sigh of relief* I really am glad to be out of there - not that Lafayette/West Lafayette is all that much better in terms of being open minded, but at least we are more anonomous here with more people.

Elwood is between Alexandria and Tipton. Class 3A for football I think. Theres a sign at the edge of town that says so. lol

Elwood is north of Anderson and Indianapolis, and east of Tipton - if that helps any.

Okay well the school we played was called Edgewood but the town was by a different name. We played them for secitional champs in 96 and beat them on a cold and snowy night
