Not Irish but looking to move there

Hello all - new here to lite and new to this board. But thought I would join in with the thread. I am presently in new england US but am very seriously looking to move to Ireland. I am in the medical field - wholisticly oriented and in corispondance with a doctor in the southern part of ireland at present. Trying to do all the stuff necessary to get permission to work in Ireland and all. So I thought why not join in here and find another reason to relocate.

Humblest, most abject apologies !!

Never meant to imply that those female members on Lit were anything other than wonderfully sensual imaginative women.

I was simply commenting that many women in Ireland seem to suffer from a serious case of "Catholic Repression" and that it does seem to somewhat stifle their sensual natures.

Consider me suitably chastened !! ;-)

hey saoirse thanks for the welcome and salt as well - to respond to satt's ? as more about myself I will tory to be brief

41 soon to be 42 wasp- anglo-european somewhat typical guy from the us although soon to be a minority as a white male - lol- as I mentioned before - in the medicle field - specically chiropractic and into wholestic medicing - herbal, homeopathy, chiropractic obviously, - basically turning on the most powerful healing thing we know of - our own bodies. looking very seriously (just sent off info recently for work permit etc.) into crossing the pond as they say - I wanted to come to europe after grad - but life happens - and life is giving me another chance to persue the dream of exploring So I am keeping my fingers crossed that if all goes well - will visit Ireland withiin a few months and meet with doctor looking for an associate and before the end of the year - make the move - so when I do the Guinness and or Harp is on me

in a nut shell as it were - in the mean time would love to hear from lasses (sp?) - hey what can I say - still a guy and interested in women - is that so wrong LOL

how big is rugby in Ireland? club or union? played rugby all through college and on and off since - would love to play in europe/ireland once a hooker always a hooker lol
just had to ask - youi know its a yank thing - always multitasking but never seeming to get anywhere LOL

Rugby is huge here. Look up Irish Rugby on Google... and you will see!!!

No we have no problems, although i find that the Irish temper is one to beware of LOL

My family is so mixed even religiously and it has lead to a high level of respect and tolerance, plus my Nanna would never allow any fights

My nanna believes that we must all live in harmony and she has lived her life as she pleases. She is a truely amazing woman who has taught me so much.
