Most people would be amazed at how strong steel really is. That 2 inch ball and a receiver mounted directly to the frame is more than strong enough to hold that truck.

That is a sharp rig. You can have my part of 70 mph in a boat. lol. Now I will do a 140 plus in a Vette, of course 70 in a boat is about the same . Different strokes I guess. 55 in a boat was about all I wanted.

Yeah. Most people don't think about the fact that boats don't have any suspension. LOL

Porsche ---
I agree with him - boats are fun, but driving 140 + on a highway (where the cops can catch you, and people can dart out into the fast lane at an incredible speed of 65 mph - is much more intimidating).

strywriter, that Porsche is one nice car. The 145mph plus was late at night 1AM on a deserted bypass with only one other car and he was fast falling behind. My toy is a modified Corvette convertible. By the way, my nerve was about to run out at the 145 . The car is capable of 175+. It has close to 475 horse power. And believe it or not will get 27mpg on a long road trip. Damn economy car! . That is the only time I have had this car anywhere near that fast.

As long as the police are not monitoring this -- my previous Porsche was a 1978 924 -- and I had that one at 140 + while on the interstate 64 between Gene Snyder and Shelbyville - but was racing my brother in a Alpha Romeo Spider and naturally I won!
This Porsche I have gotten up to 120 but alas, the traffic is too thick to go faster. Do you know how FAST you overtake a car doing 65 when you're doing 120+

4 50 AM and no snow yet in the Louisville area. We really are only supposed to get some rain. Hopefully get rid of last weeks salt on the streets.
