GOOD NEWS----> Rod is out of recovery and on his way to his room. The nurse reports that all went well. I will post again later this evening.

Rod was having a tuff time yesterday atfernoon & evening.
Seems the pain meds were making him sick bad enough he couldn't keep down any solid food.
We're all hoping they got things figured out & he's not is as much pain as he was.
I can only imagine between the surgery & the bad reaction to the meds. :(
 
Hey Lynn! Starry told me to let you know that my house in Michigan is only 20 minutes away from MIS.
 
In From Rod himself! He just popped into the over 40s thread before crashing...

Hi ya'll I'm home! My surgery went very well but I had a little trouble getting the pain meds working in unison after surgery. Finally got it under control about midnight so I had a good morning even though I didn't get any sleep. I'll sleep much better in my own bed anyway.

I went to one race in all the time I lived up there. Got the worst sunburn I've ever had in my entire life! I use to work the Nugget on race weekends. I met a lot of the drivers and have a lot of autographs.

She's having some auto work done, I believe, then out shopping.

She's probably showing off her body artwork along with her retail therapy.

Maybe it's even a group therapy session, who knows?

Ahhhh that was me last night.
I finally gave up around 7:30 and manged to
stagger out of bed finally at 10 this morning. :eek: :eek:
