Maryland is for lovers?

I haven't been on in awhile. How is everyone? Sadly nothing exciting going on with me. Just work and runs up to Sams club in Annapolis.

That sounds very familiar. Just replace "Sam's Club" with "Costco" and "Annapolis" with "Brandywine". So here I am again, starting another day after a seventeen step commute from the bedroom to my desk. I'm trying to decide where to go for lunch. I'm thinking maybe "the kitchen". It's become my regular lunch spot recently, since it's the most convenient place to my office.

Yeah, it's tough to live an exciting life worth sharing while staying in the house all day every day. It's hard to make your monthly Costco run sound interesting, even if it is the highlight of your month.

I'm actually venturing out to Home Depot and installing a closet system this weekend. Should be wild and crazy. I've finished a new story that's currently in the editing phase. It should be out this month. That will be a bigger deal than the Costco trip (for me anyway).

Best of luck with the polymeric sand, Stargazer. What sort of project have got to fill the time?

I put a patio in and filling the spaces between pavers with this polymeric sand which is supposed to harden up.after spraying with water but some of the grout lines harden while others don't and I don't know what I am doing wrong. Driving me crazy.

My adventure has been going out to Lowes. How sad is that. Lol.

I need to come to.your big box store sarge for the sights. Have not seen any my way.

I need to get some of that sand for my brick sidewalk. We tried it once before, but it didn't seem "right".

I have not got it to work well yet. I did some research and found what is suppose to be the best sand so I bought a bucket of it and will try it this weekend. Other than that, no other real plans for the weekend. Hope everyone is doing well.

It's supposed to be spectacular most of the weekend, so mine will definitely involve some golf! Too bad the pool's closed at our club right now . . . . that's always good for some eye candy -- MILFs galore . . . . after a round!

So how was the golf and did you see any eye candy? The pool at my golf club is open but in the 6 years I have been a member I have never been to the pool so I don't know what the talent is there. I am not sure how much social distancing they can do at the pool though.

I believe the polymeric sand finally worked for me but will see how it holds up over the next year to be sure.

StarGazer - Thanks for the input on the sand.

Mistress - Hi and welcome to the party!

I hope that the fathers out there had a very nice Father's Day. We had a 10-hour campfire yesterday. I am exhausted.

Greetings to Mistress as well!

Slugger -- A 10-hour campfire? Sounds HOT! (sorry, couldn't resist)

I did, in fact, have a great Father's Day. My wife had me open up my "card" (her) first thing after we woke up, then after playing with her holes, I played 18 holes of golf (not as well as the early morning card-opening, but hey . . . . )

Well played ... on all accounts spurtman!
Where did you play golf? Or you don't have to say if you would rather not "out" yourself.

Am in MD! Hello

Welcome Mistress. Nice to have a new woman on the thread.

Had a huge thunderstorm on Saturday that dropped 5" of rain so the rest of the afternoon was a waste. Did play some golf on Sunday which was fun. Had a nice fathers day dinner. Hope all the other dad's had a great day too.

Slugger -- Thanks, my friend! Don't want to out myself, but let's just say I play (regularly) somewhere in Montgomery County . . . .

My mom lives over that way in Montgomery county so sometimes when I am over that way I go to the Olney Golf park and hit balls. From time to time I will see some nice looking women on the range there.

As a kid I played Sligo and Northwestern a lot. Played Univ of Maryland course a lot too back in the day. I have friends that used to belong to Argyle so have played there over the years too. I played Columbia Country club one time and I played Avenel once. Most of the other public courses in Montgomery county were built after I grew up so have only played those other public courses once or twice over the years.

Giving the thread a bump for the weekend. Hope everyone has been staying safe and is doing well.

It was a great weekend for playing in the pool. Hope everyone else enjoyed themselves.

Lot of golf for me this weekend (played in a two-day tournament, not particularly well, but hey, it was golf and it was fun!) Did spy some nice-looking MILFs poolside, but that's about as close to any action this guy enjoyed off the golf course, LOL!

I know I have posted this before but just want to provide a reminder for the rules of golf:

Each player shall furnish his own equipment for play -- normally one club and two balls.

Play on a course must be approved by the owner of the hole.

Unlike outdoor golf, the object is to get the club in the hole and keep the balls out of the hole.

For most effective play, the club should have a firm shaft.

Course owners are permitted to check shaft stiffness before play begins.

Course owners reserve the right to restrict the length of the club to avoid damage to the hole.

The object of the game is to take as many strokes as necessary until the course owner is satisfied that the play is complete.

Failure to do so may result in being denied permission to play the course again.

It is considered bad form to begin playing the hole immediately upon arrival at the course.

The experienced player will normally take time to admire the entire course, with special attention to well formed bunkers.

Players are cautioned not to mention other courses they have played on or are currently playing to the owner of the course being played.

Upset course owners have been known to damage a player's equipment for this reason.

Players are encouraged to have proper rain gear along, just in case.

Players should assure themselves that their match has been properly scheduled, particularly when a new course is being played on for the first time.

Previous players have been known to become irate if they discover someone else playing what they consider to be a private course.

Players should not assume a course is in shape for play at all times.

Some players may be embarrassed if they find the course to be temporarily under repair.

Players are advised to be extremely tactful in this situation.

More advanced players will find alternate means of play when this is the case. Players are advised to obtain the course owner's permission before attempting to play the back nine.

Slow play is encouraged; however, players should be prepared to proceed at a quicker pace, at least temporarily, at the course owner's request.

It is considered outstanding performance, time permitting, to play the same hole several times in one match.

The course owner will be the sole judge of who is the best player.

Glad you had a good weekend.
Unlike Stargazer's golf rules, however, my poolside has only one rule...No Running (on the slippery surface). Otherwise, dive into whoever you want.

Hey everyone! Just dropping in to say hello and maybe lightly stalk a few of my favorites. ;) Haven't been on in a couple of months. Just working and doing some crafts. :)
