We are so thankful for hooking us up with AIM, and I certainly appreciate the way you look out for Oman's welfare in the tub! You know all too well about certain "pests" that are looming and waiting for an "opening". Well, we're all human but I trust my 'Man so much, and it reassures me to have you as one of his "guardians"! (Plus I'm sure he doesn't want BIG trouble from anyone either!)

You'll definitely be kept posted, and we're planning on arranging to send our friends some pics of the happy couple! Thanks for posting too!

Of course I've lived the first moment of the meeting over and over many times in my dreams! It looks like the first glimpse I'll have will be to see Oman exit the elevator on my floor!

OK I Can Finally Come Clean

I have met a wonderful man on Lit and we are now doing a countdown till he comes to see me. He will be here in 31 days.

He had ended a relationship on lit and it was a few weeks after that, that he told me he had feelings for me. We had been friends and only friends that talked for a long time. He did not want the other woman to think we were involved while he was involved with her, and we weren't, so we kept quiet.

But I have lost my heart and so has he. He is looking at moving down here if things work out in March. Which incidently is why I have not been cybering in chat lately.

But right now he is still far away and dealing with issues. So I am in a long distance relationship now and waiting and counting the days until my Classy_Lover Marty arrives.

WOW Hat!!! How wonderful for you!! Countdowns are amazing things to have in your life, and I'm so happy for you. Let us know if there is anything we could do for you, but that's why I started this thread. I've received a lot of information by sharing my feelings with the other LDRs.

It's amazing how many "Lit couples" have developed, and although some have failed, it appears there are just as many still holding on and appreciating each other! Being aware of your countdown, Hat, will actually comfort me after Oman returns home. It's getting close to the wire for me, and I couldn't feel happier! (But we both seem to have a million things running through our minds, and I'm finding it hard to sleep more than a couple hours at a time right now!)

Love is certainly in the air!!

How long will you two be able to be together this trip? You have both always been so supportive to us and your posts have been great comfort and inspiration through these months.

You seem to be a big step ahead of us, and I realize already that it will be hard watching Oman head back home after the visit. I'm trying to think that thoughts of Oman after he returns home will be a mix of the torture of separation and the rememberances of how it really FELT being together.

Yes, and LDR is really worth it!!

I was talking to LTR and I have been thinking it is 6 Months till we will be together. She corrected me that we will be together in just over 4 Months. The waiting and wanting will end with in a shorter time then I thought.

Wow, Tiger... that's GREAT news!! As slow as time sometimes moves, 4 months won't be as endless as it sounds, and then the move will be made! I'm so happy for the two of you!!

We're only planning a few big events (including meeting my close friends and a dinner with some of the NYC threaders). Since Oman is staying 7 1/2 days and we're both strapped for funds, there will be a lot of "simple" things that we'll be keeping busy with! We just discussed this, and considering it's his first time in the big City, we might try and see some "sights" (other than the view from the windows!).

It's great that you have already scheduled two meetings since it's always best to finish one trip with plans for the next! Again, I'm happy for you Hat, and we'll keep each other posted!

Being in love is wonderful! Let's all enjoy!!
