Leather and Lace

Keri struggles more to get away from Juli as she tightens her grip around her. She closes her eyes and starts to pray "Oh God, don't take her this way. I know I have made a lot of mistakes in my life but please, just answer this one prayer."

Katelyn coughs and fights for breath, her body finally starting to relax and her breathing evening out as her heart rate increases a bit more.

 

[JenJ]

Juli held onto Keri tight.

Kallie squeezed Katelyn's hand. "Katie come on back to us."

Jen remained quiet know.

Keri sobs into Juli's shoulder, her legs growing week as she stands there, bare from the waist up but not even thinking about that.

Katelyn opens her eyes as she slowly starts to stabilize. She looks around and spots Keri crying "Keri?" she turns her head and looks right at Kallie, not even sure what her name is but she squeezes her hand tightly. Her eyes fall upon Jen and she smiles, blushing slightly.

Juli breathed a sigh of relief. "Katie you gave us quite a scare."

Kallie squeezed Katelyn's hand tightly. "Katie your awake good good."

Jen smiled at Katelyn remaining quiet for now.

Keri takes a deep breath but remains still "My Katie.... I was so scared"

Katelyn frowns, her eyes starting to fill with tears. "I'm sorry... What happened?" She looks at all the faces wondering why they are all there and where she is.

 

[JenJ]

Juli smiled at Katie. "Well hon you passed out at Leather and Lace and we brought you here." She looked to Keri and Kallie wondering how far to take this.

Kallie just held onto Katelyn's hand tightly unsure what to say really.

Jen sort of wanted to leave the room yet wanted to know what happened.

Keri groans and tries to walk over to the other side of the bed by Kallie as she starts to speak "Katelyn, you were electrocuted, and your burns and wounds were badly infected. All of this caused your heart and brain to swell and you went into a coma. I don't know where Krystall and Lesette are, but I shot one of them. You are safe now though."

Katelyn looks at Keri in shock and looks at her puzzled as she aborbs the news. She blinks and looks at the myriad of wounds that have been stitched up on Keri's front and gasps "Is that what she did to you before you left?"

Juli looked at Katie. "Yes that is what happened to her that night."

Kallie just held onto Katie's hand not wanting to let go of it for fear that Katie would slip away. She stayed quiet right know.

Jen backed against the wall just watching.

Katelyn blinks and sighs "That's why you wanted me to come with you?"

Keri nods her head slowly, tears running down her cheeks "Yes, I didnt want you to get hurt. I'm so sorry" she struggles to get around Kallie's chair, every movement pulling on her sore body. She places a hand on Katelyn's face "Please forgive me?"

Katelyn looks at Keri in shock, squeezing Kallie's hand very tightly. She doesn't know why but she is very drawn to Kallie. "There is nothing to forgive, you tried to save me. But your... your a cop... And she did this to you?"

Juli lowered the rail on Katie's bed she picked Keri up and placed her up by Katie.

Kallie clung to Katie's hand staying quiet as Katie and Keri talked.


Jen pressed herself against the wall just watching.

Keri turns her head and smiles at Juli, forgetting how strong she has always been. "Thank you love" She settles against Katelyn gently, not able to hold her very tightly without hurting both of them so she holds her very gently, kissing her cheek softly. She strokes over Katelyn's face gently "Your safe now, and you have a home and you can have your own studio if you want to. Kallie has been very worried about you since last week, she wants to get to know you better and help you."

Katelyn snuggles against Keri warmly, careful not to touch her stitches. She listens quietly and swallows hard, not really able to imagine anyone wanting to do this. She looks over Keri's body at Kallie in shock.

Juli smiled at Keri. "Your welcome love." she looked at Katie a moment and noticed her shocked look. "Yes you are safe and will have a home and your own studio if you want."

Kallie smiled at Katie. "Yes I want to get to know you better. Don't look shocked I find you absolutely stunning."

Keri smiles as she listens to Juli and Kallie. She holds Katelyn gently, just reassuring her with her presence as she did when they were both with Krystall.

Katelyn is speachless for a moment then finally speaks, her face turning red at the compliment "You are all wonderful, thank you very much. I never expected to make it out of that situation.... I never expected it to bad though"

Juli smiled at Katie and just stayed silent for a bit.

Kallie gave Katie's hand a little squeeze unsure of what to say really.

Jen kinda sank back against the wall feeling out of place.

Keri just holds Katelyn gently.

Katelyn tilts her head and looks at Jen, smiling brightly at her. She met her once long ago when she was with someone else, her first time to a dungeon. "Thank you for coming Jen."

Juli brushed her hands through Keri's hair softly.

Kallie smiled and continued to hold onto Katie's hand.

Jen smiled at Katelyn. "Your welcome I came to visit my big sis Kallie."

Keri presses into Juli's hands, enjoying the sensation. She grins a bit to break up the tension. "Juli, tell them our story"

Katelyn smiles at Jen "She's lucky to have you." She looks at Keri "Oooh.. yes"

 

[JenJ]

Juli blushes a little bit. "We've known each other since we were in kindergaden. I supose we started to have feelings for each other in our teens. Then in high school my father caught us kissing and packed me off to boarding school. I went to college from there and med school as well. I wound up back here a while ago and tried to find Keri but couldn't it was like she disappeared I know the reason of that know but I've found her and I'm not letting her go again."


Kallie listened and smiled still holding Katie's hand."

Jen sat on the other bed and listened wiping a couple tears from her eyes at thinking of Kristin.

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri giggles "We got caught kissing in the girls bathroom in the seventh grade by basketball coach" She looks over at Jen and sighs, knowing the story there. "I...I'm sorry Jen...."

Katelyn reaches for Jen's hand quietly.

 

[JenJ]

Juli smiled. "That we did." She saw Jen and sighed a moment. "Sorry Jen."

Kallie reached over and squeezed Jen's other hand. "Lil sis it will be okay."

Jen smiled shakily. "It's okay I'm getting bettter." She toyed with her wedding ring having not been ready to take that off yet.

Keri sighs and closes her eyes, knowing what it felt like when she lost Juli, though this was less permanent. She holds onto Katelyn tightly and presses against Juli the best she can.

Katelyn squeezes Jen's hand "I... I'm sorry for being such a problem and causing feeling to be drudged up. How can I make it up to you 4?"

 

[JenJ]

Juli wrapped her arms around Keri.

Kallie squeezed both Jen's hand and Katie's. "You don't have to make it up to us Katelyn. I'm just glad you seem to be better know."

Jen smiled and squeezed Katie's hand back. "You didn't cause feelings to be dredged up. They are at the surface for me and I suspect they will be for a bit." She continues to toy with her wedding ring.

Keri presses against Juli as she rubs a hand over Katelyn's face gently "Katie sweetie, it's ok"

Katelyn swallows hard and nods. Her eyelids start to grow heavy because her body is still weak with infection "Tha..." she falls asleep in mid sentence.

Juli cuddled Keri gently letting her hold onto Katie as well. "She needs her sleep."


Kallie just held onto Katelyn's hand gently.

Jen got up. "I'll be back in a bit I need some air."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri snuggles with Katelyn for a bit longer then sighs softly "Love, can you help me to the restroom please?"

Katelyn sleeps peacefully, her vitals remaining mostly steady, dropping only a little at various times but nothing dramatic.
