Legend Of Zelda: Future Atonement

Zelda jumped when she heard t explosion hurrying to her barred window. Down below were two figures, one appeared to be a Goron. The other... she couldn't quite make out. Frowning she quickly looked around her room for a weapon. Obviously there wasn't one so instead she kicked the leg of the crude wooden bed breaking in off in a clean break. Thank god for all the years in gymnastics her legs were all muscle and the kick took little effort. Grabbing the wooden leg as a club she awaited whoever entered the door praying she wouldn't have to use her pathetic excuse for a weapon.

IC: I was now on the second floor, I Knew that because I went up on flight of steps, but other then that I was lost. I had taken so many turns and gone threw so many doors. I was happy to have the magic key. It would of taken much longer to get here with out it. Still it did have one strange quirk, when ever I shut a door or chest I just unlocked it locks back up behind me. A mix blessing, it made it hard for some one to fallow me but at the same time, I keep on thinking I'm going to go threw a door and leave the key on the other side.

"Where am I now. Any clue Lee." 'I think where in the outer cell block.' "Well do you think Zelda is on this floor or around here?" 'I have no clue.' I guess I'll have to keep on looking. I hope this dosn't take much longer, I don't want to fight the gaurds.

I stop running as I see the person run into a building. I look up and catch a glimpse of someone looking down.

I feel a hit on my back and hear,'Nice ka-boom bro' I turn around to see a young kid with a sword on his back and wind swept hair.

"Thanks I was just helping out the guy who was trying to get in here. I glad I decided to use a smaller bomb instead of the bigger one's. Well I have got to try to catch the guy that came in here"

"That's cool man. I have to go inside as well.... guess I'll cya on the inside.... take care and watch yourself."

Even though Link just met him, he could tell that he was a nice guy.... Goron.... whatever. As he ran for the door, he turned around and said "Oh yeah... the name's Link.... I would like to know your's next time we meet," and with that said, he slipped inside the building.

Zelda paced impatiently waiting for her visitors. She had tried her door numerous times. Tried picking the lock mentally and physically but nothing seemed to work. Whoever was keeping her in here had put a strong gaurd on that door.

IC: I moved down the hall swiftly and smoothly. My feet made very little sound since I was trieing to avoid gaurds. Still every sound they did make seemed to be that much louder, I'm not shure if it was because I was listening to myself more then normal or if it was because I was trying to sneack around and fate was against me.

I quitely turned around a corner and began to move as stealthy as I could. 'Hey you.' I turned around seeing two gaurds by a door. How'd I miss that? I really need to relax a bit more and then maybe my sense will be at there fullest. 'What are you doing here.'

I moived my hand back and threw it forward the chain flying out and knoking on on there head. "My fate." I then swung it around and knocked the second along the side of his head. I saw the first one begining to reach back for his gun. I pulled my hand back drawing the chain back into concelment and moved forward kicking him in the head. Finally he fell down cold.

I then knocked the gun out of the hand of the second gaurd, who drew it while I fuaght the first. 'No one killing Zelda now.' The ignorant fool didn't even relise that Zelda wasn't put in here for protection, well not hers any how.

He tired to strike at my with his fist but I cought uit and introduced his ribs to my shoe. I then elbowed him in the back and kicked his head while he was on his knees. These two will live, as long as I'm done and they awake before Ganons minons arive.

I stood still and cought my breath for a minute. I began to wonder why I wore this cloth infront of my face then I rembered I didn't want people to recanise me. But I need to take it off after all what type of girl would trust some one hideing behind a mask. So I pulled the cape down reveiling my mouth and chin. I then pulled off the cloak like cloth over my head. Leting my red hair fall to my shoulders.

I reached into my pocket and pulled out the magic key. I stuck it in the soket. That gaurd said this was her cell. Funny if he hadn't spoted me I would of walked right past it, fate must be on my side. I turned the key and open the door. I looked and saw the girl inside.

I placed the key in my pocket. The girl didn't look as spoiled as I thought. She seemed to have some sort of strenght protrudeing from her some how. That and she had he bed leg in her hands. She isn't going to be easy to kill. "I'm in a bit of a hurry sense some one blew open the main gate." She hadn't done anything yet. She was stareing at me judgeing me. She was dicideing weather I was her allie or enemy.

"Okay between us three girls, where is the triforce?" Will she tell me. Weather hse dose or not I'll have to kill her. Or do I she looks like she might be able to handle things herself. No don't think that it's to great a risk the forces of evil know she knows where the triforce is and Ganon will not stop until he has the same knowledge. If she tells me now I can slip by and they have only a corpse to question.

