Lit Encouraged Diet Thread

I don't drink any sodas, I cut out all the junk food a couple months ago, I went on a diet program so I supplement all my meals and I exercise about 1.5-2 hours a day and I didn't lose a thing. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? My calorie out put is more than the calorie input.

I agree with Shaigirl - maybe talk to a professional trainer or dietitian. Sounds like you're doing everything right so I'm not sure why you're not losing the weight. Are you still losing inches? Depending on your workouts and how strenuous they are you could be replacing fat with muscle and muscle is heavier. Other than that I really don't know. Wish I could help more.
 
I had to take the wife to the doctors for an appointment and decided to stop in at the weight loss center and get weighed. Tomorrow is the official weigh in but I have been working my ass off this past week and wanted to see were I'm at. This morning at 9:45 I weigh 241 pounds. Finally, a loss of 3 pounds. Things are starting to look up again in my direction.

I will get the official weight tomorrow, but for now, YEAH ME!!!!!:D
 
Lost another few pounds, put on a few of muscle. Ill be posting before and during pictures soonish, when i get this whole picture thing sorted out!
Congrats SCM, just a matter of looking positive and working hard :D
 
It's weigh-in day! I lost 3.8 pounds. That brings my total weight loss to 25 pounds. Hopefully I can keep up the trend. How is everyone else doing?

Hi Shy,,,Hope your weight loss was a good one. I weigh in tomorrow and yes Shai, still on the program. Been working out at the "Y" and it seems to be helping. I just need to make sure that I eat enough for the calories burned.

Anyway, I will report in Tomorrow and let everyone know if I lost any weight.
 
Good evening all. Well, I weighed in today and I lost another 3.4 pounds, which brings the total weight loss to 29 pounds. I am weighing 233 as of today! Sorry for being gleefull, but it's been at least 25 years that I weighed that much. My goal weight is actually attainable. Yeah me!!!:D

I'm glad you're getting much joy out of this weight loss program. I hope you'll be reaping the benefits of your lighter weight, whether looks-wise or health-wise. :) Congrats and I do hope you achieve your goal weight! ;)

As for me, I'm down to 110 lbs, which is quite an ok weight for me. If I get down to 105, it would be better, but even if I maintain it at 110, I'm a happy gal. At least now I'm eating healthy and exercising more. :)

Good luck, Shysweet. I dunno why you would want to lose weight, as you're sexy already (plus the fact that you have some very nice undies, lol). But if you wanna lose weight or eat healthier or be healthier all around, I'll cheer you on! Have fun and don't deprive yourself too much. Just have smaller portions. ;)

Hey Shai, Thanks for the encouragement, but I'm sorry to dissapoint you, there is no joy in the program, just joy in the weight loss. Doing the program sucks to high heaven, but the weight loss is the benefit.

The main reason for the weight loss is more health I guess. I seen my sister over the 300 pound mark having to have triple by-pass and I was getting up to around 275 pounds in the very beginning, about a year ago. I lost around 11 pounds from January to July. Not alot, let me tell ya. That's when I started on the program. I guess you can say it kicked started me into the 233 pounds I am today. My actual goal weight is 210, but I would be nice to get down to around 200 and I think that is very doable, but I think I would be happier at the 210. And, like you said, I'm eating healthier and exercising more.

As for you my dear Shai, I'm sure being at 110 looks very good on you.

Good afternoon Shy...:kiss:...How did your weigh-in go for you?

I know it's hard work. When I had my fitness assessment, I rated in the poor condition. In a couple things, hell, I didn't even rate, that's how poor I was. Now, I'm exercising around 1.5-2 hours a day and I actually look better naked,(which is a first in a very long time), but you, you look beautiful naked now. Just think how much better you'll feel just losing 10 pounds and become even more beautiful. Then we would have to make up a new word just to describe how much more beautiful you are.
