I don't know if luck really exists, but I watched a fascinating show by Derren Brown (a British illusionist) on luck....
He has some pretty cool stuff on YouTube.
It would take a minor miracle to get back from being a fucking idiot in my eyes, however it's very very easy to get TO being an idiot.![]()
What she said...once you're an idiot you tend to stay there...
edit: anybody can be idiotic any day of the week, even me. To be an idiot is permanent.
"He/she is an idiot!" That's a thought we have from time to time whether we are willing to admit it or not. Once you've made that decision how easy would it be for you to reconsider and think more favorably of that person? Would it take a minor miracle to sway you? Or is it simpler than that?
Donald Trump is an idiot. Exhibit A for an idiot; his picture should be in the dictionary to illustrate idiot.
His supporters are idiotic; I just hope for miracles to have them come to their senses and not be idiots too.
"He/she is an idiot!"....
Labelling someone idiot? I prefer to descibe their behavior as idiotic. There's a huge difference.
Cut me off in traffic though? All bets are off I'll say anything and everything. .![]()
many years ago, an ex of mine labeled our truck unloaders "the truck monkeys", because what do monkeys do? play around and throw shit. But then I thought that was insulting to monkeys. Then they became the truck morons, but as time has passed, even moron doesn't describe their level of stupidity.....Any suggestions on a good insult for a bunch of assclowns?
Interesting.
Offer them water and hope they dont break your shit?

Fortunately, I am free as a bird so there is no need for me to concern myself with such issues. Yay for me!!A couple of premises for today's topic.
1) Most of us are here or have are more "involved" without our partner's consent
2) Most of us have at least one good friend here
These two often times create a real life / online life mashup conflict. Want to share a story about your best friend here, whoops, better be careful. What about when your friend has a concern or something has happened and you can't exactly say "my online friend is having a rough day"
Beyond "I saw it on FB" or the generic "friend" reference, how do you handle this the Lit/Life mashup?

I found lit while I was unhappily married. I kept everything secret. I often caught myself saying someone I know....
We had the same friends so this really didn't fly
If I'm lucky enough to find someone compatible...lit will be part of who I am and what I do here will be part of the conversation
<<<<is very compatible![]()
Lol
Ok...let me add....in my neck of the woods or could actually meet in real life...
...willing to be public...
...not a secret ...