As the young man takes off I feel the warmth given off. I rest for a few more moments and then decide it is time to go into the building. As I am walking toward the building I hear the roar of creature in the background and the whimpering of dogs. Then there is silence.

"Oh shit I don't think were alone anymore"

I make a mad dash toward the door and close it behind me. I grab the bolt and put into place.

I walk up the stair and come upon the young man I encounterd just a few moments ago to bust down a door.

"Hey, you need help with that? Oh and you can call me Jinks"

Zurn turned a final corner, looking out towards some sort of main gate now. Two guards patroled it, each walking back and forth.
That wasn't the thing that first caught his attention though. He had to look at the front gate through a slip of wire.
His hand came out to it, feeling the slippery strong fabric in his hand.
Feels more like webbing.
He moved back, as 8 red eyes began to trace down the giant spider web blocking his way to the princess.
Zurn took in the beast, his eyes wide with deliberation and curiousity.
Never seen one so big before.
Then he looked passed the webbing to where the guards still paced back and forth.
"Ok," he said, knowing he'd have to get through the spider for the princess. He reached behind him, feeling the hilt of the sword in his hands.
"Ready?" A challenge that the spider, at least in Zurn's mind, took quite easily.

When Link ran into the building, he thought he would have had an easier time, considering all the guards were probably too busy trying to keep any stray beasties from just wandering in than to mess with a teenage boy. Of course Link forgot that he was in a prison.... which meant heavy steel doors... like the one he crashed into when he rounded the corner.

After admirering the stars (even though it was still daylight outside), he studied his problem. It was a steel door, not as big or heavy as the front gate, but definately something to bar his passage. He tried the handle, but it was wishful thinking. He new he couldn't knock it down.... he had the bump on his forehead to prove it.

He was comptemplating a new route when he heard a deep, gravelly voice say "Hey, you need help with that? Oh and you can call me Jinks."

He turned around and stared up at the huge being behind him. He sooned smiled, bowed with his arms pointing towards the door, the laid on the thick pleasentries one usually does when they joke with an old friend "After you, good sir. I think a little muscle power on your part will do better than your TNT."

He looks up and does a bow and tell me,'After you, good sir. I think a little muscle power on your part will do better than your TNT.'.

"Just stay out of my way and I should be able to get this bad boy down"

I watch as he take a couple of steps away from the door. I get at the end of the hall and make a running start towards the door. I hit the door with enough force to keep my momentum going that the I end up taking the door off the hinges and it goes on the floor.

"Mommy where am I. Just playing I'll follow you and I will knock down any thing that comes in are way"

Zelda studied the woman that entered. She seemed in a hurry and her abrupt question about the triforce put Zelda on gaurd. Gripping her bed leg tighter she straightened her gaze sqarely meeting the woman's. "I don't know who you are but I sense you are not here to talk. I am sick and tired of people coming in here and just wasting my time. Why can't you people be simple about it? Why all the games? Wouldn't it be simpler for you to just come in kill me and leave? Why the small talk? your just like those damn incessantly annoying poes!" Zelda took a deep breath. That was a mouthful! "Well I feel better!" she looked at the woman "Well what the hell do you want? You should know by now I"m not giving you the triforce. So kill me or leave. It's your choice"

IC: 'Look kill me or leave.' I was taping my foot impatently. "Look as much as I would like to kill you or leave, I can't. I need to know where the triforce is and then I can kill you and leave." Hmm I wonder if it was wise to tell her I plan on killing her. Oh well to late to take it back now. "Please hurry and tell me, I need to know before Ganons forces get in this room." I crossed my arms and turned to the side faceing the door frame. I then laid my weight against the door waiting for a response.

"Are you going to tell me or not?"

Zurn fell to the gruond, rolling as he did so. The hard cement dug into his back and arms. He rose to his feet, the sword still clamped within his grip, looking back up at the spider, who kept its piercing eyes stuck on him.
It made a hissing sound that churned Zurn's stomach. He knelt down, coming back up to the monster for more. He wished for a moment he had something that could kill this thing from a distance. A bow, or maybe even one of those gatling guns he saw in the magazines. One of the nice ones with the pearl handle, and the new patented E-Z grip.
The spider lunged at him.
He leaned hard to the right, his leg coming to an odd angle inside his body, as he moved out of death's way. The spider came to the ground, barely missing Zurn's flailing tunic.
As he stepped to the side, once more gaining balance on the concrete street, he turned with a harrowing force, the sword coming up. The spider, still in its missed lunge, perfectly beside him as he made for the devastating blow.
He intended to hit the spiders back, but to his surprise, the sword only swooshed through the air, cutting at the spider web that moments before held the venemous creature.
Above him, the spider now scampered up, both harmless and prideful. Zurn growled deep in his throat, wondering how the thing had escaped. The blow should have gotten to him.
The spider had too much of an advantage on the web, he could more easier, and better than Zurn could on the ground. He also had the advantage of gravity. While Zurns stayed on the ground, the spider could crawl as high as he liked.
It turned around, those eyes once again staring at him.
He had to get the thing out of its web.

