Kentucky hook-ups look here.

Damn Big Orange is kicking my Cats azzzzz. The whistle isn't exactly going in favor of the Cats either.

I'm known for my memory. And my mammaries. :D

I've seen pics of those mammaries. They're sooooooooooo fine.

Yep, still alive and kicking. Just waiting for the spring thaw.............

Why thank you kind sir, although if memory serves you were more focused on the hand. :D

And just let me say, one more time, GO VOLS!!

...sorry fellow Kentuckians, my dad went to UT and it was ingrained at an early age to hate UK...hope you still love me...

I dunno. Have you ever done 70mph on rough water? It's a whole different kind of thrill. I don't think boats and cars are in the same category. It's a completely different experience.

Wind in your face. No suspension. Exposed to the elements.

... and the certain knowledge that hitting a wave juuust right can launch you end over end. 70MPH on water feels a lot like 110+ in a car.

'Bammy is a GREAT place to speed. For a while I was driving from TX to DC and back twice a year. LA sucked, MS wasn't bad, AL? Drop the hammer and GO. AL is the only place I've ever hit the limiter on a car (155MPH, freakin German Green Party). Don't miss the work but the drive was always nice 'decompression' time. Almost wish I needed to go again... I have much faster toys now. :D

Welcome to Kentucky, Texas man. :D

Three posts in 8 months? You must have a REAL LIFE!

I'm a job traveller, too. Love the time I spend in my car.

Why thank you! I just realized I posted about driving in Alabama in the KY thread... earlier I went back to the 'bama thread and couldn't find my post. *smacking forehead* You know you have massive ADD when you can't even fuggin' keep up with what thread you're on. Oh well, y'all are better lookin' anyway... AND make damn good bourbon. :D

As for the car time, it's funny how those damn wireless coverage gaps just seem to get bigger and bigger and happen to coincide with me thumbing the off button... ;) Hopefully you get a company car; self employment is a bitch on that front. Got XM? If you don't, you really really should.

What a hoot! (now that's not a Texas expression!)

I have days I don't know where I am. ;)

No company car unfortunately but 44 ½ ¢ per mile. My car's not pretty, but it gets good gas mileage. I don't mind those cell signal gaps. That way my employees can't contact me. :D As for XM, I have found that the station I listen to the most, ESPNRadio, has an affiliate in every hole in the wall town from here to eternity.

Barren County, KY #1

I had no idea I was living in the #1 county in the country for rural living. Too bad I don't really like rural living.

The link at the bottom of the article takes you to the article in Progressive Farmer where you'll find several other Kentucky counties in the Southeast Regional Top 60, a couple of them even over here in western KY surprisingly.

The only thing I DON'T like about rural living is the lack of good jobs around.

That's the only thing you don't like?

*le sigh*

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like the constant view of cows in the front and cows in the back. :D I think it has more to do with the fact that I'm a single woman and it's pretty isolated here. Not that anyone has ever harrassed me, but you just never know.

Sorry about your job market. :rose: I've been strangely fortunate in that area.

WooHoo! Hardin county came in at #8 in the SE. We've got it good here :D

Actually, the place is growing so damn fast that it won't be considered rural for much longer.

I thought I had been deserted. That's why I quit posting. Felt like I was talking to myself. :(

I hope you've been well. :rose:

Hey Folks,
Was out of town last weekend. Froze my butt off trying to play golf in South Ala.
The Cards had a great week and the Cats at least saved some face by beating LSU. Good Luck to both of them tomorrow.
NASCAR is in California this week with J Gordon on the pole and the Toyota's didn't qualify very well. Congrats to Harvick on Daytona. Would have loved to have Mark Martin win it.
Alright Elizabeth, Wiggle that sexxie butt for me, one more time. :p

Spicey frowns, Cats should have won that one. Wonder when U of K AD is gonna figure out Tubby is a very mediocre coach. And an even worse recruiter? I wish Vandy well, they are a nice team.
