Woohoo! I am malcah and I survive on 2 - 3 hours of sleep. It's amazing I'm not dead yet.

Now I have to take a shower and then leave to do my volunteer job at the World Youth Day. God, had I known volunteering involved arriving somewhere at 6 am, I wouldn't have done so...
I didn't fall asleep allright, though, but that was more because it was 2 hours earlier than my usual sleeping time because I knew I would have to get up incredibly early.Bandit58 said:I used to do that - fall asleep ok but wake at 3 or 4am and be unable to nod off again. My brain would switch itself on and thoughts would be going round and round.....for a good 2 hours or moreEventually I'd fall asleep again but wake up feeling woozy and like I'd had hardly any sleep at all.
I have since been told that can be a sign of stress. I was in an unhappy marriage at the time and eventually developed a stomach ulcer. The doctor asked me if I was under any stress.....I didn't know how stressed out I really was until then.
Since I've been with Master I sleep much better (though He is an insomniac!) Sure I am under a bit of stress with His illness and state of health but love seems to have cancelled it out![]()

Right now I feel like socking that dancing banana in the smilies box off to my right in its stupid grinning mouth and giving it some dental pain.

graceanne said:What you have is called 'restless leg syndrom'. My grandma has it. It's a sleeping disorder, if I remember right. But then you probably knew that much. I don't remember much, but I found a links on it for you.

Their is medicine that can help, if I remember right. Talk to your doctor.

Sir_Winston54 said:Thank you for the link - there was some interesting and informative material there.
My mother also has the problem, and has been prescribed some kind of medication for it, but I don't know the name. I'll have to ask her.
