Good evening

I am so happy for all of you! Sheesh...I stepped away from the thread and things went crazy. It does my heart good to hear these wonderful stories. I have spent quite a bit of time tonight catching up...and it has been a wonderful experience.

I just wanted to hop in and say good luck to everyone, and to share my new countdown as well!

I am going to be taking a long vacation....about 4-5 weeks. The neat thing is, I shall be taking that time to stay with my love. I can hardly stand it....my tickets are purchased....the money arranged. *sigh* In almost precisely 20 days time, I shall be at the airport, wrapped in the arms of the woman I adore...enjoying the loving kiss only she can provide.

And especially for Jenny and Oman....I am so happy. Reading your stories and sharing in a small part of your adventure has been wonderful. This thread was even my first post...and I am very glad for that.

Oman IS in Omaha this week; likely won't be online until the weekend, but he's starting his new job and will be getting things started for us. Is it October yet?

Flying was very smoothly! Whew! LOL Omaha was very hot but it was nice too. I liked it. I am so happy for you and Oman. October will be here before you know it. *hugs* to both of you!!

Hi Fellow LDRs, I am back!

Well, I am back in CT, after a wonderful two weeks in the UK with Bluespoke! He is WONDERFUL! No, he is beyond wonderful!!!!!

I had a brilliant ( see? I am already using UK jargon) holiday with my love. I did not want to come home, but alas, one must work and pay the bills so that one day I can move to the UK permanently!

So what have I been missing? Any good news? I will read up on all the goings-on, so it may take a while but I am sure there are surprises and lots of good news all around!

There is nothing better than holding the one you love in your arms. To be able to touch them, love them, hold them in your arms, fall asleep together and wake up and gaze at their face.

When you can't be together the memories are sweet and the dreams of what was and will be even better.

So happy that your time with Bluespoke went so well! It's been a pretty wonderful time for most of us. Not exactly a "countdown" yet, but sometime in October, I'll be in Oman's arms in Omaha, Nebraska!

sounds like you are getting some good feed back here... I'll add my 2 cents worth.

I met my guy online 5 1/2 yrs ago. I knew instantly that he was the "one", but he wasn't so sure. 2 yrs of building a solid friendship, we met face to face. I opened the hotel door and it was like seeing a long lost friend. The first kiss was heaven. The first time we made love there wasn't any of that awkward whos arm goes where... we'd talked about it so often that everything fell into place.

3 1/2 years later we are still spending vacations and long weekends together. Would we like to be together full time, YES. But, we both realize that no matter how much time we spend emailing, IMing, talking on the phone we aren't quite ready for that BIG STEP.

We've set a goal for ourselves, next spring we will both relocate. Plenty of money in the bank, someplace we both want to be with out the outside strains of ex's and family to distract us.

My best advice on the whole situation.....
know him inside and out, talk to his friends, family and yes even the ex's.

Love him, but, not just because you want to be loved.

Well I have been moving and it has given new meaning to the term hell. My cable modem won't work yet, the phone works sometimes when it wants to and my mom and aunt are here till Thursday helping me move.

I love my family and they are great at helping.

OK so they have an extended size van. One more trip and we should be done.

I don't care if they fix the leaks right away even. I want a working phone that doesn't cut out. MSN that doesn't kick me and not let me back on cause I am using AOL dial up. (There are a lot of people mad at me for that one about now. Can't even email them to tell them what happened till the next day if I am lucky.)

But most of all I want hugs, cuddles, snuggles and if I can't have that I want to talk to Marty on the phone for as long as I want.

OK I have been a brat long enough just really tired, soar and my sink that was only just installed needs to be fixed tomorrow for the 3rd time.
