Thanks for the congrats Jenny and Hatara! I am so glad I don't have to go back this fall. I am not planning on taking too much time off. I am just waiting until I have been at my new job for a year...they will pay for 100% of my school then. No more student loans for me!!

But the there is good news...I'm hoping (fingers and toes crossed) that I will be moving my countdown up by 2 days! We might have the opportunity to get together the night he flies in before he heads off for his families place! It still just blows my mind that we are getting to meet so soon, we've only been emailing and chatting for about a month.

I know what you mean about being connected. We were out of touch for a couple of days this week and I felt out of sorts. I kept checking my email and would then remember I wouldn't be getting any and I won't even go into sitting on the computer at night..I didn't even turn on any of my messengers. I was so glad to get an email from him tonight...I was worried..he had surgery on Wednesday, nothing major but still I worried. I've got to get his phone number and find a source for cheap phone cards

Hope this weekend is finding you feeling much better. Countdowns get better when they're sooner than later!

I found that long distance phone cards are a very good deal! They are "timed" and prepaid, and I have found them a better deal than long distance rates.

Early on after Oman and I started "connecting" online, someone recommended that we meet "as soon as possible"! It was about 4 months for us, and it didn't come soon enough!

I think a lot of us understand that "feeling" of turning on the computer and NOT finding him online!

I am going crazy with that feeling right now. My love, as you have heard, is away for another 2-3 weeks. So, she has no computer to use, unless she borrows one for a quick email. Every night I sign onto messenger, only to realize that she won't be showing up.

Hi everyone, checking in here. Things are going really good for Daeth and I. He's going to be moving AGAIN in about a month. As of right now we're looking at about 86 days on our countdown but I feel so connected to him We've had so much more time lately to talk and just to spend time together that I feel really great. I'm putting together my care package for him, have to get some pics developed and then I'll be sending it off. I'm hoping that by this time next year, we'll be in one place
