I am a technocretin and don't understand this stuff.

So I get a story posted. How is it rated? Do I have any say in the assessment? i.e. "Reverie" was far more erotic that "Creaming for Ice Cream" and yey few people have read it. Can I boost it? How? Your advice would be appreciated.

As I said, I'm a cretin but I love the ability to post what I write without the hassle of a publisher's slush pile.
