Fair questions, and the answer probably is “Don’t know yet, it’s early on.” The in utero brain “switch” may turn out to be a range, much like a light dimmer. Some will be hard-wired a certain way and others mostly one way with an openness to another, and others wide open for anything. Your thought experiment is interesting, but seems somehow too…rigid maybe? Will have to think on it

If transgender men are going to insist there are no significant advantages to biological males entering female sports, then they can stay in the male sports section, because according to them, there are no significant differences to begin with.

There is absolutely no reason why a transwoman cannot stay in male sports. Heck, there are no rules that say women cannot compete in male sports either, they just generally don't for blindingly obvious reasons.

I posted a video a while back of a mixed male and female track event. I think it was a 400 or 800 meter relay race. Event though some of the men started much later than the women all of the men finished before every woman. There is simply no comparison between men and women in these kinds of physical events. That is why placing them in frontline combat units is giving a handicap advantage to our enemies that will be paid for with American lives.

Same here in Canada. My brother served in the CAF, twice deployed to Afghanistan. The stories he told about female soldiers were pretty sad. Everything from female soldiers given ridiculous preferential treatment, absurdly low standards for them, the women constantly sleeping around with all the troops (especially ones with seniority/command privileges), half or more of the female recruits 'suddenly' becoming pregnancy when overseas deployment was about to happen, etc.

I remember him mentioning how his group was out on patrol and they literally had to take their female member's rifle away. She was so freaked out and panicked there was a strong possibility she was going to shoot one of their own by accident.

Forcing women to compete against biological males in sports

Forcing people to use the lingo of trans activists at work for fear of getting fired; there are plenty of examples of people being cancelled and/or fired for speaking up about their beliefs (JKR, Kathleen Stock, Maya Forstater to name a few)

Forcing girls to allow trans-identified knuckle-dragging perverts into their sororities/bathrooms/changing rooms/certain places of work. (ie, the cases of Artemis Langford, Jessica Yaniv)

Forcing women to accept trans identified males into their women's only online groups (Tickle vs. Giggle)

If you're a teacher, you can no longer say "boys and girls" in the classroom, or all the many ways our language is supposed to change, i.e., we can't say women anymore, we should say "people who menstruate."

Certainly you can "refuse" to conform, but you face the gamut of shaming, cancelling, up to firing, being sued and/or arrested.
