OOC: Great to see you back Shila!

IC: While I continued jogging around the Lexx I decided to check on the stowaway. What was she doing here anyway? Before I could think anymore I was suddenly looking face to face with the stowaway!

Before she could do anything I started screaming and ran the opposite direction yelling "Kai! I think you might have been wrong about her being in a coma!"

OOC: Hey, it wasn't my idea, Shila. I'm just your average working "stiff" here.... Pardon my pun; I just couldn't help myself.

IC: As Kai wandered about looking for seven-ninety, he was approached from behind by Stanley and stopped him with a hand on his shoulder. Kai turned around to see a frightened look on Stanley's face. Stanley kept his hand on Kai's shoulder for balance as he puffed and wheezed.

"Kai, thank goodness! I found you!" he sputtered inbetween breaths.

"Stanley, what is the matter?" Kai asked him.

"Either you were wrong about the coma, or the stowaway's just come out of it. She's awake!"

"In all probability, I was wrong, and she's just a very heavy sleeper."

"We'll worry about that later. What do we do?"

"Did you try to detain her at all?"

"No, I panicked and ran to tell you about it." Stanley was starting to get his breath back now.

"I see. Inform Xev and seven-ninety. I will attend to the stowaway and bring her to the bridge. Meet me there." Kai turned around and started back towards the cryochambers.

Walking in the opposite direction on Kai, I was about to ask Lexx where Xev and 790 were when I saw them talking about something inside her chambers. Running up to them I yell "Hey guys the stowaway is awake and on the loose."

790 jumped in "And I suppose you didn't do anything to stop her right? Coward."

Ignoring him I continue "Kai is going to get her then we are supposed to meet up with him at the bridge so let's go." For some reason it looked like Xev and 790 were hiding something from me.

Xev picked up 790 and followed Stanley to the bridge. Trying hard to keep her face straight, she was none the less anxious to see Stanley's reaction at the alteration of his precious tape.

Reaching the bridge, Xev found herself wondering if the stowaway liked women too. Stanley really hadn't been that satisfying.

OOC: Ouch! One point for Xev!

IC: Once we reached the bridge I took a seat as we waited for Kai to arrive with the Stowaway. While we waited I noticed the look on Xevs face. She seemed to be trying to keep in a smile for some reason. 790 also seemed to be keeping something from me.

After about ten minutes of this I finally couldn't stand it anymore and tell them "What is it with you two? You look like you guys are keeping some kind of secret."

Starting to get worried I ask them "Is there something you guys aren't telling me?"

OCC: here, kiss it and make it better.

IC: Cutting 790 off before he had a chance to blow everything, I gave Stanley my most innocent smile and asked, "What could I possibly be hiding from you? I'm sure you know everything that happens aboard the Lexx. Why, I wouldn't be surprised if you had eyes all over this ship." Adjusting my skirt, I added with a smirk, "You know me, I'm an open book, or maybe just a screenplay."

Looking around I figure that this would be a good time to check on that video of me and Xev.

I excuse myself "Hey I got to uh go to my courters to check on something. You two stay here and I'll be back in awhile." With that I head off to my courters and close the door behind me.

Sitting down, I tell the Lexx "Ok Lexx let me see that tape."

Lexx said "As you wish Stan." And with that the small monitor in the room turned on as the video started up.

"Oh boy, oh boy here we go" I say to myself as I watch the tape of...of...what the hell?!?!

[meanwhile back with xev and 790]

"Do you think he's watching the tape 790?" asked Xev who was answered by a shocked Stanley Tweedle who came running back into the bridge.

790 mocked with a grin "Did you like the video stanley tweedle?"

Still surprised I yell to them "What did you do to my video?! How did you know about it?"

I was laughing so hard I almost fell over. "YOUR video? Why Stanley, I don't know what you are talking about. 790 and I made an interesting little How To tape. Perhaps you are confused."

790 smirked, "Of course, if you require tips, you pathetic impotent worm, we could arrange for a Part 2."

I wiped a tear from my eye, "790, stop it. That is no way to speak to the Captain." This was too much, I started to giggle once again.

I shivered and held my arms close to my body, hoping that that weird looking human male wouldn't come back.

I looked at the dead, pale creature entering the room and turned quite pale myself. I tried to run past him...