Despite the situation Zelda began to laugh. "Your tactics are not very sound. Do you actually think I'm just going to hand the location of the triforce over to a strange woman who had just admitted to the intent of killing me? Thats a riot!" She began to laugh all over again. She sobered slowly a smile still lingering on her lips. "Well miss I hate to dissapoint but there is no way in hell that I'm going to tell where the triforce is so your journey was completely futile."

Link lead the way. After three rights, two lefts, a few deadends (and a hole hell of a lot of smashed down doors) later, he and his new traveling companion Jinx reach a fourway intersection. The both paused.

"Ok.... it's best we not split up... but how do we go about choosing the right way. Any of these paths could lead us off course." They both pondered for two minutes.... when Link heard something. His pointed elf-like ears twitched down the path straight ahead of them.

"This way," he got a few steps away when he realized Jinx didn't budge. He turned around and noticed the friendly Goron had a perplexed look on his face. Link pointed to his ears "I hear women's voices.... and this is supposed to be an all male prison." With that being a satifactory answer, they were both on their way.

IC: 'Well miss I hate to dissapoint but there is no way in hell that I'm going to tell where the triforce is so your journey was completely futile.' I wonder if she's thought this threw as well as I have? Or maybe she's just being selfish after all she is the presidents daughter. Shoot being that almost garentees a spoiled brat for a child. Although she isn't much yonger then me if at all.

"Let me run you threw the logic. You tell me where the triforce is. I kill you quickly and get hoild of the triforce long before ganon and the world is better off. Or I leave a group of Moblins comes by. They torture you and you tell them were it is. They then kill you slowly and Ganon takes the triforce and this place becomes hell. Which do you prefer?"

'Well I think they are going for the second choice.' "Who's they?" I turn around and there is a group of moblins. Only ten or so but I doubt this is all gaon will be sending in. "Prehaps we should continue this discusion outside."

Link and Jinx ran down the chosen hall. As they rounded the corner, they both came to a screeching halt.

In front of them were eight or more Moblins, all armed and very pissed off.

"Hey Jinx, looks like a rumble, you take the right side, I'll take the left!"

With his sword drawn, he charged the first Moblin he saw, ramming the blade up to the sword guard into its belly. A Moblin to his raised its pike to attack, but soon found and arrow in its throat from Links crossbow. Like pulled his sword free, now covered in a crimson gore, and prepared for the next volley.

As we round the corner we are confronted my a mob of Moblins.

'Hey Jinx, looks like a rumble, you take the right side, I'll take the left!'

I follow after him and clothes line a moblin that get in my way. I hear the thud but keep on going and grab the next one. I grab him by his neck and bash his head on the wall. Just as I am about to attack the next one I feel my feet neing held up and then my body falling forward. Before I know it I can feel something on my back.

"Link Help me"

I turn around, and see a moblin on Jinx's back. I quickly load a bolt, and fire it. It catches the moblin in the back, it falls off of the goron as it howls in pain.

Link would've congragulated himself... if it wasn't for the fact a moblin pinned his arms behind him, as another punched him in the gut. All the wind was knocked from his breath.

He was helpless as the monsters pummeled him.... he couldn't even yell out to his new friend. Maybe he was going to die here.

I feel the weight fall of my back. I look up at Link and see him being attacked.

"I'll be right there"

I stand up and head toward were Link is being attacked. I knock a moblin upside the head as he trys to get in my way.

"Let him go right know" , my voice being more animalstic then every.

I grab the moblin that is puncing Link and sned him flying into the wall. I reach my arm around and grab the arms of the other Moblin. I use my weight to bend it's arms to the point were it lets go. I grab a spear from the floor and pin it's arm to the wall.

I hold Link with one arm so he doesn't fall to the ground.

"Yo' Link you ok"

The goron from before made and entrance along with a pointy eared boy that looked only a little older then me or zelda.

They imdeatly took to the moblins. One to the left the other to the right, a classic tatic that has won many battle against lesser foes.

