We've been doing the supply thing all weekend. I think I'm set for now, although I'm sure once I get to classes I'll be needing something.

Although I'm not a Dodgers fan, I was sad to see their win streak snapped today. Geez, they're as hot as any team I remember seeing in more than 20 years.
Watching the Yankees & Red Sox now and wow, things are heating up. ARod really needs to just retire and get on with his life. He was great, but is now sullied and will never regain any respect in the game. A really sad story.

Thanks everyone. Bags are packed, lunch is ready, and I have my new jeans, sneakers and even a fresh pair of boxers. 
Although it was tough holding out, the Dutchess sent me a gift last week that I had to wait until this morning to open. Rest assured Rhapsody, any supplies I may not have had are taken care of now. Thank you Dutchess, very thoughtful!!!
I'm now off to walk my daughter to her first day of school. When I get back I double check my stuff and head out myself for a first class that begins @ 10am. I do have a couple of breaks through the day and will try to check in when I can.

Glad you liked he Schultüte, John! It is a german tradition. Of course I didn't put in yours what one would put into a Schultüte for a little child on his first day of school.
Aw that is a sweet tradition. I love school supplies and clothes shopping for school - even if I am not in school I wait until certain parts of the season to buy new clothes.

Not feeling well sucks. Have a good day everyone. I took he day off and am going rest and relax - float in the pool and maybe start baking. Some cookies for the first day back to school. Milk and cookies at 3:00pm before homework starts.

Ok, the first 2 classes are out of the way. It looks like I may enjoy the History of Photography class, but will reserve judgement for a bit first.
Art History is next, but not until 7pm, so sitting in the library, reading my first 2 assignments and wondering how everyone is doing. I do know that there will be no time for the pool or jacuzzi tonight, but completely look forward to an hour or two tomorrow night when I will find the time.

I love learning new stuff. Hope your day is rocking! I loved classes spread out throughout the day. You go to the library and do your homework and then it is done.

One long day a week, Munky. That leaves time the rest of the week to do whatever needs to be done. Plus, like Rhapsody said, a couple extra hours in the library & I get a nice jump on homework and such.

So happy for you John that classes seem good. It must be tiring today for all your time at school not having been in a while. I would struggle to stay awake. But interesting subject = awake time.
Are you able to eat there? Are you taking my advise and looking into all the girls faces and not other body parts?
Can't wait for a full accounting of your day. I have been floating in the pool. May switch to the jacuzzi as I had a small biking mishap today.

Lola, that doesn't sound good! Kind of reminds me of the time my youngest brother-in-law slipped with his scooter and eldest brother-in-law's wife and I spent about half an hour picking little stones and stuff out of his back with tweezers. I hope you heal soon and well dear!