OOC: No, I don't believe you've been all that specific about your character yet.

IC: Kai entered the room and briskly began walking toward the stowaway. Seeing his entrance, the stowaway quickly moved to the other side of the room and attempted to rush past Kai while staying well out of his immediate reach. Kai efficiently responded by firing his wrist-grappling-thing so that it passed directly in front of the stowaway's path and lodged into the wall. Surprised, the stowaway stopped in her tracks.

"Ouch!" exclaimed the Lexx.

"My apologies, Lexx," Kai said off to the side. The big bug didn't respond.

Turning back the stowaway, Kai regarded her curtly: "It would be most wise of you to assist me in keeping the amount of force required of me to use to a minimum." He retracted his deadly wrist-apparatus and resumed his approach to her location.

OOC: What the hell does Kai call that wrist-thing, anyway? I can't remember if he's ever brought that subject up in the series.

ooc: okie... i think the descrip's in the actual post, but stats are: 36~24~32

i think he just calls it his bracelet.

IC: I pressed my back against the wall and tried to burrow into the Lexx's soft flesh. I whimpered as he reached out towards me. "Please don't hurt me," I whispered. Something in my words flicked a switch in his memory and he felt a flicker of recognition, soon suppressed by his undead status. Silvery tears ran down my satiny skin, dark as a moonless night. My silvery hair seemed to stick to the Lexx, all the way down to my knees. I regarded his pale countenance with horror in my silver eyes. I realized he was dead and gasped...

"Ha Ha very funny" I told them as I walked away from them with my head hung low.

Trying to keep from laughing Xev asked "Where are you going Stanley?"

I just told her "I'm going to go see what's taking Kai so long to get the stowaway. You want to come with me or just stay here and laugh?"

"Oh, stop being such a pouty-puss Stanley. We were only having a little fun. Besides would you rather I skin you for taping me without my permission? Really, I let you off easy."

I hopped up from where I was sitting and picked up 790. "Wait up, we're coming with you."

OOC: No prob it happens. I once forgot I was more then one people on my star wars thread and everyone was waiting for me to post as my second guy for almost two days!

IC: I just keep walking as Xev and 790 trail behind me. I suppose I brought this one myself but still it seemed like a good idea at the time. I can hear Xev and 790 saying something but I just ignore them. All I want to do is find Kai and that Stowaway.

OOC: Farscape!????!?? YESSSS!!!!!! I'm going to that thread after I'm done here!

As for my post here, it's lengthy, but bear with me. I think I have an interesting thing here churning away in the bowels of my mind....

IC: Kai reached toward the stowaway to take her into his custody and return to the bridge, when she spoke.

"Please, don't hurt me," she said quietly.

Kai hesitated, for a moment, his reach toward the stowaway, but resumed it quickly. After his reach pressed a little further, however, he completely froze his movements and did not reach forward. Curious, the stowaway leaned to the side and touched Kai's outstretched arm lightly. Kai reacted to her brief touch by slowly leaning back on his heels, escaping the stowaway's touch, and then letting gravity pull his body to the floor without a single movement from one of his muscles. He was completely stiff. His arm was even still outstreched after he fell, reaching towards the ceiling of the room.

Completely baffled by Kai's reaction, the stowaway slowly knelt down to examine Kai. Her attention was distracted briefly by the sound of footsteps and voices in the hall approaching the room. As the stowaway looked up to see who was entering, Kai's arm suddenly dropped to the floor, bringing the stowaway's attention back to Kai; he had become utterly limp.

Her attention once again returning to the new arrivals, the stowaway jumped in surprise when Stanley screamed "What the hell happened here!"

"I... I... don't know,..." the stowaway stammered. "He was fine a minute ago, then just dropped."

"Stanley,..." said Kai in a quiet voice.

"What is it, Kai? Have you run low on proto-blood?" Stanley responded with much concern reflected in his words.

"No, Stanley, not yet. Help me to a cryo-chamber, please," Kai requested. Xev and Stanley lifted Kai and dragged him to a chamber and placed him in it. "Listen carefully, Stanley," Kai began, "I must rest. Let me rest for as long as I can. Let me rest for at least six hours, but no more than twelve. You may wake me at any time inbetween then, but let me rest for at least six hours. Let me rest for as close to the twelve hours as you can allow. It is of the most importance, however, that you allow me to rest for NO MORE than the twelve hours. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Kai," Stanley said.

