I've still got fluid in both ears and the right one is infected. But the medication I'm on seems to be working, thank goodness.

We've got a gorgeous day here in East Tennessee....sunny with a slight nip in the air. My windows are open!

I hope everyone's had a good week and have plans for some fun activities this weekend.

Sorry to hear you're still struggling with the Allergy complications though...

Happy Almost Friday, My Friends!!!

Other than the buzzing in my ears, still, I'm actually feeling human again! I have an appointment with an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist next Wednesday...and hopefully we can start getting rid of this damn buzz. Not that I don't enjoy a good buzz on occasion, just not 24/7 in both of my ears!

Free beer on ice over in the corner cooler for those who are thirsty!

To everyone who's stopped in over the last week, a ((((tight hug)))) n for each of you....along with a pinch and smack on your buttocks.

HAPPY FRIDAY, Y'ALL!!!

How's everyone doin?

It's been a rough couple of weeks for me....but hopefully it's all behind me.

Daddy is continuing to recover from the bypass surgery, but he's been feeling the effects of it. And he got a not so good result from his bone density test this week. His doctor may put him on monthly shots to counter act that.

I finally got to make one of those Tipsy Pots last weekend. It was part of Moms Mother's Day gift. Here is a photo of how it turned out:

I've got an idea for making one for myself and I'll post a pic when it's completed.

I'm getting excited about the upcoming race trip to the 600 at Charlotte at the end of the month. It's a MUCH NEEDED road trip!

The buzzing is at a very low volume and VERY tolerable. I had that appt with a ear, nose and throat specialist this week. I just had some minor issues with the hearing test. And I'm scheduled to have a 'auditory brainstem response' test June 1.

Speaking of cats, I assume by mixed company, you mean humans and cats? Does Gilligan actually prefer to be told pleasantries rather than the cold hard, truth? (Like, you are going to have to stay at your grandma's while I am off to Charlotte, to uhh ... have grits for breakfast!)

That buzzing thing worries me, and I have been concerned about it on your behalf for several months. My hope that it would turn out to be nearby bees is nearly exhausted.

Not that I really wanted you to find a nest of Africanized bees in your hair.

I have not been up to much. My trips have been brief .. three day weekend trip to the Connecticut coastline in late March, a day at Fenway Park last Saturday, a 3-day weekend trip to Toronto scheduled for Memorial Day weekend with my daughter. One day on Broadway to see Dan Radcliffe and John Larroquette's play -- Radcliffe has a pretty decent singing voice.

Other than that, preparing for my concert in June, and working.

Gilligan actually likes to go to Granny's. It's getting him in the pet taxi to bring him home that's the issue.
