Dutchess, I have class today. The only day I don't have class is Thursday, but the rest of the week isn't nearly as long as Mondays.

Lola, I'm so sorry to hear of the bicycle mishap. I hope it wasn't too bad, and will be praying that the jacuzzi and some TLC gets you back to normal sooner rather than later.

It is nice to have one day around midweek and the weekend off, John. The young folk won't need that extra day as 'badly' as a grown-up I think.

Day 2 is in the books. I got my first photo assignment today, so at least it's not all about the reading. Short couple of days the next 2, then a brutal class on Friday. Things are rolling along.

Now, I'm thinking it's time to get in the pool. Decompress a bit and hope one of the fine ladies that visit will be floating by shortly.

Hope your days go well at school. I am going to go slowly and slip into the pool and float. Hope everyone else is doing good.

I went off the curb and almost fell butt over head. Instead my body blocked me from going over and keen biking skills - haha. I have trouble all the time this one was just harder.

He wants a self portrait, 15 shots. I've got some ideas, but not sure yet. I'll let you know when I've made a decision.

Lola, it sounds as though it could have been uglier, but I'm glad you weren't hurt beyond a few bruises. Be careful & don't take on more than you're ready for. The key is to remain patient and stay within yourself.

It's Wednesday, hump day, and I've woken up with very little direction this morning. Going to drive Mrs. John to work this morning, then back home for an hour or so before I head to school for one class.

Good morning! Shaping up to be a beautiful day for sunshine here.. another 35 minutes and the pools open up for the day.. Weather interfered with my sun time last week so looking forward to today.

Ok, the first 2 classes are out of the way. It looks like I may enjoy the History of Photography class, but will reserve judgement for a bit first.

Art History is next, but not until 7pm, so sitting in the library, reading my first 2 assignments and wondering how everyone is doing. I do know that there will be no time for the pool or jacuzzi tonight, but completely look forward to an hour or two tomorrow night when I will find the time.

Wow John! I knew you had History of Photography (one of my favorite classes), but didn't know you were taking an Art History class as well. I'm so jealous! Bet you're looking forward to tomorrow, and a little down time...

Good morning ladies. It's been hot hot here the last couple of days and the news is telling me today maybe the hottest. As a result I'm making plans now to spend a good deal of time next to the pool, reading, and relaxing.

I just got the syllabus for my 2 dimensional design class, and I'm freaking out! First class is tomorrow and I want to be as prepared as possible, so will be doing a good deal of reading for that class.

I was talking to a friend last night who reminded me to have some fun on occasion too. Think I may go for a run after it cools down this evening, and then consider a short small trip somewhere this weekend.

Thanks for the 2 guesses so far. I know the Dutchess usually cuts out and goes to bed early for us so I'll probably post the answer around 6pm my time today.

I really don't know the answer, but my guess is 1,095,247,318. I'm thinking that may be too low, but we will see...

John... I'm so happy to hear your first week is going well. I know it is exciting, scary and overwhelming all at the same time. I wish you all the best. I'm sure after this week it will settle down when you have an idea about all your classes. You sound like you will use your spare time well and stay organized. Please know we are all here if you need help taking your mind off things.

Rhapsody... you are a woman after my own heart. I can get lost in an office supply store. Pens, pencils, notebooks, highlighters, be still my heart..... 1/3 cut file folders!