I personaly leened on the wall and watched as they took to the Moblins. I was actully quite comfortable and very well entertained. I was tempted to help when one Moblin jumped on the back of the goron and once more when one had the boy while the other punched him. Both times I didn't need to and so I didn't.

I watched as they beat the last of the moblins. I moved to a door that was still standing. I hope it will leed out side and hopefully with few obsticles.

"Very good now I sujest grabing Zelda and leaveing this way. I'll shut the door behind you." 'Why?' I point behind them, standing there are two giant Skelatons and one dragon. "I think runing is a better option right now."

Some of the surviveing moblins start geting up. "Hurry up and go." Zelda looks at me and I know she's going to say somethin but I cut her off. "Get going Zelda. If you get caught were all dead." I shut the door behind the last one. I wasn't going to fallow them. I was planing to delay these guys and escape.

IC: "Lee, any info on the dragon?" My farie flew out of it hideing place in my shirt. 'A unicorn. I've never seen this type of dragon in person.'

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" 'Good, these dragons I thought were hunted to extinction. But don't under estimate it. Oh and these guys can spit multiple fire balls at once. But they aren't very good at aiming.'

"Okay Lee..... I want you to go with the others. Watch after Zelda don't let anything happen to her got it?" 'Are you crazzy you can't win this fight.' "I won't I'm going to keep these guys her and then run like crazzy once the others have a good head start. Now go."

I praticly had to start swating at Lee to get her to leave. But she did run out after the others.

I turn around to face the dragon and skelatons. They had entered the room. "Shit prehaps I was to long winded."

Zurn glanced up at the pieces of webbing, all connecting to the different buidlings above him. Too tall for him to throw his sword with any accuracy. He might get a lucky shot, but even that was too risky, and from the look of it, he would have to get more than a dozen lucky shots before the giant web began to falter.
No rocks at his feet. Concrete has replaced cobblestones a long time ago here, and that left nothing more than a few pebbles scattered about.
Inside his satchel, food and his canteens of water couldn't aid him any more than fill his belly.
Biting his lower lip, Zurn looked back at the creature, whose bloody eyes still glared in fury at him. He sneered at the creature, moving closer to it.
The spider came down the web, just as far as he moved.
If he could just getthe spider down far enough, one swipe of his blade would cut the web enough, and then he'd have a fair fight.
The only problem would be, if the spider was that close, he wouldn't hesitate to try and bite him. His sword would be preoccupied at the moment; he couldn't defend himself.
He took another step, and the spider descended a bit more.
Zurn stared at the creature through slitted eyes, unsure as to how to make this more even.
He let the tip of his sword drop to his side, as it dangled close to his tunic. All of a sudden he felt cold. Looking down, he could see part of his tunic had frozen over.
Of course.
The sword could freeze things.
He looked back at the web. If he could just freeze some of the webbing, when the spider came down to attack him, he would be caught off guard. Zurn could cut the web, and then they'd be able to fight.
He gripped the hilt in his hand, moving up to the web. The blade touching strand after strand of the webbing, ice crystals zooming across each of them.
Above, the spider took this opportunity to prepare for another attack. Its final attack.

IC: I readyed my mace. This is going to be a tuff fight but hopefully a short one. You know maybe I should of phrased that difrently.

Do I stand much of a chance against the dragon? No I don't but if I take out the two skelatons holding it, it can't pursue them. But then again I'll wind up with a really pissed off dragon on my heals.

I don't like this. I take a step back, but my foot brushes up against the door. If I die now they'll get the magic key. No they don't know I have it. I wish Lee were there was a week spot on the stupid dragon, that would boost my confidence a little.

What if I get behind it? I saw the dragons head rear back and I knew I had to move. I jumped to the side kicked one leg off the wall and flew over a fire ball. A second ball had hit the wall to my left and a third the ceiling.

"No wonder you guys are extinct. Only one of those shots was actully acurate." I ficked my wrist the chain flying out around it's horn. The dragon reared it's had back a second time. I was thinking I could keep it from spiting fire by holding down the head. Then when it's spits fire it's head would explode...... I saw it in a movie. However the dragon lifted me off the ground and I wnet flying behind it.

I flew over the first skelatons head. But landed one my side. I slowly get back up on to my feet the chain still wraped around it's horn. "Lets try this again."

Zelda was for once silent as everything seemed to happen so fast. The moblins attacked soon followed by a pointy earred boy with a Goron. They quickly dispatched the creatures only to see a Dragon and two Skeletons approach. The next thing she knew she was pushed out of the room and found herself following to two new comers and worrying about the same woman who had come to kill her.