Kai continued: "Once I wake up, I may act strangely, or I may not. If I do act strangely, it will last for only a few hours. Regardless of how I act, I will explain everything after I have rested."

"OK, Kai," Stanley reassured him. "Seven-Ninety, can you make the adjustments to the controls?"

"I can, but I'll only do it if Xev asks me!" Seven-Ninety retorted savagely.

"Do it, Seven-Ninety," Xev instructed.

"Very well, my love," Seven-Ninety said submissively.

As the cover to the cryo-chamber lowered, Kai began to lose consciousness and discontinuity began to take its place.

Once Kai was locked into the cryo-chamber went into the deep sleep I turned to the stowaway "Ok lady, enough of this running around. I want to know who you are, how you got on the lexx, and what you did to Kai?"

The stowaway started to back away but was stoped by Xev "You better have some good answers." The three of us waited for the stowaway to answer us.

ooc: btw, this character only speaks two languages~one only Kai could recognize/understand and one a little different but close enough for Xev and Stan and 790 to get my general meaning. (back IC now!)

I watched as 790 programmed the controls, carefully stashing away in my mind the buttons he had Xev push and the words he said. I looked at the now~cold and sleeping Kai, eyes open and staring. I shuddered, not ever wanting to live after I died. I, however, had other fish to fry...

Stanley stepped towards me, and I sidestepped quickly. "Do not touch me," I warned him. The words I spoke and the ones I'd said before had barely been understandable, but know I changed to total gibberish as I spoke words to conjure my protection. A shimmering light appeared in my hand, wuickly taking the shape of a sword. I used this to keep the humans away from me. I couldn't really make out the exact words Stanley yelped as I held the glimmering blade in front of me, but I figured he was swearing. I motioned with the sword out of the room with them. I knew I couldn't hijack the ship; that was not my intent. I did, however, not want these weird being to intrude on my prayers for the walking dead.

I conveyed as much to them; I think they understood because they slowly turned to go. The doors closed at the captain's prompt and I let my sword dissolve. I began to sing softly, and some hours later - I didn't know just how much, but a look at the clock on the control panel said it had been about ten hours - I stopped. My throat was hoarse, but I felt a difference in the air. I examined the panel and programmed the cryochamber to open one minute before the twelve hours were up. I stretched out on the floor and was soon asleep.

Kai awoke to the swooshing sounds of the cryo-chamber lid slowly openning. Kai leapt out of the chamber with a shout: "Ha!" The stowaway woke to his shout with a start, much unlike her previous almost-unnatural sleep before. When she saw that Kai was awake, she stood up quickly.

Before the stowaway could say or do anything, Kai rushed up to her and planted a big, wet, passionate kiss upon her lips. As the stowaway began to push away (or was she going to respond encouragingly?), Kai abruptly ended the kiss and ran towards the door that Stanley and Xev used to enter. He stopped when he noticed the closed door, and turned around and left by the door on the other side of the room.

As Kai leapt and skipped down the hall, he began chanting:

"The wheel, it turns 'round and around;
it makes an ancient, rumbling sound!"

I froze as the dead thing approached me, kissed me, and danced off. I shook my head and ran after him, wondering what the hell had happened in that cryothingy. "Assassin!" I called after him in my other language. I could tell from his dress, but he was quite confusing. "What wheel?" I mumbled to myself as I caught up to him. "Are you okay?" I asked him, just as I saw Xev and stan hurrying up the corridor to turn off the cryochamber. I shurgged innocently as they took in the weird sight of Kai dancing. "He... he woke up like this!"

Standing there looking at Kai I ask him "Uh Kai, are you... ok?"

He runs over and grabs my hands and spins me around "I feel better then ok, I feel fantastic!" He lets go of me and I fall to the floor as he runs off to Xev.

I look at the Stowaway who also seems confused by what is going on here. I never thought it possible, but things around this ship have just gotten even weirder then before!

I grabbed ahold of the crazy/dead man's arm and pulled him around. I pulled his arms behind his back and held him. "He could hurt someone..." I said. I looked over at Xev and quickly asked, "Is there anything you know that can stop this?"

(either sing the song or start chanting praise to His Divine shadow... thye might work!
