Hoping for the best. Recovery from a major surgery and rehab can sometimes take a big toll on energy and ambition, and take us out of commission for longer than we anticipate.

He's getting on in years - he must be in late 70s or even early 80s, from what I know.I hope that's all it is.
I coulda sworn I've seen him post since the last time I was really active in the past three weeks. It's been almost two months since KeithD's last post in this forum or his last published story. He was gone for about three weeks late last year but this is by far his longest absence since I joined this forum almost 8 years ago.

https://www.literotica.com/authors/sabbsr71plt hasn't posted any more recently than 24 June.
He has a long-term collaborator, though I don't recall who that was nor whether that's a "Lit thing" or more of a marketplace connection. But that would be a good resource, if anyone remembers who that was?

They wrote together as Shabbu.

But Sabb has not published anything since 2015
And the last under the joint name is 2019
Good memory.
I reached out to @sabb, but given those dates it might be a dead end. If I get any word, I'll post it here.
Keith has mentioned that one or two posters from AH worked out his RL identity from things he shared - not sure if any of them are currently active. But as you say, I wouldn't take that as permission to share that identity more broadly.A public service announcement / observation: (yes, I know this is obvious and probably doesn’t need saying, but I’ll say it anyway )
We all fall into different categories here on lit regarding how big a secret our patronage here is to our real life existence. (Full disclosure, I’m in the category of not a soul knows and that’s how I want it.) But whatever each person’s decision is, that decision is their own.
Based on an unscientific poll of my memory, I would say KeithD also falls into the not a soul other than people in his publishing circle know, and that he probably likes it that way.
What I’m suggesting is this: if someone out there were to hear something that crosses the boundary between Literotica life vs. real-life regarding KeithD’s real name, milestone dates, whose name to donate money to some worthy cause in memory of, that should not be shared unless somehow the permission came from KeithD himself. I might even suggest extreme vagueness regarding any noteworthy dates, should such info become known
This whole post has me dancing on the edge of having made a big assumption. I hope against hope to end up horribly horribly wrong.
I know who you're talking about, but she hasn't been here in some time, and at one point left, then came back with a different name because her partner found out about her first name here and she 'had' to get rid of it, then came back again.I do know a Litser who knows his real identity. I haven't seen her for years now, but I'll try to contact her to see if she has any news. And, no, she won't do anything to give away his identity, nor would I if I knew.
@Zeb_CarterThis thread made me think of Zeb Carter who also said he'd figured out Keith's name, and I realized I haven't seen him post in a long time, and I can't seem to find his name in searches. Unless he had something in his name I don't recall.
