I thought they did it without realizing.
Now, I am beginning to wonder if they do it on purpose.
Isn't there an amputee fetish? I mean, I know a fetish has to do with an object, but I don't know what else to call it...
I'm afraid calling something a fetish that isn't one is going to set off Primalex's spidey senses >.<
I saw this movie 20 years ago -- Crash by David Cronenberg - I remember it being something about car crashes and hoping for amputation as a fetish.![]()

Wow, that was a 90s movie trailer if I've ever seen one lmafo.
Love me some young James Spader.![]()
Crash isn't that great a film really.
Instead I recommend Sex, Lies and Videotape, which is an excellent movie with an-even-younger-than-Crash James Spader.![]()

Crash was NOT a good movie - I posted the trailer because of the amputee conversation. This movie came out in the 90's too - Boxing Helena. (I saw it.)

Agreed! I saw SL&V on its release in 1989 and thought it was okay. A couple of months ago, I watched it again and was struck by the number of delicious nuances that I had missed the first time around.I concur completely. I absolutely loved SL&V. Spader showed us how he would raise the bar for creepy almost-normal characters throughout his career. Hot, hot, hot movie all the way around.

So I'm back again for now. I've missed everyone. Mostly been busy and haven't felt like I have much to say. Made a post in the mental illness thread because of course I did. I also changed my av (obvs) and profile pic because why not?
Anyway, how's everybody?

Hug, hug, hug, hug
Old man temper tantrum over not being allowed to attend TNG events.
Meanwhile, I can't buy a decent home at an affordable price because it's in an age restricted community (55+). :sits pleasantly understanding I just don't meet the age requirement:

Ugh. I have so many strong feels whenever this topic comes up in our local kink community. Whenever an older guy complains about not being allowed to attend TNG events I just want to shake him and scream "Don't you realize this is precisely one of the reasons why TNG has age limits - so there's at least one place young people who are probably on balance new to the scene can go and know that there won't be any creeper old dudes who feel entitled to go full creeper mode and creep all over them?!"
I will age out of our TNG group this coming summer, and it's become a running joke between me and one of the group leaders. Our group does allow older people to attend if they are the partner of someone who is still age-appropriate. So she always tells me, "You'll just have to get a young slam piece who will bring you to events so you can get in." I wish the phrase "young slam piece" was more common in the everyday parlance, but in all honesty I think even if I have one I still will stop going to TNG events when I age out. I just think there's value in young people having their own space for stuff like that. I'm lucky enough to live in an area where we have lots of opportunities for people of all ages, so no one here is hurting for munches, classes, sloshes, play parties, etc. to attend. regardless of their age or any demographic.
