How's everyone doing???

1st off...to those who posted Birthday wishes a big ol juicy n tight hug to each of you. It was the BIG one! Didn't do anything special...yet. I wanted to do something I'd never done before to mark the big day and it took me a while to come up with something. But I've now decided and tomorrow I'm getting my 1st tattoo. I'm getting a 4-leaf clover above my left ankle. I chose the 4-leaf clover hoping for some luck...and...I have 3 Sister friends and we've been friends since our sophomore year of high school. A leaf for each of us. Mr HDL is all bend out of shape about it, but this is something I really want...and I'm certainly beyond the age of consent.

I'm having some issues with the knee I fell on when I sprained my ankle last fall. I've had the x-ray, which showed nothing and I'm scheduled for some physical therapy this coming Wednesday. I fear there is cartilage damage.

So...tell me what Y'all have been up to. Got any plans for the 4th weekend?

My plans are to have Nat's family over for bbq and fireworks.

The following weekend is to be at the lake with some of his family and some of mine.

We're having a cook out @ Mom & Daddys. My Lil Bro (technnically my cousin), his wife and Mom are coming too. I've never met his wife, but he's told me all along that she & I will be dangerous together...so I can't wait!!! She's a cat person like me and Gilligan is looking forward to meeting her too!

LOL...I dunno about the bleacher sitting, but this all started up about a week before the Charlotte trip, so all that walking may be a contributing factor.

I am packing up the week of the 4th because I am driving my son and I back to our state of origin, for a month. I need to do some work on my house and give my parents some special time with their grandson. Mainly so everyone can spoil him rotten, then I get to deal with it later!

I do plan on being wicked while I'm there, during the last week of July!

I said, "because he makes my bed rock" which caused him all sorts of discomfort, but if the man is gonna ask, he better learn, I'll answer bluntly

The Mayor loves fireworks, and as Nat will not be with me *sniff*, I'll have to purchase some instead of making em

A Nooner with the Tat Man! Sounds painfully fun! Yeah, save the drink for later. I watched a friend get a tattoo a few years ago and he had been drinking before he did it. The guy doing the art told him that alcohol makes it bleed more and that is a pain for the artist.

I have to do some yard work and I am going to be tearing out the wall in the room downstairs. I need to find out where the water is seeping in when the snow melts and seal it. Then I am also going to tear out the carpeting downstairs and put in all new carpeting.

Hey if you want to join me I won't say no! I'll only have a couple of twin beds and probably an air mattress to sleep on. But there is hot and cold running water, and the pool should be open and clean!
