Don't need a cite for what's proudly owned by lefties. You guys have been openly wanting to normalize it for decades. Democrat activist literally told everyone openly it was one of their top priorities. When they held the purse strings, it MAGICALLY got normalized.

You can pretend that's JUST COINCIDINCE!! if you need to deny the progress Democrats made for LGBTQ rights.

But everyone with an IQ above room temp clearly saw WTF ya'll did, very proudly and out in the open and doesn't see any sane reason to deny it. Why do you??

While I would add to that raise taxes, during the really good times on everybody but right now we need to just raise taxes on the rich PERIOD even in bad times. Overall I agree with that philosophy. When things are good pay down the debt, get to a point where you are paying more than you required to each month. No hesitation. That's just what needs to be done. When things are bad it sucks to build debt but you aren't going to have a lot choices and the more you hesitate too much you're just hurting yourself.

Sadly, it doesn't work out that way. When things are good, people scream, "How DARE you decrease spending now when we have so much money and there are still so many good causes to spend it on!?!?!?" or "How DARE you raise taxes when we don't need to because the growing economy is already bringing in more money and do you want to KILL the strong economy?!?!?" Eventually a crisis is reached and pain has to be distributed, whether through austerity or Argentina-style hyperinflation . . .
 
Well, it's not going to get any better in this administration:

United States President Donald Trump has issued an executive order that bans transgender girls and women from participating in women’s sports in schools and other educational settings.

The directive, titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports”, is the latest addition to a series of new executive actions that have shone a focus on gender debates within the US.
After signing the order in the White House’s East Room on Wednesday, Trump declared that “the war on women’s sports is over”.

The order instructs the Department of Justice to oversee a ban on transgender girls or women from participating in female-designated school athletics or using women’s locker rooms. If schools fail to adhere to the policy, they could lose federal funding.

The directive hinges on a specific interpretation of Title IX, the US law that forbids sex discrimination in education, which now defines “sex” as the gender someone “was assigned at birth”.

You've been here long enough to know, he sees what he wants to see regardless of what actually happened. And the fact that the American left hasn't been rounded up and deported to some desert island is, in his eyes, exactly the same as our dominating everything and ruining the country. Another "We don't support porno for K-5th classrooms." While also coming totally unhinged over the prohibition of porno in K-5th classrooms.

It's still weird even to care about transgenders playing girls' sports. Really weird. But for some reason, it appears to be a high priority for this administration.

The books at issue were not pornography by the broadest conceivable definition -- and every single one of them belongs in school libraries!
